Digital disruption is based on a transformation that occurs when new digital technology as well as business models impact the value proposition of existing services and products. Disruption mainly happens for an organisation to change the ways that operate in staying competitive and relevant. Adidas is focused on a multinational corporation that manufactures clothing, shoes, and accessories in its operating market. The purpose of this research is to analyse the impact of digital transformation on Adidas in achieving goals in the next five years. This report explains necessary information about a change in the workplace and leadership that helps to manage the overall activities of a business in the international market (Cichy and Rass, 2019).
Task 1: Change Analysis Proposal
Introduction of chosen organisation and activities of a business
This study is concentrated on Adidas’ business activities which are focused on multinational corporations that design and manufacture shoes for sports, running shoes with different accessories, clothing, and many more based on customer requirements. A business needs to handle digital transformation to manage the better performance of workers to handle change management in their business. “Adidas AG is based on a German multinational corporation that was founded on 18 August 1949, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria” (Adidas, 2022). This business is focused on a larger sports server-based manufacturer in Europe and has a better reputation in the international market which contains good sales and marketing opportunities for this business (Cimini et al. 2020). The biggest competitor of this business is Nike in the international market and this business contains the second largest in the world. In the present time, businesses are needed to develop their technological innovation and advancement to handle customer requirements more significantly.
Key areas of Adidas that are impacted by digital disruption
Digital technology and advancement play a crucial role in handling a business process and activities are needed to handle in the context of Adidas’ business. As discussed by Chang et al. (2020), there are often some key areas such as customers’ needs understanding, development of workers’ skills and managing the overall performance of the business which are possible to enhance through digital disruptions. This organisation is planning to sell their products based on digital mediums with 2015 that are needed to handle technology advancement. In achieving these business goals, Technical expertise and a team are needed to increase who can handle the activities to maintain online activities. “In 2021, Adidas hired 1,000 tech experts and digital talents that helped to achieve their goals related to digital management” (Intelligentautomation, 2022). The performance of Adidas is needed to generate more accurate ways with technologies that help these technical experts to handle their customer satisfaction with managing their internal working process. This organisation has planned to implement AIT (Adidas innovation team) to handle its online selling procedure development (Adidas, 2022). There is also a need to implement advanced technology, such as AI, machine learning and others that help to ensure digitalisation for this business.
Justification with digital transformation objectives that needed to be achieved by Adidas in the next 5 years
The main strategic focus of Adidas contains customer experiences analysis that pursues boundaries and increases brave credibility which contains better growth (Adidas-group, 2022). In the next 5 years, this business can achieve its goals related to technology and innovation implementation to handle e-commerce sites for selling their product directly based on online mediums. Along with the implementation of technology and digital transformation, it is possible to develop the manufacturing process of Adidas products that contain better quality products to generate better engagement and motivation of customers in purchasing their products (Piontek, 2022).
Task 2: Data and Decision Process
Propose technologies for organisations to detect changes
Adidas’ business and products have a good reputation in the international market that is needed to manage developing quality and deliver services to handle consumer attractions. For the development of strategic ways, it is required to manage the experiences of customers which contain growth to manage innovation. This business is needed to implement AI technology to handle smart systems for both manufacturing and sales processes based on online media with minimal input. There is a need to detect required changes for Adidas to manage its goal based on online sales process maintenance (George et al. 2021). This business is also needed to implement CRM software that helps to analyse customer requirements so the business helps the opportunity to analyse their customer needs. A help in managing online services based on the optimization of product, inventory and other requirements which helps to manage the competitiveness of this business with their competitors also in the international market.
Digital systems to make decisions faster
Adidas business is focused on changes and agility development in their business in developing speed throughout the entire valuation management process. It helps to manage the experience of their customer which contains sustainability for this business (Rosin et al. 2020). Implementation of the business agility model in Adidas helps to handle the digitalization process with handling hyper-awareness process and execution to develop a proper decision-making process. Along with this model, knowledge development has been obtained to control the monitoring and detection of changing environments to maintain business processes.

This model helped to take faster execution processes with effective decisions that helped to manage Adidas. It helps to manage product quality by developing manufacturing processes and developing better services. As discussed by Karimi and Walter (2021), based on this strategy and changes, this business can contain features of effective products based on their customer requirement that generate better satisfaction of customers.
Conclusion
In this study, the knowledge based on leading an organisation with digital disruptions helps to manage business working activities and technology that has been obtained in the context of Adidas business. In this context, they needed to implement some technology such as AI, machine learning, and advanced and automated systems which help to maintain the overall business activities of Adidas. Along with the business agility model, it is possible to adopt Adidas businesses to handle their situation which helps to manage predetermined goals also. It can conclude that along with the Adidas multinational corporation technology implementation, it is possible to handle digital disruptions in this business which contain better growth in future.
