CLOUD COMPUTING Vertical Application- Smart home
INTRODUCTION
Smart home technologies have been developed rapidly due to the owing convergence of the home networks. The value-added outcome is not well-utilized which has to bring valuable information for smart home which has to expose the data to avoid the chance from the living place. The smart home is private information that has to deal with valuable representation for future use. The cloud computing technology in a smart home framework design delivers a platform in a cloud computing service to generate data from smart homes to provide various services in a platform to protect private data. To reduce the physical infrastructure deploying the various features would be the scalability for the cloud-based system. The smart home infrastructure can be used by the services wherever at any time through the internet.
TECHNOLOGIES OF SMART HOME PLAN
The smart home plan is used to progress the quality of life for the user. It consists of various sensors with a setup infrastructure to provide applications for different users. The main problem that arises in smart home technology consists of integration and interaction with various diverse providers for users. The services and application are needed to generate smart home as an interoperability manner with sensors to generate data efficiently which consist of information to be kept as a valuable and analyzed in a confined side is a great deal. The use of smart homes and to endorse an overhaul process in cloud computing represent the powerful resources to adapt to the smart home environments. Cloud computing provides the resources with processors, with network connectivity. The main approach is used to move data in a smart home which consist of representing the application in a cloud-side to provide the data in a smart way.
REQUIREMENTS OF VERTICAL APPLICATION- SMART HOME
The smart home application for users to be safe in a platform of a cloud where information gathered at home should be private. The personal data of the home environment should be stored and secure the data carefully. Securing data is the main challenging one in deploying cloud where the computing possessions across a network. The security violations in a cloud computing environment occur concern about the protection of data in a cloud service where the users need to protect and assure data from personal information exploitation.
Smart home automation consists of home services that have been represented as a home amusement market. The smart home in a cloud provides various services which consist of traditional services as well as deliverable parts.
DATA CENTER SMART HOME PLATFORM SERVICES
The smart home cloud-based services provide in two ways such as predictable and assessment added services. The added service does not provide to handle the smart home services as an added value to the home holder. To further handing out data the appropriate services should be shared for future processing. The security can be represented as a premeditated process of designing and have to represent the several components to deal with a process as a critical issue in a smart home cloud.
FUNCTIONAL FEATURES OF SMART HOME PLATFORM
The smart home platform provides two important features one is delegation and another one is encryption before storing sensitive information in a platform. Delegation is a process of keeping data secure in order to sharing. The contribution of sharing data to other users should grant permission to access data where not all the data will be shared only the holders of a home person allow to access by others. The sharing is possible only when the holder specified access to the device to generate data. The next one is an encryption process where keep the data more securely and it can be a costly process of delivering the data securely with responsive data are encrypted for the smart home. The smart home should provide all the functionalities as a paas service where the users of a cloud platform represent as three groups such as smart home for users, providers’ service and production of devices in the smart home.
ARCHITECTURE OF SMART HOME FOR VERTICAL APPLICATION
The framework structure of a cloud computing paradigm consists of four main parts such as home gateway, virtual home gateway, a service platform for a smart home and screen devices for a home. The user request the services to a cloud server and the service find out these days easily and integrate into a smart home network. The overall structure of a framework consisting of
- HOME AND VIRTUAL GATEWAY
The home gateway is divided into two parts one is home and another one is virtual where the home network consists of data for home applications and appliances to the cloud. The virtual access consists of a predictable home gateway with additional support. The real home network gateway provides screen devices for the user to request the services on the cloud. Relaying data in a cloud is used to minimize the functionalities in a home gateway. Once the home access receives the data from sensors it sends it to virtual access on cloud environment. The virtual access receives data from home access and makes a pronouncement for the sensitivity of data. The virtual access converts command control for each gadget when necessary. Once the command is converted it will be sent to home access and distribute to the device and control.
- SMART HOME SERVICE
The smart home has a number of platforms which consist of data manager in platform, device, user, log, Metering and billing, security and service manager.
Fig1: Smart home Network Architecture
The components of protecting personal information consist of sensitive data as an encryption process in cloud storage. The data manager stores the data and access the data to monitor for value-added services. If the user wants to share the data with others they have to give permission to access others for services. The device manager in the smart home controls the device and moves the operation to the cloud. It also manages the device and IP address of the particular device information to carry out in the cloud. The user administrator provides the outline of identification, family member and so on. Log administrator provides the tack of events in a system. The billing administrator involves with a process of total cost perform by users as well as resource usage service.
- SECURITY FOR HOME
It plays the three roles such as confirmation, permission and key management. It makes available the content of services which include the process of service by using the different cryptosystems for key management. The service administrator represents the possible services to register its function where it consists of manage all data access with the representation of published service.
The smart home in cloud deployment has features that have been deployed in AWS
The instance id, type availability zone represented in AWS to check the status
Load balancer
It distributes the workload in a smart home network which consists to manage applications with servers and allocate resources using virtual machines and distribute the consignment to a particular Virtual machine.
ELASTIC BENCH
The elastic bench represents the workload changes in the smart home according to the resource available to the present demand in a smart home which provides in an automatic manner.
The need for invention in future of smart home is deployed in AWS and provides the best service and protects the information and make the client secure with reliable and responsive communication. The monitor devices facilitate to take action quickly and transmit attentively
Signal when needed.
The framework consists of a complete and integrated framework that consists of a cloud computing service for the smart home. The framework has organized functional representations which classified the services and review each service. The smart home service consists of several components which consist to meet the needs of the smart home environment. The protection of information about smart home data generated according to a platform in a smart home. The smart home merge with the cloud computing approach has an efficient solution to resolve the problems and residence consumer or overhaul contributor has the platform to utilize in the cloud platform.
