The presence of numerous decision makers | 4 | 3 | 12 | This situation can create a lot of confusion if the situation is not handled properly from the beginning. As per the opinion of Krichevsky (2020), the empowerment of the various stakeholders can help solve the crisis. | Manager |
Custom coding to get the right features. | 5 | 2 | 10 | Compromising to meet the goals is sometimes a necessity for proper completion of a particular project. So in this scenario there should be more focus upon the already completed goals rather than focusing more upon the unachievable ones. | Software Developer |
Underestimation of the time and resource scenario. | 5 | 3 | 15 | The clients who give orders for the making of a website are themselves sometimes not aware of the time and project requirements for a particular project. As per the opinion of Bikeev et al. (2019), the third party suppliers just tend to make a general estimation which tends to create some major drawbacks for the project. This can be ameliorated for the better by scheduling meetings regarding various key aspects of the project. | Operations Manager |
Misunderstanding what a project tends to entail | 4 | 2 | 16 | There tend to remain millions of bugs in a particular project that requires customization with the help of long hours of coding processes. There is no such thing as bug free software in this world thus creating a need to make time to time improvements.
This is the only way by which various misunderstandings in terms of meeting the project goals can be solved. |
Operations Manager |
Integration with various third party systems | 3 | 2 | 6 | Proper integration with various third party channels is absolutely essential for the successful completion of a project. But this point being neglected at most times tends to create a halt in the project.
This situation can thus be best solved with the help of integration of the mission critical objectives from the very beginning. The various key stages of the project like that of website designing should be made into prototypes and properly tested to eliminate various mishaps. |
Manager |
Data migration/population | 3 | 2 | 6 | Before starting the process of building up a website the contents that are to be given should be very clearly mentioned. The format in which the website has been created among the various responsible people should be clearly mentioned.
This helps to control the data and eliminate various unwanted data populations. |

Reflection
After studying the cost analysis I find that the process of designing a website is quite a complex one. Particularly in the case of the tourism industry it is absolutely challenging as these websites have to cater to the needs of diverse customers.
This thus calls for situation to integrate the various stakeholders from the very beginning to complete this project in proper manner. Through the risk analysis it is quite vivid that the underestimation of the resources and materials tend to create major hindrances for the project. Thus this needs to be given with a proper concern from day one to complete the project on time.
