Human Resource Management (HRM) is a crucial part of every organisation as it ensures that all the operations in the company are executed in a proper way. In this report, the primary HRM issues of Royale Foods, proposal to optimise the issue, implementation plan with budget and risk register of the company will be discussed.
Outline of the primary HRM issues in Royale Foods
Issue of lack of productivity related to the management of individuals
The employees at Royale Foods are not efficiently trained as a result of which the operations of the company are not conducted in a systematic manner. The employees of the company lack motivation as a result of which the productivity rate of the employees is really low. Furthermore, it may be opined that the employees fail to provide services on time as the employees lack essential skills which will help in making them faster and more productive.
The customers of the company are dissatisfied because the employees are unable to provide effective service as a result of which the company is witnessing a decline in the net sales. The company needs to focus on increasing customer satisfaction as it helps in creating brand loyalty and influences repurchasing intentions of customers (Leninkumar, 2017).
Issue of lack of communication related to the management of teams
The employees at Royale Foods fail to work as a team due to lack of communication among the employees. On the other hand, it may be argued that a lack of cooperation among the employees affects the quality of service provided by the company. It may be noted that a negligence towards working as a team makes the operations within the company more time-consuming as everyone works in isolation.
The lack of communication among employees makes it difficult to conduct the activities involved within the organisation in a systematic manner as a result of which the company is losing its loyal customers. It may be stated that a lack of communication is one of the most inhibiting forces affecting organisational success (Campbell et al., 2020).
Issue of resistance related to change management
The company wants to digitise the business in order to enhance the efficiency of the company, however, a section of the company has resisted the idea. It may be noted that the decision of digitising the business has resulted in numerous conflicts within the company as not all employees have taken the change as a positive one. It may be mentioned that resistance to change occurs due to opposite or different perceptions of people who are being affected by the change (Vos and Rupert, 2018).
Proposal to optimise the delivery of HR Processes at Royale Foods
Proposal to optimise issue of lack of productivity related to the management of individuals
HRM needs to focus on imparting proper training to the employees in order to increase the productivity rate of the employees. On a broader note, it may be mentioned that HRM needs to focus on motivating the employees to do more than the bare minimum of the growth of the organisation as well as for personal and professional growth. HRM may focus on introducing performance-based ranks as it will make employees put in more effort in an attempt to get a high rank (Ashraf, 2019).
Proposal to optimise issue of lack of communication related to the management of teams
The responsibility of the HRM will be to make employees understand the importance of teamwork as it will help in achieving the organisational goals. HRM needs to initiate activities within the organisation such as simulation games and celebration of traditional holidays so that a bond is created among employees. Furthermore, it may be opined that centralisation of power in an organisation has a negative impact on communication among employees (Renani et al., 2017).
HRM of Royale Foods needs to establish an organisational culture that will enable employees to freely communicate their ideas and problems so that teamwork may be done without disruptions.
Proposal to optimise issue of resistance related to change management

The change management process of an organisation will benefit greatly from spiritual intelligence as it will make employees develop new perspectives (Muneeba, 2019). Moreover, the HRM of Royale Foods needs to assure the employees that the change management process will be conducted using a proper plan as resistance to a change often arises from uncertainty of the change.
