Introduction
The essay focuses on the current situation in terms of the political climate so that better quality care can be established in terms of UK healthcare. However, alignment will also help in developing core opportunities so that better evidence can be generated in terms of clinical governance in order to examine a better healthcare system. As per the analysis it has been also brought to notice that it has helped in providing better evidence of clinical governance so that better public access can be attained. However, it has been also evaluated that the study is also highly accountable for providing better quality work and care to the patients in order to establish a better healthcare system. There are several approaches that will be focused on in this assignment and the study also relies upon the core aspects so that a better structure can be designed. Hence, it will contribute towards better clinical governance and help to meet the core objectives of the study as well.
Main Body
The social and political context
Political
The major focus has been laid on the political and social factors that have negatively affected the business operations of the company. Hence, in some cases, it has been evaluated that the healthcare system has also started implementing necessary tax legislation and employment regulations so that all classes of society can attain equal care (Walker et al. 2020). These are considered some of the core elements based on which better business productivity in terms of healthcare is designed. Taking the current scenario into consideration it has been evaluated that the economic growth of the country has slowed down. However, it can also be stated that there are several political factors as well that have negatively affected the NHS. Brexit uncertainties are the major causes due to which the NHS and its operations have been drastically affected. Along with that, it has been evaluated by the economic downtown and Austerity measures.
However, it can also be stated that it has attained huge consequences on society due to which the working operation of MHS has been also affected (Wilson et al. 2021). There were several uncertainties about the medication and the equipment that will be brought to the UK so that better and quality care can be provided to the patients. The population is rising in the country, where “75.3% of men and 75.7% of women” has been recorded as the total data of the country (Turro et al. 2020). As per the current data, it has been also evaluated that the central administration of the country, has set a definite budget for “NHS England in 2022/23”, which has been set up at “£608 million”. The government has come up with necessary strategies so that mass awareness can also be attained. The government has also come up with several programs that have deeply focused to provide quality care to the patients and corporate priorities due to which the potential funding developed is “£2.5 billion”. There are many cases where it has been evaluated that due to clinical negligence there have been many consequences due to which the care quality of the patient has a degree (Turro et al. 2020). The current research has also shown that the major health issues that have been found in the UK are “heart diseases, cancer and diabetes”. Perhaps, there has been a serious issue as well where it has been evaluated that the professionals from the European countries have also started developing high concern so that better workforce from the NHS is developed and the results derived are much stricter so that better living conditions of the people can be developed.
Clinical governance is a critical system in the NHS that is generally considered accountable for improving the quality of care and safeguarding the patients. Hence, it can also be stated that through this better environment is created due to which the country is now able to attain Clinical excellence in the health department. Due to limited healthcare workers and a huge population, the healthcare system of the country is failing to establish quality services for their patients (Turro et al. 2020). The concept of Clinical governance has been established in the year 1997 so that better healthcare service scans are provided to the people of the UK. The main agenda for clinical governance was to ensure quality and equality are attained in the healthcare system (Stark et al. 2019). Taking the current scenario into consideration it can also be stated that there is inequality among the people of Britain. However, it also responds to the current failures that have been attained by the NHS due to which the NHS standard has dropped down. Hence, these factors and political context include the “high mortality rate” found in the children that are basically undergoing heart surgery at the leading hospitals in Britain.
Hence, it can also be stated that there are several ways through which better clinical governance can be established in the country in order to attain better quality care for patients. Through this process, the healthcare system can ensure a continuous drive in attaining improvement so that social care and health standards can be attained (Panchet al. 2019). The data has also shown, that lifestyle issues are also considered as the severe factors due to which there are health issues in the people. The current focus has been also laid on the awareness program by sing several promotional tools. Through this, the healthcare system is trying to create necessary facilities so that people can be made aware.
Along with that, it can also be stated that “HIV/AIDS” has highly contributed towards increasing the expenditure of both private and public sectors. However, it may divert the potential sources so that a high level of access and core care can be generated. Hence, it generally adds more mental stress on the patients due to which they start attaining depression and anxiety in themselves (Narasimhan et al. 2019). The government of the UK has developed an action plan so that new strategies can be developed in preventing the expansion and improvement of the disease drawbacks. “HIV combination prevention activities” have also played a crucial role in the healthcare system to provide quality care to the patients who are suffering from HIV aids and its impact. “HIV Prevention Programmed over 2021-2024” has been designed by the UK government that ensures that expansion of thePrEPfor new countries can also be attained. However, a cycle is designed so that better monitoring can be established in order to provide quality care to the patients. These are some of the core remedies and facilities that can be implemented so that better quality care can be developed and designed in the country. Hence, this process is also very crucial as it has focused on developing effective healthcare strategies so that patients can easily attain quality care.
Hence, “Care Quality Commission (CQC” has focused on regulating the social and healthcare services in England. However, the commission also ensures that safety and quality care is being provided to dentists, hospitals, care homes, ambulances and mental hospitals. Along with that, the care can also be provided in the comfort of their own homes as well (Moynihan et al. 2021). The new study has also ranked the UK in the 13th positionworldwide for providing quality care to patients. Along with that, it has been also evaluated that NHS has also funded many services with the help of national taxation.
