Sukri and Shasrini (2020) highlighted that, there are different leadership styles present and that ladders are required to adopt styles that are suitable for business practices.
Daniel Goleman has included six different leadership styles in their approaches. According to this leadership approach, different leadership styles are related to one another. For instance, visionary leaders are able to guide individuals and organisations to attain their vision.
However, this leadership style works better when there is a clear vision available for leaders to follow. Coaching is another form of leadership style that allows companies to attain their long-term goals. Suitable leadership styles are helpful for improving emotional bonds and promoting harmony in organisations.

In this model, “G” is for goal representation at end point where organisations are required to be and in this case adopting ethical leadership styles while going through digital disruptions is a goal present for businesses. “R” stands for reality and it states organisations and their leadership’s position while managing digital disruptions in business operations. “O” stands for obstacles and barriers that are impacting digital disruption in organisations.
There are barriers such as lack of skills and necessity of training employees to gain skills that are useful in a digital-friendly environment. “W” stands for actions required to be adopted by businesses to attain initial goals namely successfully attaining digital transformation. Adopting GROW model helps to improve organisational performance and in addition to that business leaders are able to adopt suitable leadership styles to reach specific goals.
