Project objectives

- Also, through it they can attract more customers and also gain more subscription of magazine.
Estimated cost
Every project includes a cost on basis of which it has to be completed. Then, budget is prepared and allocation of resources is done. Hence, the budget of current project is £350,000. It is given as :
Activities | Cost |
Rent of venue | £115,000 |
Speakers cost | £17,000 |
Security services | £29,000 |
Catering services | £25,000 |
HR | £16000 |
Other expenses | £10,000 |
Timescale
It is important to complete project on time. This is because if there is any delay in it then cost rises and also project goals are affected. In digital conference project it will begin in April 2022 and end in October 2022. So, total 7 months are there.
Assumptions
In project there can occur some assumptions which are unexpected. They can impact on project negatively (de Falco and Macchiaroli, 2020). However, the manager is responsible for managing assumptions by taking relevant measures. Thus, in present project assumptions are as below:
- The catering facilities are not finished in time at venue
- There are limited health and safety measures taken.
- There can occur technical issue in IT software and speakers.
- HR is not trained well enough to perform activities in project.
- There may be lack of funds or labour on venue.
- There are travel problems for guests to reach on venue.
- No proper arrangement of 500 guests at venue.
- Resources can be insufficient due to which project is not finished on time.
Constraints
Also, there are several barriers which may occur as well. It may be due to ineffective planning or any other critical situation. So, constraints are defined as:
- There can be delay in project because of any situation.
- The cost can rise because of delay in project (Mainul Islam and Faniran, 2019).
- At time of conference IT failure may occur or security issue can arise.
- There are improper arrangements of catering services at venue.
Communication plan
It is important to develop a communication plan. It is because it shows that what type of info is to be shared with whom stakeholders. Besides that, it will also show when and how many times info is to be shared. Hence, project manager is easily able to share info in effective and systematic way with stakeholders. Thus, the plan is mentioned as below:
Description | Objective of communication | Frequency | Medium | Target audience | Owner |
Communication type | What is trying to achieve | How often it happens | Method | Who will receive communication | Who is responsible |
Event planning | Once in week | Through meeting | Project team, DDM director and stakeholders | Project manager
Roles and responsibility | Daily | Through e mail | Project team | Project manager
Project progress | Once in week | By e mail | Project team, DDM management and stakeholders | DDM director
Ticket sells | Once in month | By e mail | Stakeholders | Project team |
