Introduction
It is necessary to do effective planning in project so that goals are attained. This also enables in obtaining relevant results. There are certain tools and techniques used in it by project manager. This makes easy for him to complete project on time and within specified cost (Kotnour, 2020).
Similarly, there is a conference project initiated by DDM. The goal is to attract more people for subscribing of magazine.

- To gain competitive advantage in market through organizing conference
- Moreover, to get more payments to be done by people for DDM magazine.
Estimated cost
There is need to prepare budget for completion of conference. In budget it contains cost of each resources that is to be incurred. It allows manager to ensure that no extra expenses are incurred and project finishes in specified budget given. So, for DDM conference budget given is approx. £350,000.

Timescale
Every project is having a specific deadline in which it has to be completed. This is because if deadline is missed than it leads to dissatisfaction among stakeholders (Munns and Bjeirmi, 2021). Moreover, the budget of project also increases. It also helps project manager to prepare schedule on basis of it. Hence, in DDM conference timescale is 7 months. The project starts on April 2022 and end in October 2022. There is ghanta chart prepared as well for it.
Assumptions
There can occur certain factors in project that can either be true or real. They are known as assumptions. It may do not have any proof as well. So, it requires to evaluate those factors. So, similarly, in present project they are described as below:
- The project is successfully finished by DDM
- The food and beverage quality is good.
- There may occur conflict between DDM director and other stakeholders.
- Due to conflict project may get delayed and not finished on time.
- The accommodation facilities are not proper and guest find it difficult to reach there because of ineffective travelling facilities (Murch, 2018).
Constraints
They are the barriers that can occur during project. It can effect on entire quality of project. Therefore, manager identifies them to take certain measures. They are as below:
- It may require extra funds for conference project
- The IT systems may get damaged due to some problem in it.
- There is not enough space in theatre due to mismanagement.
Communication plan
In project sharing of data and info is necessary so that it helps in measuring its progress and also timely decisions are taken. This also ensures that data is shared effectively with all stakeholders. Therefore, a communication plan is developed in which objective, frequency, medium are specified (Portny, 2017). It can be summarized that DDM conference project is month project in which allocated budget is £350,000. There can occur different risks such as delay, failure of event, rise in cost. Moreover, there are certain assumptions and constraints within event that can occur.
