Thus, the following reaction will analyse briefly about the effectiveness of resource and talent management upon global renowned technology company Amazon.

Identification of key aspects of the employment market
Talent and recruiting management is found to play a significant role for any business organisation in terms of sustaining their business competitiveness and market sustainability (van Zyl et al. 2017). Global multinational technology-based company Amazon is being considered in this report as they have continuously focused upon strengthening their workforce by retaining talent to provide efficient service facilities across the global market. A news report published in 2019 highlights that Amazon has planned to retain about 100,000 staff members, which is equivalent to one-third of the total US workforce within 2025 (Gurchiek, 2019). In the context of the staff recruitment process at Amazon, it is identified that the company always focuses upon retaining and recruiting skilled as well as specialist staff members who have the ability to contribute productively in the way to accomplish organisational overall objectives across international markets. Amazon focuses upon candidate’s excellence before recruiting them, as the management of the company believes that different people have different unique skills, perspectives and interests that bring advantages for organisational success. Adding to this, the company is found to focus on sourcing or recruiting tier required staff members from a diverse range of universities and colleges across the globe (Arnett et al. 2018). Other than this, the company recruits from international, local as well as national markets to gain the best talent for their respective vacant position.
In relation to the technology market, it is identified that about 54% IT employees are being recruited through in-office recruitment processes followed by 14% remote employees and 13% workforce is being outsourced during the year 2020 (Mlitz, 2021).
Impact on organisational talent and resourcing management
Rising wages are found to impact directly every business organisation along with its performance across the globe. In the context of Amazon, it is identified that in order to manage increasing wages, the company plans to maximise employees wages from 50% to $3 per hour for a wide range of employees within its delivery network and warehouses. On the other hand, it is identified that the company has been investing about $700 million to offer “free skills training” to its existing employees (Amazon, 2021). This directly and positively affects employee retention aspects along with the workplace motivators.

In this context, the concept of “resource-based theory” can be interlinked. The reason behind this statement is that the mentioned theory concept signifies that resources, which are rare, valuable, and non-substitutable, are effective for sustaining long-term organisational success. Amazon in this context is found to show their concern towards developing employee’s skills and establish suitable workplaces that foster their business growth and brand reputations (Chamorro-Premuzic et al. 2019). Amazon is found to be more flexible in its workplace practices and they have widened its advertising network through digital media channels to attract new talents efficiently and accurately.
Conclusion
In relation to the above discussion, it can be mentioned that talent management and resourcing both are crucial for maximising business networks and establishing a strong workforce that could directly affect organisational growth and success. The discussion has signified that Amazon has undertaken some effective measures to retain talent that directly affects their business prosperity and growth.
