Most importantly, plastic products of the household industry play a key role in climate change. For evident, plastic manufacturing companies have produced approximately 2.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in the year 2029 (Statista, 2021).

Companies from the industry can take steps to reduce climate change by reducing the use of plastic and focusing on recycling. For sustainable development, they have to follow national climate adaptation plans (Sdgs, 2022).
