This technology has been used for patient monitoring, treatment protocol development, drug development, personalized medicine, diagnosis processes and drug development process. This AI technology provides competitive advantages to organisations as well as help to increase their customer base and increase the annual income of organisations.
In 2017, there were 1426 organisations that used this technology but according to research in 2025, 28046 organisations will be using this feature (statista.com, 2019). However, there are some issues and challenges that can be faced by those organisations in case of installing this technology but this provides organisations several opportunities to maintain organisational infrastructure. This is the reason why this technology is getting demanded by most of the industrial sector.
Research questions are:
- What is the impact of AI technology on the development of organisations in the healthcare sector?
- What are the challenges that have been faced by the healthcare industry?
- What are possible strategies that have been used in the implementation of AI technology?
3. Desired outcomes of Project
The objective of the proposal topic:
- To understand the impact of AI technology in the healthcare sector.
- To identify issues and opportunities of using this technology in the healthcare sector.
- To know possible strategies to implement this technology and utilise its facilities to improve the healthcare sector.
- To identify evaluation of AI technology in the healthcare sector in case of improving business infrastructure (Torresen, 2018).
- To identify the benefits of using this advanced technology in the healthcare sector.
4. Explanation of research design
In the case of using advanced technology, AI technology is a prime requirement of the industrial sector. As this advanced technology contains various advantages in the case of managing business and helps to boost the performance of original employees, an organisation under the healthcare industry will be able to take care of multiple patients at once.
This will be able to increase the overall workflow of the organisation and the management team will be able to look after every department and take possible steps to improve their business strategies. On other hand, this helps them to develop proper strategies and help them to take proper decisions in sudden problematic situations.
This is the reason why most organisations are interested in implementing this in organisational infrastructure that will provide competitive advantages. However, organisations have to change their strategies and their working structure to use this advanced technology and utilise its features for their organisational development.
In this scenario, a primary qualitative research process will be used for this topic as this research process will help researchers to get more specific for the research topic. It will provide researchers with an opportunity to go a more speculative way for a research topic and it is beneficial to collect data and information for a particular industrial sector.
Apart from this, it will be based on human experience and collected data and information are pretty authentic. It provides an opportunity for research to research further on the topic. This research process will help to understand the reason for using this AI technology in the healthcare industry and possible ways to implement it in their business infrastructure (Torresen, 2018).
Other than this, it will provide valuable data to researchers on a particular product and technology that help to get a brief overview of the technology and the proper utilisation process of that product.

The studies will also be used; therefore, there will be a primary quantitative research process which is the process of collecting data and information on a particular topic. This research process will help to get a large sample size on a research topic and it helps to get a broad area of information on that particular topic. In case of having a more statistical view on a research topic, a researcher uses this quantitative research (Benoit et al. 2018).
This process will help to understand issues and possible risk factors that can affect the workflow of a particular organisation. This will help the management team to get effective strategies to mitigate those issues and minimize their organisational loss. However, this research process will use numerical data collection and researchers prefer to use a quantitative research process as there will be a survey that will be done for collecting information on research topics. On the other hand, three will also be qualitative data used for the interview procedure.
There will be a survey that will be arranged for having more data and information on research topics and researchers will explore the research process. This will help researchers to research data and explore new data and information that provides several beneficial information for future research processes. This research design will provide an opportunity for researchers to adopt sudden changes in the research process for collecting more authentic information to get positive outcomes on research topics.
The exploratory process will provide an opportunity to research on those research topics that do not have proper solutions and a researcher has to go more speculative on that topic and there are opportunities of having future research on that particular topic (Nakash et al. 2021).
This is an unstructured research design that is why a researcher is able to take effective steps at any stage of a research topic to get a possible outcome on that topic. This research process will help to get maximum information in the meantime and a researcher will be able to fulfil those objectives of the research topic.
