Evaluating risk assessment techniques on an international project
World Expo 2022 needs to be hosted, for which Bangladesh has submitted a bid to the “World Expo Congress”. Hence, two international criteria will be discussed along with their suitability for hosting “World Expo 2022” (Djenontin and Meadow, 2018).
Based on the available information, it can be said that four countries have submitted the “bid” to the “World Expo Congress” for hosting “World Expo 2022”. Hence, Bangladesh is one of them, which wants to host this project. Thus, eight international criteria have been asked by the “World Expo Committee” before evaluating the bids effectively.
In this case, “World Expo 2022” can be considered as an international project, which needs international criteria for implementing and conducting. According to the market analysis, it can be observed that there are several processes or techniques for evaluating “risk assessment”. Those ate such as: “Assessments of Site-Specific Risk”, “Dynamic Risk Assessments” and more others (Kurbonov, 2021).
According to the “site-specific risks assessment technique” on this international project, the committee has decided to follow the international criteria for implementing the project effectively. Based on the international criteria, it can be known that there are eight criteria.
As opined by Ikenberry, (2018), among these criteria, “International standard for the protection of privacy and personal information (ISPPPI)” and “International standard result management (ISRM)” are suitable. According to the ISRM, it is mandatory for developing international projects. It helps in setting out the “core responsibilities” of ADOs for result management. In which, ISPPI ensures privacy protection in the international project.
The impact of the macro-environment of the host country on project implementation
Based on the available information, it can be observed that two international criteria’s have been selected for hosting “World Expo 2022”, which are ISRM and ISPPI. This project can be known as the “International registered exhibitions”, which leads in the global gathering of “nations’ ‘. Through this project, most of the companies can get solutions to different challenges. According to the case scenario, Bangladesh has submitted the bid for this project implementation.
However, the macro-environment of this country needs to be evaluated properly, for identifying the impact of the external factors on project implementation. Based on the macro-environmental factors, the selected criteria will be suitable for this country.

According to this analysis, it can be known that Bangladesh has a good political and judicial system. It is advanced in technology, which effectively impacts the economic conditions of the country. These are effective for implementing projects or hosting “World Expo 2022” in Bangladesh significantly.
In order to analyse these factors, it can be ensured that ISRM and ISPPI criteria are highly suitable for hosting “World Expo 2022” (Wada-ama.org, 2022). Through evaluating these criteria, it can be known that these two criteria’s are effective and mandatory for result management effectively, according to these criteria’s, the “world expo committee” can follow several privacy right for implementing those in the project effectively. According to these criteria’s, the committee can follow all irrelevant guidelines and consult with relevant stakeholders for implementing the project in a proper way.
