As an outcome of it, the planning of the project management of Boxraw has been suffering from a large scale, which includes the lack of control in the production areas of it.
- The big business corporations move their business from China to Turkey, and Vietnam due to the lack of support in the Chinese market. The entrepreneurial traits of Boxraw include the establishment of the connection of its people to the customers. In order to make the business strategic, Boxraw utilised social media in a fire part with the implementation of Telegram. Technological implementation is the other strategic approach stressed by the business of Boxraw with the large use of AI and for that, this boxing lifestyle production organisation makes a partnership with Harvard. On the other hand, the traits of the entrepreneur in Ben are enough like a good leader who motivates the employee in Boxraw. From the optimism, the business of this organisation has a lack as it has to go through several issues in its business (Anwar et al. 2021). The level of confidence is large in Ben, which helps the continuation of the business of Boxraw in the market.
On the other hand, the passion of this person is high which helps to open a new start-up for the boxing world. The discipline in the business of Boxraw is huge which Ben has prioritised. The other traits such as proactiveness, open-mindedness, competitiveness as well as the kindness of the leader of Ben support to reach the goal of the business of this organisation.
Task 2B
- The business idea of Boxraw is to promote his brand name and value to different parts of the world which is beneficial for the company growth and profit. (Boxraw, 2023)
- The organization is facing different challenges of funding which can be reduced with promotional activities through PR agencies.
- People who are actually motivated to work and hungry for work are always helpful for organizations to ensure work to mitigate issues of funding and production in organization
- Well mannered behavior with employees, respecting their ideas, innovating new AI, customized customer services to develop business (Kerr et al. 2019). Ben has followed these development features in their organization with development of entrepreneurial features in the organization
- a) Business idea
The main business idea of Boxraw Company is to promote different products essential in the boxing gyms to a large part of country. Not only the country, the company owner’s main aim is to spread the brand name to the outside of the country and enrich his sales in the global market. On the other hand, it has also been seen that this idea is beneficial for growth and innovative work in an organization as employees feel valued and they feel they should contribute to the development of the organization. It can be said that, this organization is planning on developing the promotional activities to gain more profit. If the company can reach to a large customer base, more customers can know about the company which will be benefited for the organization. He recruits different PR agencies that can start campaigns and promotional activities for the brand and its products to target right audience.
- b) Risks
This organization has faced the risks of uncertainty with development of funding and risks of suppliers. It has been seen from the case study that due to the issues of Corona Virus uncertainty of production has been seen to increase in this organization. Therefore, it can be stated that the sudden outbreak of Covid-19 increased a great loss for development of production all over the industry. On the other hand, it has been seen to compete with other brands like Zara and H&M with their high prices. The price of fashion needed to encourage the development of boxing is also going high. Therefore, it has been seen that the risk of funding is also associated with the development of this organization.
- c) Strategies to mitigate risks
It has been seen people in this organization of Boxing are hired in a way that employees are hungry to do work as well as Ben himself is also struggling to mitigate issues in the organization. It has been seen organizations have started hiring new expertise employees to increase production. On the other hand, Ben has changed business approaches to increase development of the organization. They have also done the business of car selling to fund the gap with the profit from this business. Therefore, several strategies have been followed by Ben to restructure organizational workflow.
- d) Characteristics of entrepreneurial traits
Though, he does not like the name entrepreneur and always treats their employees as family with a good relationship. Ben has incorporated some Telegram to communicate clearly with employees, Zendesk as a supporting backend application with development of unique facilities provided to the organization. Contrarily, they have also developed strategies for employee motivation in organization.
Task 3
In this task, we have discussed the implementation and use of the CMI code of conduct in organizations for personal and professional development of employees. Rolfe’s model of reflection has been used in this area to understand individual and professional development that has been elaborated on in a chosen case study. Rolfe’s reflective model is a three-step model that delivers a simple understanding of the situation, learning and development from this situation, and further improvements with those learning in the personal and professional account (Rolfe, 2002).
What
As per the case study it has been seen that teamwork and transparency in the work are the goal of leadership in Boxraw. The leader Ben has supported the work of their employees and he wants to understand the thinking of their subordinate. It has been seen from the case study that Ben used to develop hard work for their employees to achieve a goal of £10 million this year. However, he has arranged holidays with employees to make them feel happy and relaxed from work for some time (Boxraw, 2023). On the other hand, it has been seen that Ben always tries to understand the situation of sadness and happiness among employees. Send them gift cards and birthdays to feel them. Thus, in my understanding it has been seen that Ben is always used to developing a healthy relation with employees, understanding their need with development of respect and understanding for employees. Therefore, I have seen from this case study “Respecting people with whom you work” that the CMI code of conduct has been maintained (Managers, 2023). It has been seen that in this organization there is no harassment to employees and employees can freely express their thoughts that CMI respects for others being implemented in this organization.
So what
This helps me to understand that communication is an excellent tool to be incorporated with employees. On the other hand, I have seen employees in this organization valued with dignity and integrity. Provision of value to employees in an organization helps the owner to achieve all the security and working engagements for growth in an organization (Zaware, 2020). Thus, I have learned for the growth of an organization and to achieve goals through the work of employees in the organization. The leader of the organization should be transparent with them and supportive to understand their situation. On the other hand, respecting employees also creates accountability for them, which helps them to be motivated to work hard for the development of organizations (Fang et al. 2019). Thus, I have learned accountability is an attitude that a leader should also show to his subordinates.
Now what
According to the case study, it has been seen along with technology driven communications with employees employers also need to develop open communication with them. Thus, in future I have to develop my communication skills to bridge the gap with other coworkers and colleagues of mine. As stated by Niamey & Andersen (2020), open communication is a skill that helps employers and employees to be more engaged with work with self motivated work engagements. Therefore, it can also be stated that to motivate employees respect is also provided to employees.
