7001 Managing Strategy Operations and Partnerships Assignment Sample 2024

Activity 1

Vision The leading food retailing provider for Korean and Japanese-affiliated businesses in the United States. Nippn’s performance is to generate more income as well as revenue for the groups to benefit from the plans with other U.S.-based companies. They also intend to build and sustain long-term connections (Fukumitsu et al., 2017)
Quality Evaluation Justification and description Implications
Volume High Nippn is a food retailing brand that provides flour in supermarkets and stores. The volumes of the products are quite high as a sack of flour weighs a maximum of 25kg of the products. In this case, the company is supposed to provide the products at a reasonable rate. These flours aim to make bread out of it. Hence the company is selling the products to other companies as well. Nippn   has gained market stability in Japan as most of the companies are benefiting from the other companies.

In other words, the companies that are aligned with business purposes are one of the most efficient parts of the company as the company is dealing with the other companies for selling their products (Harada et al., 2020).

Variety Low Nippn is a flour-based company that sells flour. The flour is used to make bread for other cuisines. Hence the company has obtained the market segmentation of bread-based companies of Japan. It can be implicated that the company is making the business deal with supermarkets as well as other restaurants that need the flour as their primary sources for the business.
Variation Low Nippn   is a flour firm that only offers flour. The flour is utilized in the production of bread for different cuisines. As a result, the business has gained the market segmentation of Japanese bread-based enterprises. The organization may be forming business deals with supermarkets as well as other eateries that use flour as their major source of revenue.
Visibility Moderate The company is a national company that does not do international business. The company is limited in Japan, the USA, and Korea where the company makes the business and sells the flour for the bread (Kawata et al., 2018). The implication of the business is to deal with these three countries such as the USA, Japan, and Korea’s where the company is dealing with the supermarket as well as restaurants that need flour as their resource.
Speed Moderate The speed of the products is also moderate as they are delivering their products to supermarkets and businesses. The business does not have obtained a huge place in the market.
Quality High The quality of the products is high. This means that the company is producing a good quality of products for the consumers. Most of the restaurants are getting products from Nippn   as the product quality is reasonable.
Flexibility Moderate The flexibility of the products is moderate as the supply chain management is not fast. The supermarket, as well as restaurants, are maintaining the business deal due to the same.
Dependability Moderate The dependability of the products is also moderate as the resources are gained directly from the farm. Raw material such as wheat is obtained from the farm.
Cost Low  The cost of the products is reasonable. These are the staple food products for japan hence they had to make the price moderate (Morita et al., 2020). Staple food products are moderate or low in cost.
