Introduction
Professional development of individuals occurs by better utilisation of resources and training sessions, which improves knowledge. The effectiveness of educators gets enhanced, and that helps in improving teaching qualities. Diverse knowledge needs of people are fulfilled through improving teaching skills of instructors, which is a part of professional development. I have observed that reflecting personal practice would provide an opportunity to an individual in aligning previous knowledge with the practical scenario to handle the situation. Other than these conceptual understanding of new knowledge may provide an opportunity to an individual in achieving future career goals. This assignment is focusing on professional development and its internal link with intercultural awareness.

Topic 1: My employability goal
I have realised that focusing on specific objectives is a part of prioritising professional development. Management of multiple obstacles through utilising critical thinking scale has offered opportunity to an individual in managing distractions. Experiencing new aspects and learning new knowledge has become my employability goal, which should build my confidence level. My perception towards “learn” has transformed into the concept of “earn” through removing “L” from “learn” that has helped me focus towards my career. I have become capable of targeting professional development by fixing my career aligning with financial growth. On a similar note, I have figured out that honesty and punctuality are the core factors that indulge professional development on time. Professional behaviour gets developed within behaviour, which I have evaluated from my knowledge and that would help in future. I am interested in completing assigned work in the estimated time period, which would support my organisation in achieving its goal. According to Coenders and Verhoef (2019), professional development programs are successfully conducted by professionals to maintain a positive learning culture that maintains collaboration among learning communities. Different types of knowledge are gained by individuals through involving in a motivational environment.
As per my investigation towards professionalism Flexibility at workplace is vital for delivering a better output tour company. Linking with this perception, I prefer to work in London as I am impressed with the infrastructure and innovation that reduces work pressure and from w individual in delivering unique performances. Presence of sufficient technical knowledge has supported me to adopt digital transformation, which has become the main trend of market. Organisations are focusing on digital transformation for enhancing its competitive advantages so my technical skills will add value to my profession. I have observed my interest in innovative technology and that has influenced me to study fintech (Financial Technology). Mentioned type of technology provides an opportunity to improve automation in delivering and using Financial Services. I have estimated that professional development has supported me to study about modern technologies, which may help in future for achieving my employment status (Referred to appendix 1)
Topic 2: Cultural awareness
I would like to describe that during my learning period at University I have game knowledge regarding cultural values and beliefs. Intercultural awareness is generated within my behaviour from my previous learning practice. For instance, I would like to state the culture of “Kangdi” and “Pheran”, which I have gained knowledge from my University. Pheran is a traditional dress used by people of Kashmir for keeping them warm in winter, which was introduced by Mughal emperor Akbar. In Kashmir, snowfall creates chilling weather that creates difficulty for people of that area so they prefer to use Kangdi under Pheran. Kangdi is considered as a portable heater that helps in keeping warm during winter season. Aligning with my own culture, cultural values of Kashmiris was understood by me but design of dresses look and send and funny, which may create discrimination in other society. I have analysed that discriminating people for their culture may hurt their feelings and it may create a communication gap. As commented by Yu and Van Maele (2018), cultural differences may create complications in adopting a situation, which can be solved through utilising intercultural education. Thus, I have developed intercultural awareness, which focuses on understanding of own and other cultures so that an individual becomes capable of maintaining mutual respect.
I have identified that my interest towards innovative technology has influenced me to study fintech. I have collaborated my previous experiences and knowledge for execution of my responsibilities in future. According to my analysis, previous knowledge of professionalism influences individuals to become productive in terms of expanding optimistic nature. In this particular aspect, my communication skill has helped me to interact with the team members and develop teamwork skills. As reported by Alsamadani (2021), developing intercultural awareness provides an opportunity to accept a diverse working environment and deliver best output for achieving goals. In addition, skills help me to construct a trust for the relationship with others and maintain our friendly ambience. However I have also figured out that exploring mutual respect to different cultured people that support in delivering better treatment to team (Referred to appendix 2)
Topic 3: Cultural borders
Cultural border is considered as cultural differences, which makes boundaries among human societies. Different culture involves in construction of society and it creates complications in workplaces due to appearances of discrimination. Numerous opportunities are easily achieved by me through equal treatment to all people by showing respect to their beliefs. I would become capable of advancing my knowledge through interacting with people belonging from different backgrounds. Professionals are explored from behaviour through exploring emotions and feeling for other cultures.