Social
The emphasis in this section has been laid upon the social factors and the culture that is affecting the healthcare system of the UK (Meng et al. 2019). Here, the major focus has been laid on the nagging population that is rising in the country. As per the current record, it has been evaluated that due to the increasing population the country is failing to provide quality care to patients. Along with that, it can also be stated that the presence of the pandemic has also slowed down the overall growth and patients are failing to attain quality care. Across the globe, it can be stated that the most common issue which is being faced by all the healthcare authorities and the healthcare system is the rising population rate (Maphumulo & Bhengu, 2019). Due to limited healthcare workers and a huge population, the healthcare system of the country is failing to establish quality services for their patients. Along with that, it can also be said that “High patient expectations’ ‘ has also contributed negatively to healthcare operations. Hence, the patient’s teams have better knowledge so that better treatment options can also be made available to them.
Taking the current scenario into consideration it can also be stated that there is inequality among the people of Britain. Along with that, it can also be stated that the study has also focused on attaining equality so that the health problems in the country can be prioritized. Identification of the harpers in the NHS is very essential so that better healthcare services can be provided. in particular, the concern is laid over the elderly as their immune system is weak and they have a higher tendency of developing diseases (Lal et al. 2021). Diseases such as diabetes are highly found in people. Apart from that, it can also be stated that the effects of HIV/AIDS, poverty level dropdown and many lifestyle issues have also started to have a negative impact on the quality of care that can be provided to the patients (Hammersley et al. 2019). Hence, it can also be stated that the quality of cafes in healthcare is very essential so that better health services can be attained in the healthcare system of the UK. Along with that, it can also be stated that population increase is also considered one of the major reasons why a crisis in quality care can be attained (Haldaneet al. 2021). These factors are generally based on the potential evidence so that better and professional education in terms of quality care can be provided to healthcare professionals. However, this process is also very crucial as it will ensure better health coverage. There are several factors that are based on the potential utility care that needs to be provided to the patients.
However, it is very essential to develop a huge focus on the clinical components in the hospital so that a high and best productivity rate can be attained (Chernichovsky, 2019). Along with that, it is very essential for the core head members of the healthcare system to initiate necessary strategies so that better healthcare plans can be developed. The focus should also be laid on the physical ambience of the hospital so that the patients can attain mental satisfaction as well. Amenities in the hospital should be kept up to date so that there are no barriers to the quality care being provided to the patients. “Expertise of the physicians” and the “behaviour of the staff” in the hospital s also highly prioritized so that quality care can be provided to the patients (Aiken et al. 2021). Lastly, it is very essential for the healthcare system to ensure that necessary strategies are developed so that mental satisfaction can also be provided to the patients. Hence, this process is also very crucial as it has focused on developing effective healthcare strategies so that patients can easily attain quality care.
The 2 or 3 components of Clinical Governance
Patient Focus, Public Involvement (PFPI)
Patient focus and involvement refer to PFPI. It shows the two individual ways that people can participate in the UK healthcare process.
Patient focus means how the UK government provides health care treatment or services to the patient who needs better and improvedservices from health care (Abou Hashish & Fargally, 2018). Patient focus is all about the daily interactions between the patient party and staff for a better experience or improving the health care system of the UK health care system.
Public involvement is something in which the decision of the people matters. The decision about how to design the healthcare system, and what will need to improve in the UK healthcare system is an important component of clinical governance in the UK (Guan, (2019).and it is also important for public involvement people to take part in planning approaches for healthcare organizations.
Framework for NHS staff the framework is a learning process where NHS staff can do their practice development in PFPI. This process helps to learn the essential knowledge, skills, and attitude of the NHS staff all over the UK. The agenda of PFPI is to use it as an instrument to guide staff to give training and proper education for UK clinical governance. In the process of a framework, an NHS staff can do their improvement and development in the UK healthcare sector.
Need to work on developments of patient focus and public involvement to make sure that all programs and all actions which are newly taken by the health service of the UK government are nicely done by the NHS staff for giving a better experience to the people who come for the treatment.
People’s involvement in PFPI as the national standard for community engagement helps to develop the relationship between the community and the organization that is delivering the public services (Hyre et al.2019). Anyone who has been in health service before can give suggestions and share their opinion with the organizer action to improve the clinical opportunities for that health organization. A person who also gets the health service before those people know better about the organization’s opportunities those people can share their previous experience with the organization if the previous experience was not good u can suggest improving the quality of the service which they are giving or if the service quality was good then a person can share their opinion to better the service which is the organization gives to their clients. By involving yourself a person can get more knowledge about the organization’s rules and which policy they will take for improving their health care service system and the facilities of the organization.
A person can get involved and provide valuable feedback on the clinical service to the organization and need to ask the perspective of the patient about the health care system and an integrated joint board locality planning group.