5. Outline of principal methods
Participants
- 3 managers
- 51 healthcare workers
- 3 demographic questions
- 7 normal questions
There will be 3 managers for the interview process and 51 healthcare workers for the survey procedure at the proper venue. There are 3 demographic questions and 7 normal questions.
Sample size
There will be a survey process as well as an interview process that help the researcher to get the information on this topic. Therefore, there are 10 questions for both procedures where there will be both demographic questions and normal questions based on their experience. Theamanger will share their experience on the use of AI for their strategy developing procedure.
Recruitment procedure
In case of gathering relevant data and information, researchers have to visit various healthcare organisations and should have proper employee engagement to understand working procedures and impact of AI technology in their organisation and the benefits of using it to boost their performance (Feijóo et al. 2020). In this case, the research will select members and their information for providing information about the interview process.
After that, the research will choose a proper venue and time for conducting that interview process. Therefore, a researcher will take care that those participants are there at the proper time. Those participants will have to be informed about the purpose of arranging this interview process and other information to clarify their doubts about this procedure.
Other than this, interviewers and participants will have to sign an agreement before participating in this process and they will have an opportunity to leave this interview process before signing the agreement. There will be a brief survey that helps to get a broad view on this topic and help to explore more information about this topic.
Procedure of interview
Participants will be needed to reach at the proper time and at a selected venue. Those participants are free to ask relevant questions about the interview process and clarify their doubts before starting that interview process. The interviewer will ask questions to their participants and it will be recorded. This will help to gather authentic information on research topics.
On the other hand, organisations have to cooperate with processes that help to fulfil the requirements of this interview process. There is a pandemic situation all over the world that a researcher has to be dependent on online data collecting procedures and have to find authentic ones from them. In order to ensure the safety of participants of the research, an online survey and interview will be used.
Brief description of research topic
AI technology is one of the most demanded advanced technologies that contains several benefits and provides an opportunity for developing any industrial sector. Organisations are using this feature of AI technology to develop their organisational strategy and mitigate their issue and risk factors.
AI technology helps management teams to look after the performance of their employees and they are able to provide information to their employees to improve their performance (Cust et al. 2019). Employees will be able to focus on their issues and use that information and they will be able to develop their skills in the meantime.
This will help the organisation to increase its workflow and efficiency. Therefore, this technology will help to analyse data from existing strategies and it is the main technology that easily identifies faults in those existing strategies. This will help the management team to develop a proper strategy that mitigates their financial risk situation and it will improve the decision making procedure of those employees.
Data collection
Researchers will have to choose a proper data collection process that will collect information about this research topic and researchers will be able to improve their research process and will get a positive outcome. There will be a primary data analysis process as there will be a survey and interview process will be arranged to get topic related data (Gentil et al. 2017).
In this case, there will be the use of both qualitative and quantitative research processes in this research. This primary data collection process will provide authentic information on the basis of their experience. However, participants will provide information on their perspective and it will vary on their experience.
Data management
Researchers will not mention the name of their employees and their details. That information will be kept confidential to manage data for the success of this project. In the case of the interview process, recordings of participants will be transferred to arrange the project process successfully.
Researchers will collect relevant information from that recording and remove existing ones to maintain the authenticity of the process. In the survey process, information often participants will adobe keep private and there will not be any name mentioned about participants.
Data analysis
In this research process, analyses of qualitative and quantitative processes will be used. In the Quantitative research process, there will be the use of Excel that will help researchers to get details about the numerical study and this will help in the survey procedure (Babchuk, 2019). Other than this, there is a qualitative data analysis process for interview procedures and it will help researchers to get their personal experience to get the authentic information.
Risk and benefits
In this procedure, researchers will have to go through several processes for the safety of those data and information. There will be some risk factors as recording and survey have important information on ectopic and performance of the organisation. Researchers will have to keep that information private.
Ethical consideration
There will not be any data manipulation of those research processes and that information is authentic. There will not be any risk of data leakage of those participants. The researcher will keep the name and other information of those participants and the organisations.
