2. Critical analysis of the economic, political and legal implications of the policy on business operations
2.1 The effect of coronavirus (covid-19) on business operations
From the beginning of 2020, the whole world is facing a typical condition. For the very 1st time within 100 years, we people faced this type of critical condition. In this stage of coronavirus or covid-19, humans unable to get in touch with other people, cannot be permitted to communicate properly, was not allowed to eat the outside foods, was not permitted to roam outside but peoples are only permitted to go to the hospitals and pharmacies and these types of restrictions created a scary situation for the businesses (Hasanat, et al.2020). Lockdown created a very bad situation for the businesses and the losses in businesses smashed the government also. Studying and screening shows that approx. 95% of firms’ are negatively hit due to international lockdown in march 2020 and 70% of business remain disrupted till October 2020. Even after unlocking almost 40% of business was on hold till February 2021(Abubakar, 2020). The private schools and college businesses were still on hold till December 2021. But yes, the virus covid 19 or corona virus have gave us some good results like it (i) pushed us frequently to lead our life by digital environment, (ii) it provided the companies a new opportunity to create new ideas, (iii) it highlighted the significance of coaching and upskilling, it is seen the rise in the levels of productivity, (iv) it allowed the business to save investments in many common ways, and (v) it encouraged a powerful sense of community (Alao, and Gbolagade,2020). The pandemic of the whole world by far was one of the economy has yet to be disclosed and unfortunately, few businesses have collapsed due to unimagined pressure and experience. However, among the “catastrophe and devastation” that the world economy has faced, grew a stream of creativity, adaptability and innovation by numerous businesses in a variety of sectors.Food outlets diversified, digital art exploded and offices became virtual and elegant. It did not take long to identify those who were not going to let Coronavirus bring them down (Hoque, et al.2020). The changes in the government decision hit the business market exceptionally. Leaders steer a wide range of linked issues that span from keeping their customers and employees safe. Achieving the company’s growth and performance with full confidence and stamina is not easy. In the steps of building up the business organization, business men have to face so many challenges like “accelerating changes in technology, consumer expectations and society itself” (Rakshit, and Paul, 2020). Because of covid-19 or coronavirus the business market dropped down abruptly. And this critical condition will take some minimum time to recover itself which will not only be better for the business field as well as the recovery is better for the government also. The business organizations have to maintain the order of the legal authorities. The business organizations are ordered to pay the GST (goods and services tax), which is beneficial for the government but in the situation of pandemic and lockdown business organizations were unable to pay the goods and service taxes which made a typical condition for the government also. All these crises make a fundamental change in “customer’sbehavior, supply chains, and routes to marketing are knocking companies off balance”.
2.2 Launching a new business in aviation industry
A holding company with interests and logistics, construction and banking named AAA is planning to set up a new business in the aviation industry. The company AAA wants to set up a new airline company in the aviation market and wants to launch a low budget airline in the European market (Gisario et al. 2019). There are some schemes or ideas of launching a low cost airline with comfortable services is the very first thing is the company AAA needs to focus on their competitors in the aviation market. In the aviation sector, customers or passengers will always try to find comfort in low cost and every airline company’s investors are well aware of this particular logic (Amanda et al. 2020). At the time of launching the new airline company, the AAA group should be very focused on the aircrafts types also. The second thing is the aircraft models..Generally, there are 3 types of passenger aircrafts one is Airbus, second is Boeings and third is ATRs. The airbus further slips into many models like airbus a320, airbus a321, airbus a220, airbus a380 etc. Airbus can be identified by the physical structure of the model. Airbuses are broad in structure with oval shaped or round shaped outside view of the cockpit and the window of the cockpit is L- shaped. And it is easily identified by the engine structure, in which the engine structure is round shaped. Airbus a380 is the biggest passenger aircraft (Mukhezakule, and Tefera, 2019). Airbus a380 have 4 aisle with double deck and have a capacity of carrying 853 passengers at a time. Famous airlines companies like emirates, Qatar Airways have the A380 aircrafts for carrying a large number of passengers at a particular time. The next is the Boeing aircrafts which is slim in physical structure. It has a cone shaped outside view of the cockpit and the window of the cockpit is V-shaped. Boeing aircrafts have varieties of models like Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777 Boeing, 787Dreamliner. Among all these Boeing aircrafts, Boeing 747 has the semi double deck feature with two aisles and this is a wide body aircraft. The engine of the aircraft is circular but the base portion of the engine is slightly flattened. The UK government’s airline named British Airlines prefers Boeing 777 aircraft. The smallest civil aircrafts or passenger aircraft is ATRs. ATRs can be easily recognized by the aircraft structure and can easily identified by the engines. It has fan shaped engines which look totally different from Boeing and Airbus. It has a single aisle with a narrow body. Low cost airlines like Indigo in India have the Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 and ATRs. Indigo became one of the largest low cost best airlines in the world and it is good to take the inspirations from these airlines. India is leading as the third largest civil aviation sector in the world whereas Europe is ranked in 19th position in the world (Катерна, and Молчанова, 2020). Because of the launch of this low cost airline can upgrade the rank of the European aviation sector. The third thing to be focused on is the market share of the European aviation industry, and according to 2020 the total market share of the European aviation industry is 44.5%. The accurate services of the airline should be proper, the ticket fare should be very accurate, on the basis of ticket prices the company have to focus on the facilities for the customers. So, at the time of investment the company AAA should be very careful. And the final thing the company AAA needs to be focused on is the recruitment process. The perfect airline upgraded their strategy by the proper recruitment of pilots and cabin crews. The speed of the plane and the behavior of cabin crews matters the most. They are the only models for the branding of the airline. The main crucial thing is to obey the legal rules of EASA, the ministry of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
3. Conclusion
In the above discussion, it is mentioned that the business operation takes place under many critical analysis. The business schemes are based on the profit as well as loss. At the time of pandemic so many business organizations faced loss and after that pandemic situation the companies are gradually overcoming the circumstances by facing so many challenges and by obeying the legal rules. In that period of time some special businesses like railway business, hospitality business and aviation industries business have suffered with so many problems. These businesses especially faced a large amount of losses. For starting up a new business one needs to keep in mind that that business can give the profit as well as loss in any kind of industry.