Patient safety
The most important rule of a health service is to take a special lookout n about patient safety. It is a disciplinary system of a healthcare organization to ensure that has no harmful steps cannot be taken by the organization’s authority and to reduce the chances of risk f the patient during the healthcare services.
The key fact of patient safety is so important because by any chance due to wrong and unsafe treatment a patient can die or be disabled for the rest of their life, the burden of harm, etc.
5 ways to improve patient safety one uses monitoring technology, two make sure the patients know about the treatment, three follow the proper safety measures, and four verify all medical procedures (Otha et al. 2021). And the last is to promote a team atmosphere.
Use Monitoring technology because every health care worker uses it to deal with many patients at a time and every patient has also different medication as per their health condition .so the health workers need to under the monitoring process and verify that they always follow and take the correct procedure for the patients. ensures that the health workers keep in touch with every patient.
Make sure the patients know about the treatment because a health organization is not responsible for the safety of the patient. the patient also needs to take self-healthcare to prevent any error or risk in the treatment process that does not mean that the patient should have a wide amount of knowledge about the procedure of the treatment (Rickwood et al. 2019). there is a negative point for this step also if a patient has a high level of knowledge about the treatment, then they can go as per their opinion it may occur risk.
Following the proper safety measures, health workers need to maintain the proper safety measure for the safety of the patient. the staff should wash their hand by using sanitary lotions because this is one of the best ways to prevent the spreading of infections and germs. wearing a mask and gloves and wearing the proper dress is very important for maintaining the proper safety measure.
Verify all medical procedureswhich are briefly discussed above. Asper some case history there are some glitches in the treatment process. That is why After all the essential steps are taken for a patient’s treatment, a proper verification procedure needs to be done . verify the step in detail. Health workers should have verified the timing of the dose of medicines and ensured that the safety measures are properly done.
To promote a team atmosphere the staff of the organization should work as a team because each staff of the health organization is responsible for patient safety. If the staff of an organization work as a team then there leads to a big difference in a hospital environment. A health organization can prevent all the risk factors regarding patient safety if the staff of the organization is honest and hard worker and most importantly teamwork.
Clinical effectiveness
Clinical effectiveness indicates the sustainable treatment process of the patients incorporating such effective clinical techniques. The components intend to deserve the best healthcare services to the patient which enhances the whole clinical team’s successful delivery. The monitoring, controlling cycle, and inspection procedures can provide effective outcomes to support the clinical process of receiving the best clinical treatment services through the refreshment and regeneration of the patient’s health condition. The healthcare service providers have a vital role to support clinical practices by upgrading their skulls resulting in the patients can achieve relief through the treatment (Rajapaksha et al. 2021). Patient safety indicators and productivity measurement can be useful to define the abilities of health professionals. In this regard, the interruption of the social and political climate of the UK supports the growth of the healthcare sectors to achieve standard clinical services. The engagement between patients and the health service providers can be valuable to serve the quality clinical results that are observed through the progression of the Uk healthcare sectors.
On another side, clinical governance can serve the standard services by highlighting the clinical practice issues and declining the clinical vagueness to develop the standard care services. In this way, the Uk healthcare organization has improved their services to receive the best clinical support enhancing the rigid rates of wellness of the patients. Similarly. the political and social climate influence the track of clinical development to enhance the way of receiving the best patient care services and providing the assurance of the patient’s safety (Herath et al. 2021). Meanwhile, the healthcare service providers’ safety is another essential component that measures through the function of other clinical services provider activities. It depends on the management capabilities to serve the best clinical practice services to the healthcare providers developing the patient treatment procedures.
In this prospect, educational training and maintenance of ethical factors are the essential approaches to defining sustainable clinical practices to support the healthcare sector in accepting the best services to refill the patients. In this way, the components of clinical effectiveness provide assurances of the sustainability of the healthcare sectors receiving the best political and social values through establishing the core strategies and technologies related to patient care and safety to enhance the treatment procedures and the best results (Chen et al. 2021). The risk factors also address through the appropriate alignments of the clinical governance practices to estimate the best values through the clinical effectiveness approaches.
Apart from that, the clinical practices are critically monitored through the inspection capabilities of the clinical governance. Besides, clinical effectiveness is empowered through providing the best treatment services to the infected patients as well as the incorporation of the innovative care process increasing the ratings of wellness in the UK (Sanjeewa et al. 2021). Moreover, strict clinical governance can serve effective results to support the clinical practices as well as the healthcare services providers’ practices. Besides, it adopts sustainable approaches to ensure the capabilities of the management group balancing the equation with the patients and healthcare services providers respectively.
Conclusion
Hence, it can also be concluded that the healthcare system of the Uk should ensure that better strategies are developed so that high concern over quality can be attained. There are many cases where it has been evaluated that due to clinical negligence there have been many consequences due to which the care quality of the patient has a degree. Hence, the healthcare system should be focused and concerned with care so that all patients can attain equal care and quality. There are several consumers and healthcare professionals which have started focusing on developing many strategies and facilities so that a better healthcare system can be established in the country. There are several administrators in charge of the government as well that are dedicatedly focusing towards developing a better strategy for attaining sustainability as well.
