Public administration term can be coined as a sector that involves management or agencies whether they are local, state and federal and organization provide for the betterment of general public. However, in concern to government jobs or public industries, technology has been playing an important role in a way that people work and it also bring what can be achieved with the adaptation of successful management. This is because technology bring lot of transformation in the working style of people from converting manual to electronic due to which time duration of completion work get reduced (Wang et al., 2018). Moreover, the customer services are improved with the adaptation of technology as their needs and wants are easily communicated to government post advancement of technology in a way of social media, digital marketing or e-prints etc. These makes clarity among the public agencies about the directions where they need to work. The technology gives a platform to public sector to identify the people problem and provide them solution through implement the actual plans. In concern to management side, the technology has been contributing their best for the betterment of organizations in a way to make clear flow of communication among the bureaucrats due to which they well aware about the requirements or future action plan (Henry, 2015). Likewise, post-digitalisation, it becomes easy for the bureaucrats to solve the public related problem otherwise, they always faced lot of issues in regards to reach out on the people’s problem. There are few areas where digitalisation has made transformation for the public administrative employees in a way to reduce the work burden or delays in work. For example, Government banks are the ones that always faces problem related to long ques or large working hours etc (Richard, 2017). But the digital banking has helped them solve the problem through provide them services to their home. This helps the employees to serve well to the people similarly complete their task on time without any delays. The technology also helped them to make proper communication with other colleagues or senior members which proves efficient to continue the work in efficient manner.
On the other hand, public administration sector regularly receives is the level of bureaucracy limit or even hinder the effect of the work done. Likewise, digital technology is the one that having real influences on the personal lives of bureaucrats. This is because technology is also become responsible for the transparency in the employee’s personal information which could be become a reason for the threats. It’s known that sometime people use technology for a wrong purpose in terms to hack the personal information of someone account or other facts. Such problem is high in the case of bureaucrats. This case is common in the case of political leaders, popular bankers etc. Its obvious many people would be able to see the benefits of the introduction of technological advances into the sector, its not without the limitations. Its especially if the new processes are brought in incorrectly. Bureaucracies can be slow to adapt. The reason behind this is the lack of training facilities or proper execution of monitoring system in the public sectors. It is found that still public sector employees are incompetent to manage with the advanced technology due to improper conduct of training due to which they still work manual in many areas and it becomes a reason why general public still have strong believe on private sectors. Moreover, the low importance’s towards technology also affects the capabilities and skills of people due to which sector also faces lot of difficulties in the growth rate. Likewise, many government firms still struggle in managing with various software’s and hardware due to which delays in work prevalent in the case of public administration. The improper usage of technology is also become a reason why the bureaucrats face the problem of privacy (Peters, 2018). Apart from this, downside of technology can also be understood with the increasing unemployment rate as machines or software are the streamline which helps in carrying the operations in smooth manner as compare to manual work. This clearly shown the power of hardware or software and it also become a reason why the requirement of workforce get reduces as two or three people can also manage the machinery as it will not take more than that. It creates a disadvantage for the population to get employed. Therefore, it can be stated that anyone interested in entering sector, this could be seen as a cause for alarm (Ansell et al., 2021). There are numbers of degree or qualifications that offer the skills needed to enter this field of work. This practice generates the requirement for the people to get updated to fall into line with the advances in technology used in the various roles. Even, public administration now looks into the technical expertise people in order to bring the work with ease. The demand of technology become more important post-pandemic which create a sense of automation globe where without technology the things can’t function. That’s why, it become important for the public administration organizations to undertake the advanced technology in proper manner so that they could capture the complete positive impacts of it through serve best to society (Jreisat, 2019). Moreover, the public administration should focus on the technology to help bureaucrats to bring improvement in their skills and become capable to offer best to society and add value in their lives.

Moreover, the proper utilisation of technology could give more efficient results to public administration. Otherwise, the current scenario indicating that public sector is still undiscovered the technical side much in comparison to private sector. That’s why, its important for the public sector bureaucrats to focus on the improvement of its skills to adopt the right technology in order to serve best to the local and global clients.