The Global professional session model has helped me to interact and negotiate with people belonging from different regions. Cultural differences can be easily avoided by me through using my intercultural awareness. I understood the cultural values and believes, which need to be valued for eliminating discrimination issue from workplace and it develop professionalism. In addition, I am passionate about my task, which has supported me to learn new things. Professional skills are developed within my behaviour that has secured my future.
I have pursued a PhD and that has supported me in my future prospects and my confidence level has improved for my knowledge, which I have previously. Other than this, Team collaboration has supported me to learn with communities and it boosts my communication capacity. I have learnt to become professional through maintaining esteem and politeness, which will reduce bias. I would like to share that lockdown has created complications for me to learn new things by physically appearing in a learning session. My interest towards digital platforms has helped me to grab knowledge that is shared during the learning period. However, working relationships are constructed through establishing professionalism within behaviour that supports in connecting with people by emotional bond. Professional development has offered the opportunity to adopt a changing working environment. Diverse working patterns are accepted by me, which has helped me to achieve my professional goal (Referred to appendix 3).
Topic 4: Cultural challenges and other encounters
People belonging from different culture make use of diverse languages and it may create communication gap within workplaces. Nonverbal communication becomes more complicated due to presences of different gesture for different cultural background people. In this particular context, interpretation of nonverbal message becomes complex at workplaces. I have analysed that it was complication to perform in an accurate manner through interacting with diverse background people. Perception of diverse people is not understood properly and that introduce internal conflict at workplace. I have understood that people belonging from diverse cultures have different values and beliefs, which need to be treated properly to avoid internal conflict. Mutual respect to all cultures has offered opportunities to individuals in delivering equal treatment to people. Communication gaps are also overcome by showing respect to the culture of other people and it helps me to develop intercultural communication skills.
I have realised that my employability status may improve through offering equal respect to others at workplace. Better communication has individuals in maintaining team collaboration at workplace. Advanced information is shared to the team and it provides an opportunity to achieve a goal through promotion of team collaboration. Business expansion capacity is also increased through maintaining diversity at workplace. Performance labels get improved through avoiding internal conflict among team members. Sustainable strategies are efficiently implemented in organisation true making internal progress. Sharing advanced knowledge helps organisations to make their workforces professional.
According to “developmental model of intercultural sensitivity (DMIS)” is a framework that has provided an opportunity to deliver accurate reactions towards people for their cultural differences. Experiencing one’s own culture and avoiding another’s culture through psychological or physical isolation is considered as a cultural difference that needs to be eliminated through developing a defensive behaviour. Cultural newcomer faces complications in establishing their own believes in the society and that create discrimination. I have identified that minimization of cultural differences through correcting behaviour improves intercultural sensitivity. As opined by Yurur et al. (2021), Intercultural sensitivity provides an opportunity to boost motivation at workplace. Communication gaps are avoided by employees through delivering respect to all employees, which makes them feel privatized and valued (Referred to appendix 4).
Conclusion
My intention towards achieving employment status gets promoted by utilisation of my knowledge, which makes me professional. Business objectives are efficiently achieved by team members having intention of taking responsibility that are assigned to them. I have evaluated that my dedication and honesty has helped me to work ok according to my role and responsibilities fixed for me. Reflective practice has offered me the scope of developing Intercultural awareness within my behaviour. Other than this, I have gained knowledge regarding professional development from this essay. I have identified my strengths and weaknesses from my previous learning experiences, which would support me in improving my drawbacks. Future career goals would be achieved by me through rectifying my weakness.
