The operational management involves utilization of resources which belong to different kinds of staff, equipment and technology. In the system of operational management, operation managers occupied the development area, their system of delivery, goods which are based on clients and capacity of the company. Considering this part operational manager is able to manage different kind of strategic issue which is included with size of manufacturing plants, procedure of project management which is implemented in the area of network of information technology. In the area of upstream and downstream this company extracted their oil and gas. Royal Dutch Shell is the global company which is usually focused on the energy and the business of petrochemicals. This company was recently formed as an oil company.

This merger has been facilitated with different kinds of transportation throughout the world. In the year of 2005, this company officially emerged with the entity and after a few days this company has begun with a strong backbone of the oil industry (Hassan et al. 2019). In the recent decades, this company has begun with regal petroleum and now this company has been able to explore different kinds of products and chemicals which are based on the energy system. Besides oil they also have interest in the business of electricity, solar, wind and energy which is based on hydrogen. This company has its leadership, ethics and the responsibility of the corporate sector. With the help of those responsibilities gradually this company has become one of the largest corporations in the world.
The main strength of Royal Dutch Shell is it has a comprehensive portfolio which is able to cover up different aspects of oil and gas, products of petrochemical, manufacturing process of synthetic crude oil all the things are present in this company that’s why this company is able to flourish their brand easily. When a business thieves, its strategy plays an essential role. That is why the strategy of Royal Dutch Shell is known as a key player in the domain of gas and oil. By improving their strategy this company is able to make their position high in the area of natural gas, low carbon which is going to be focused on the future prospect along with sustainability. Royal Dutch Shell is able to replace their business from one side to another side, that’s why this company started with trading parts in rice, silk and the system of the machine. Following all the parts, all the things are going to be the biggest strength for this company itself. To expand the business along with the product customers also plays a vital role (Rohwer et al. 2019). With the strong relationship of customer shell it caters both business and customers. For all the motorists this company has a number of scheme and loyalty cards which are going to be added the value in the service of gas stations for frequent customers. With the help of strong relationship of customer shell assured that to make the satisfaction of the different kind of expectation they are becoming the partner of energy of their business of customer. On the other hand the main reason to improve the business is to maintain the loyalty, integrity and respect for all the customers. These things are stated as score value in the area of business. Each strategy of the company has different kinds of rules and regulation, guidelines are able to maintain total compliance of the company gradually which is one of the success factors for the company ( Pérez-Salazar et al. 2019).
There are many weaknesses associated with the growth of the company which stand as obstacles in the way of the company’s growth. So, this company also has a number of weaknesses which are distracting the current operational part of the company. The main issue that has been faced by Royal Dutch Shell is sustainability. With the help of major competitors this company is also trying to enhance the solution of sustainability and try to satisfy their customer (Weetman, P., 2019 ). For the area of the energy resources this company has very costly options which are not able to recover the revenue. Number of conflicts is present in that company that is why this company is also trying to refuse to accept the responsibility. The price war is regular with the part of competition sometimes which is going to be pricier for the customers. For some negligence, according to the caution, This Company has faced some of the biggest ethical issues. That’s why people are not able to accept their responsibility wisely. Fulcrum of caution should be exercised. In the matter of caution this company has faced a number of threats with their surroundings (Ferreira et al. 2019).
The shell business has numerous laws and regulations which are going to protect the atmosphere. Rising awareness of damaging the industry especially due to global warming in recent years it is noticeable a lot. One of the biggest threats there is going to be faced by this company which is greenhouse gas. Enhancing the power of greenhouse gas is impacted on the different kind of products of this company. In the outlook economic side, the development part of the industry is impacted on the product of the company (Nazareth, A.P., 2019).
The threatening part of the shell is included with the major competitors worldwide. The major competitors of the shell are conoco phillips, PETRONAS, CITGO and others. This part of threatening plays a role in the bottom line of this company. In this company there are some major problems which are highlighted in the area of competitive advantage. The predominance is one of the most highlighted factors. Among this entire problem the major problem that has been faced by the company is eroding the supply base which is able to produce the oil regards to the matter of war or terror. This company is owned by the British but they have some contemporary issue which is directly attached with the supply and the logistical part of the company (al Habibi, B., 2019). This particular company produces oil and fuel but in some of the cases they have already faced the issue which will be affected as a negative publicity towards their oil producing area. The CEO of this company has the quality of leadership which is inspired to maintain the tradition of the company. His idea of motivation, self-confidence is able to mitigate all the problems and try to reduce their products along with maintaining the environmental standard. The competitive advantage of royal Dutch shell has affected the company in many ways. This commitment of this company is attached with the upstream and the area of the downstream along with the revenue area which is going to be more valuable in the area of the large corporation of the company (Cole, et al. 2019). Now Shell is one of the branded retailers who are actually able to comprise their network all over ninety countries. In the area of the recommendation, it is going to be stated that, to make the business more successful and recognize that operational management plays an important role (Schmitt, U., 2019). Enhancing the technology, industrial firm, elements of working all are going to be included in the area of the operational management. With the caveat it is stated that, enhancing with the long term strategy the industrial part of the business is enhancing their performances. It is necessary to recognize the importance of building up some coherent procedure and try to increase their facility. In the business area appropriateness of elements and their centralized coordination helps to create efficient clients and the comprehensive system of the area of resources. The rapid expansion of the program is also facing some risk while they are going to manufacture different kinds of stages and try to anticipate with more effectiveness (ain et al. 2019). Combination of rapid change is going to take place in the area of the major differences and try to implement all the changes in an effective way. To make the environment more tempered the effectiveness of predominant industry plays an essential role to increase the business. All the transformation parts will be possible with the help of operational management. To transform the part of resources into some goods and their services Royal dutch Shell has used this factor just to make the company’s success.

To conclude, that operational management impacts overall the area of productivity and the part of the profitability of the business. It has the capacity to make the measurement of how all the members of the business are efficient along with their workers. Operational management is a kind of engine for the company. Managing operations is not an easy thing to do in this current competitive market. Through the help of proper analysis and declarations it can be possible to deliver the operational activities of a company. In this study the focus was to deliver and manage the operational aspects of Royal Dutch Shell in the current market. Depending on the competitive advantages of the company it can be possible to deliver a potential aspect of the company and that is what has been done so far in this study. The deliverable approach of the current market for Royal Dutch Shell and its potential advantages and their discussion has fallen in the same bowl in this study and that created a texture of reading with a lot of business information. To bid farewell, it is the opportunity of the company to expand their business in the international market that has been elaborated and discussed so far in this study.
