The Caravan of the future
Chapter 5: Conclusion and Recommendations
5.1 Conclusion
The researcher will need to wrap up the study after the entire project is complete. Consequently, this section serves as a place for the conclusion to be drawn. There are many different types of caravanning, but the most common is that the vehicle serves as a means of transportation and a place to sleep at the same time. As a subset of tourism, caravanning is described as a type of travel when the primary mode of transportation employed is a caravan. Caravans may either be permanently set up in a park or moved about by being pulled behind a vehicle. A large network of caravan parks has been created throughout many nations worldwide to accommodate this subgroup of drive tourism. Caravanning has been a popular pastime since the 1880s when gypsies were still freely roaming the English and European countryside. In the twenty-first century, technological advancements have made it possible for businesses and consumers alike to live luxuriously.
Touring caravans, one of the most advanced and opulent products of today’s cutting-edge science and technology, provide consumers the chance to travel the world and discover new locations full of adventure and excitement. In this regard, the caravan’s facilities must operate at the highest level of efficiency and sophistication so that the experience of luxury and the exhilaration of travel may be enjoyed. To give its consumers better service and a more enjoyable experience. As a modern idea, sustainable tourism includes the supply of environmentally friendly vehicles for travel with minimal fuel and energy use. We sought to come up with a novel answer for the most pressing issue, which was Refrigerator. New caravans are designed with energy conservation as a top priority, and the sumptuous appearance and feel of their interiors may be elevated even further thanks to the use of lightweight materials. There are several objectives for this project, including the identification of potential solutions to an existing problem, such as the refrigerator, the development of a PDS (product design and specification) for the chosen solution, as well as the completion of a primary survey to better understand the competitive market and future cost analyses.
Older individuals join caravan clubs for a variety of reasons, including the deep connections they make and the degree of social contact they have as a result of participating in the club’s monthly trips. People who were asked why they joined the caravan club gave a variety of answers, including the social side, the people they met, the camaraderie, the companionship, the wonderful friends they made, their enjoyment of social events, and the chance to spend time with others who shared their interests. Even though many claimed to have been caravanning for years with their families, some said they had just lately joined a club. This shows that many were driven by a desire to meet new people, either because their current circle of friends was dwindling or because they had recently retired from employment. Many of those who responded expressed a desire to explore more of Australia’s outback and see new areas. However, for others, receiving information about monthly rallies in the club magazine was a key motivation for them to “go on the road” instead of leaving their caravan in the garage and using it only once or twice a year.
Many factors must be taken into account while developing and promoting new items in the market. Competition in the target market has to be identified and determined so that the total business may be developed with competitive advantages in mind. In response to the inquiry, it has been shown that the vast majority of participants enjoy the caravan’s sustainable pricing method and can afford to pay at least 70,000 USD on a premium model. According to the statistics, the Caravan’s cost must be sustainable to acquire a competitive edge in the market and drive sales. A value-driven costing system for customers is needed by the following companies to increase overall sales. The whole cost of a Caravan van, on the other hand, should fall somewhere between $70,000 and $80,000 assuming every buyer is willing to pay that much on a Caravan. value-driven costing system is one of the most significant cost systems that may deliver the most sophisticated costing and value-added system for an organization based on current market demand and trends.
Caravans are preferred by over 80% of those who took part in the market research for their ability to transport people and gear as well as their love of adventure. The results show that the majority of customers in the market like traveling and experiencing new things in a caravan, thus it is safe to say that the targeted market for caravans has a healthy consumer base. For the company’s New and sustainable Caravans, the client base may be utilized. In contrast, the new model must have traits like Opulent–Unique–Innovative and Expanded Internal Volume that is extremely important. Because of this, a value-driven costing system that would cost between around $7,000 and $8,000 per client would be appropriate for this company’s target market. These versions include the ultra-modern living model, the most cutting-edge technology-based model, and the environmentally friendly model. According to the findings of the study, the Glyndwr design team should focus on creating a popular model for the caravan industry based on the Ultra-Modern Living concept. The performance-to-maintenance ratio of present caravan models, including roomy resolutions, is determined to have a wide variety of characteristics. Glyndwr Design, on the other hand, must address present performance and maintenance difficulties to produce a new generation of towing caravans that will outperform all of its competitors. “Buccaneer Caravan, Avon, Bailey of Bristol – The Bailey Retreat, Swift Elegance Grande and The Eddies Buccaneer” are the most major opponents that the Glyndwr Design Company has to take seriously to beat them.
5.2 Limitation of the Study
Despite all the steps taken by this researcher to ensure that this experiment adhered to all regulations, there is no guarantee that the results will be accurate. Despite this, the project is not without its flaws. Students don’t have access to all of the libraries, so they can’t conduct extensive research. As a result, the researcher is restricted to using secondary sources to accomplish their study. As a student, the researcher was viewed as untrustworthy. Otherwise, the researcher was pressed for time. With additional time, the researcher should be able to look at data from various sources. However, the researcher had to finish the assignment by merely interviewing a restricted number of people. Aside from that, money played a significant role. For a long time, the researcher was unable to carry out the project. It is for this reason that the researcher has run into problems while working on this particular study. Consequently, these restrictions may present chances for future researchers.
5.3 Future Scope of the Research
To conclude, it can be argued that any interested researcher may continue this effort in the future or perform a new research project based on this. An area’s residents were interviewed for this project, and the results were used to create it. This means that future researchers may opt for a different location, which might lead to a different set of results. However, in light of the current researcher’s experience, the future researcher should aim to allocate greater funds to this endeavor. There are various rising states in which the future researcher can specialize.
5.4 Recommendations
The researcher has found certain problems with the data that need to be addressed right away. The study’s findings led to the formulation of a set of recommendations. Additional reasoning for each proposal has been given by the researcher.
- To that end, and in line with other recent community health research emphasizing the critical importance of staying active as we age, an expansion of this research to examine whether or not this lifestyle contributes significantly to the long-term good health and well-being of older adults who go camping is recommended.
- There are complaints from consumers who own Buccaneer Caravan, Avon, Bailey of Bristol’s “Bailey Retreat,” Swift Elegance Grande, and The Elddis Buccaneer models that their refrigerators aren’t performing as well as they’d hoped.
- For the Glyndwr Design Team that has to focus on the cost of towing Caravan, it can be suggested Value-driven costing, as demonstrated, is the most popular and successful product and service costing technique. Because of this, Glyndwr designers must create strategy beads based on costing value-driven systems. An additional conclusion drawn from this study is the estimated price range of $70 to USD 80 thousand for the vehicle itself.
- On the other hand, a towing Caravan’s most sought-after attributes are a low cost and a large interior space. As a result, the Glyndwr Design Team must take into account all aspects of their upcoming towing caravan. Marketers today are focusing on ultra-modern living models like the one based on cutting-edge technology and the sustainable ones. Because ultra-modern living models are so popular in the national and worldwide caravan industry, Glyndwr Team can embrace this style and get an additional competitive edge.
