HERE IS SAMPLE OF CN7026 Cloud Computing Assignment
Introduction
The report contains and directs to the smart metering in a vertical application. Energy consumption is one of the crucial factors where the output of any system is dependable. Inefficient energy consumption always directs to the complex power supply in organization. The value chain of any organization is always reliable on the infrastructure level of energy production.
As the infrastructure of any system contains various energy consumption in their workplaces, cloud services can be responsible for adequate energy consumption and reduce the usage of enormous energy in the workplace. Different business processes are there in any organization where several types of users use a single system where problems occur whenever multiple employers want to access the system at an only time. The vertical application could provide the necessary software application supporting specific business procedures to target a smaller number of users.
Project plan
As the usage of any applications is enormous in terms of using it by a considerable number of employees at a time, the distributed applications could help here to revive the applications based on their workflow and necessities. Vertical application is taken into consideration as a significant plan where the business processes are divided into segments, and vertical applications are developed containing the specific task done by a smaller group of employees.
The cloud services are taken here to develop these applications so that they can be used by the employees from anywhere in the world and access them, effectively. The plan directs to minimize the pressure on a single software rather that the pressure is divided into various vertical applications so that it can provide less stress to the applications (Breitgand et al. 2018). The enter plan is to be followed in terms of developing vertical applications with the help of smart metering.
Body: Cloud Architecture solution and Implementation
1. Requirements Gathering
It is necessary to gather the functional and nonfunctional requirements in terms of implementing the software effectively. It leaves to the essential requirements of the software making the system more beneficial for the organizations. The functional requirements are:
- The proud, based interesting service automatically detects the usage of a particular software and provides the application vertically to minimize overload.
- The vertical system will provide to the users so that they can use it in particular works.
- All the division of several activities is a turn-based on metering algorithms where the applications are separated to a minted number of users having access at the time.
- After the users of the applications have completed, it identifies that the users are gouging to be reduced.
The nonfunctional requirements of the vertical applications are:
- The employees could access the particular vertical applications only based on their responsibilities in a specific job.
- No other access will be granted to the unauthentic employees in the proposed vertical applications.
The significant risk in using the same application by a massive number of people always contain s the probability to be overloaded and crashed. Therefore, it is quite evident to distribute the activities of the application into various vertical applications and provide the minimized or reduced pressure in the single application.
2. Choice of type of cloud platform
Various types of cloud providers are present worldwide to provide the required solutions to the payroll system. But choosing the right one is always difficult among the different number of options. Here for the payroll system, the AWS is to be preferred as various types of advantages are there using AWS. AWS also eliminated all kinds of vexatious and unpredictable tasks so that it can offer more effective services.
The global presence of AWS is enormous, having best competition, storage capabilities, data and analytic services and the deployment services, which are the reason for choosing AWS in the implementation of the cloud-based payroll system (Alnezari and Rikli, 2017). Moreover, Amazon’s EC2 is responsible for offering free outbound bandwidth of approx. 1 GB which allows the users for getting the requirements of the bandwidths for the “cloud storage gratis”.
AWS contains the capabilities for throwing in the virtual storage space, computational power and bandwidth, avoiding all the unnecessary resources. Moreover, the robust backup of AWS provides a 99.95% guarantee about their security systems and assures them with their backup protocols. It contains the most significant revenues among the other competitors worldwide where the majority of the markets are preferring AWS. Hence, AWS is used here to better distribute the vertical application and separate the activities of the employees (zdnet.com, 2020).
3. Choice of data center and standards
The TIA 942 standards are taken into consideration here which is most capable of IT and network-oriented containing several redundancies of infrastructure and the concepts of reliability. The data center includes the dedicated spaces where it stores all types of crucial information in it, relying on it to be safe and always accessible from any location.
As the payroll systems are provided to consistently show the status of the payments and taxable amount of the employees, it is quite evident that they have to access the system whenever they want to do their activities but have to be assigned the tasks based on the divided vertical applications (Desthieux et al. 2018). The standards are responsible for directing into the designing of the data centers. The TIA tables are used for the identification of the telecommunication ratings in the architectural system (patentimages.storage.googleapis.com, 2017).
4. Cloud System Architecture developed to solve the problem
The cloud-based architecture is developed for solving the problems in the vertical application where it can lead to divide the applications based on the metering. The cloud service providers provide the services where the employees could get the vertical application segmented in such a way that it contains the actual specific activities to be done (Pallewatta et al. 2019). Therefore, it is quite beneficial for the system where the cloud system architecture would help effectively. Moreover, the proposed system architecture will solve the problems of overloading the application, which will be conducted based on online cloud-based applications.

5. Implementation using any cloud platform
The implementation of cloud architecture is followed by AWS, which leads to real-life implementation. Thus, the implementation of the system needs the requirements where it contains the higher speed data transmission rate with the effective data center having effective data Centre which directs to store and retrieve all the data about the employees effectively.
The vertical application with the division of activities is to be done based on the AWS service providers so that the reliability will be ensured here (Merlino et al. 2019). The cloud services are taken here to develop these applications so that they can be used by the employees from anywhere in the world and access them, effectively. The plan directs to minimize the pressure on a single software instead that the pressure is divided into various vertical applications so that it can provide less stress to the applications.
It provides the availability, secured scalability and the agility, which leads to providing better criteria of the application division vertically. Moreover, vertical apps contain more complexities than horizontal applications in terms of usage. These will surely enhance the performance of the organizations effectively.

6. Analysis and Reflection
Smart metering contains the processing of various information gathered, evaluated and aggregated consumptions of the data usages. Vertical applications contain software applications which support various business processes targeting a small number of employees at a time having particular skill sets and particular responsibilities within a single organization. The main factor of the vertical applications are they are often customized for meeting the requirements of “Industries specific users”.
Moreover, vertical apps contain more complexities than horizontal applications in terms of usage (Ruiz et al. 2017). The reason behind this is it required integration with other systems using the same organization and might require the deployment and IP assistants. The ERP “Enterprise resource planning” and CRM “Customer relationship management” are the segments where vertical applications play a crucial role.
The ERP software is used in the business management to align the end-users for the system in joint applications for helping the management of the business. On the other hand, CRM is taken into consideration for every aspect of communication which an organization contains with their consumers. It directly helps in managing both the consumer and clients in the business and archive the contract and sell leads. Therefore, ERP and CRM are to be implemented here as the vertical applications with the metering services so that they put work identically (mdpi.com, 2019).
Conclusion
Various business processes are there in any organization where several types of users use a single system where problems occur whenever multiple employers want to access the system at a single time. The vertical application could be responsible for providing the required software application supporting specific business procedures to target a smaller number of users.
The report concludes that it is very obvious that implementing the cloud-based system will provide the various advantages to the organizations for managing and optimizing the vertical application usage in the organizational system.
