Disaster management is defined as the management of responsibilities and resources in order to save the people affected by the disasters (Chofreh et al. 2019). It was created by a French start-up company named Zephyr Solar. It is actually a huge balloon that operates with the help of solar energy. Three major engineers were named JulieDautel, Karen Assaraf, and CédricTomissi (The Straits Times, 2021). This competition increased their knowledge about the life-threatening condition of the people who do not receive proper energy (The Straits Times, 2021). There is a great importance of energy in the areas which are affected by floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and many others. Electricity is very important in these areas to restore the lives of people. The people who provide aid need the energy to help the affected people. These three engineers aim to set up an autonomous device that has the capability to provide electricity to people in most remote areas. They created an eco-friendly generator (Google.com, 2021). The flying objects in the sky like satellites and kites were their main source of inspiration behind creating this technology.

The technology used to create Zéphyr Solar

The electricity gained from the solar panels helps the batteries inside to get heated. This makes the air inside the balloon also become heated as a result the balloon attains buoyancy.  It is made up of an electrical transformer and a very less weighted sail (Google.com, 2021).  During the day the balloon collects energy from the sun so that it can provide enough light to the people at night time.
