Introduction
Personal effectiveness is the process of getting the best out of yourself, personal effectiveness ensures that individuals utilize all of their energy, skills and motivation to develop and reach the goals that are being set out for themselves (Heinonen & Nissen-Lie, 2020). Skills that individuals build among themselves to grow personal effectiveness among themselves comprise determination, self-confidence, persistence, managing stress and problem-solving skills (Covey, 2020). Personal effectiveness for the leaders benefits them in executing the actions in a systematic and harmonized manner contributing to its overall growth. Leaders grow skills of personal effectiveness because it assists them in managing their responsibilities and systematically aligning or organising them. Task one of the projects explains about CEO genome project that explains how diverse business leaders establish or lack key skills or behaviours related to personal effectiveness. CEO Genome Project explains the behaviour of leaders and their effectiveness towards carrying out activities and achieving organisational goals. Task two of the report will be examining about the role of social media platforms in learnings that help individuals in gathering knowledge and use it to develop their personal and professional skill sets. The role of social media in developing learning for the professional development of the leaders will also be examined benefiting them in acquiring knowledge and skills that contribute to their overall growth. The effectiveness of social media platforms in providing learning opportunities to people and building their effectiveness will be subsequently discussed in the report. Self-assessment analysis will also be undermined in this report helping in identifying the individual strength and weaknesses.
Task 1
Using the CEO Genome Project ONLY, assess how different business leaders demonstrate or lack key skills or behaviours of personal effectiveness
CEO Genome projects are being undertaken by the leaders to access their leadership skills and traits so that they can positively contribute towards organisational development (Ceogenome, 2023). Undertaking the CEO Genome project benefits the leaders in taking faster decisions with convictions helping them positively contribute towards an organisational decision. The CEO genome project also helps the leaders in reaching out to stakeholders and maintaining positive relations with them along with helping them in bringing them on board to maintain positive relationships with them and contribute towards their overall development (Hbr, 2022). Undertaking the genome project also benefits the leaders in being highly adaptable to change making it easier for them to comply with the changing nature of business so that better results and positive growth can be achieved. Leaders being highly effective and efficient makes it easier for them in producing reliable and predictable results that benefit in positively contributing towards the overall performance of the business establishment (Ceogenome, 2023). Examining the CEO genome project, it is being determined that the qualities that leaders need to develop among themselves to be effective leaders comprise confident decision-making, building a positive relationship with the stakeholders, building a positive reputation and adaptability to change.

The test result of the CEO Genome project explains the strongest essential behaviour of the leaders that are being undertaken by them that being including adapt, architects and relaters. The behaviour skills of leaders comprising of adapters make the leaders comply with the organisations effectively to determine the changing market desires in an agile way and by regulating their leadership style. Transformational leaders are one who readily complies with organisational change and aims towards performing activities in an organised and systematic manner to accomplish their goals (Asbari, 2020). Jeff Bezos as a transformational leader quickly adapts to the situation and needs of circumstances that assist him in undertaking decisions that contribute towards organisational development. Jeff Bezos as transformational leadership style has permitted him in creating a customer-driven environment at Amazon by distributing his workforce into small teams to make them perform the task to accomplish goals (Gradinaru, et al., 2020). Transformational leadership traits of Jeff Bezos also enable him in making the employees focused towards different tasks and problems and improve communication among the employees so that they can accomplish the organisational goals (Eliyana & Ma’arif, 2019). Transformational leaders provide training and workshops to the employees to make them adapt to the changing environment so that they can deliver their best results.
The result also shows the leadership behaviour of architects that delivers reliable and architecting reputable systems into the organisation to support reliable delivery. Visionary leaders are the one who holds the traits of architects and focuses towards delivering the best result that positively contributes towards organisational development (Mascareño, et al., 2020). Visionary leaders within the organisation aim to build a culture of innovation, they are the natural born problem solver and rely on abstract thinking to imagine likelihoods that yield the best result. Steve jobs is an example of a visionary leader as he was passionate, open-minded and creative (Hijjawi, 2021). His architectural behaviour enabled him in stirring forward momentum and making a culture of innovation that help Apple in growing (Places journal, 2013). As an architect, Steve Jobs inspired the design of the iPhone which turned out to be revolutionary in the global smartphone industry. He developed the design with the help of cutting-edge technology helping in positioning it as a premium product among their customers as a result of which it helped Apple in earning a high brand reputation in the global smartphone market (Forbes, 2023). He also inspired the team members to develop the skills of an architect so that they can come up with new ideas and suggestions that might help Apple in developing a groundbreaking product benefiting the brand in being most valued among their target customers.
Examining the test result of the CEO Genome project, it has been identified that the strongest behaviour of leaders is relaters. Relators are thoughtful about managing the stakeholder’s relationship in terms of reaching out to broader objectives that benefit them in achieving the best results contributing towards the overall growth of the organisation. Servant leadership style rightfully aligns with the behaviour of relaters as they focus towards maintaining positive relations with the stakeholders so that better results can be accomplished (Najam & Mustamil, 2020). Servant leaders holding the behaviour of relaters looks to build deep relationship and trust among the stakeholders along with encouraging greater ownership and responsibility. Leaders having the behaviour of relaters encourages innovation, curiosity and creativity that assist in accomplishing goals by maintaining high effectiveness and efficiencies (Hai & Van, 2021). Howard Schultz had the behaviour of relaters and servant leadership style enabled him in guiding and mentoring their employees to add value to their corporation that contributing towards building strong organisational relationships (Starbucks, 2023). Level of communication among the shareholders such as employees, investors and customers are being developed to encourage them in building relationships and developing creativity to accomplish organisational success.
Task 2
Describe the role of social media platforms in learning
Social media platforms help in promoting learning that being including self-directed learning, which helps leaders and employees to search for answers and enables them in making decisions independently. Social media reinforced in a classroom setting helps in producing better learning outcomes and critical awareness. The use of social media platforms in learning helps students, teachers and parents to access more useful evidence to associate with the learning groups and other educational systems that help in making education suitable (Kolhar, et al., 2021). Social network tools make it easier for students and institutions with multiple opportunities to develop overall learning methods. Social media networks help in sharing knowledge and growing interaction among each other so that better activities can be performed accordingly to accomplish organisational goals. Social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit are being used by employees and leaders to share links, text, videos and documents with each other’s help them in acquiring better knowledge and learning (Ansari & Khan, 2020). Social media platform benefits in developing connections for careers as it helps employees and leaders to make learning more interactive and inclusive. Social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn are being used to hold live sessions and offer extended support to the employees and leaders thereby helping them in growing their personal and professional skill sets (Slim & Hafedh, 2019). Organisations and educational institutions create groups using social media platforms that help them in interacting with the employees and students to provide better knowledge and learning.
Critically evaluate the ability of social media platforms to enhance learning for professional development
Social media platforms are being used to enhance learning for professional development that benefits the leaders and employees working within the organisation to contribute towards organisational development. Social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Reddit help in building relationships outside the classroom setting, it also helps in driving admissions and strengthening public relations that contribute towards professional development (Goodyear, et al., 2019). Employees connecting through the social media platform enables the institutions in resolving grievances so that better work activities can be performed to accomplish goals. Social media platforms in organisation help in enhancing learning for professional development among the employees as it provides a more smooth and direct communication tool between the employees, leaders and management that help in exchanging ideas and suggestions along with resolving any form of grievance (Hortigüela-Alcalá, et al., 2019). Social media used in organisational settings allows for more e-learning opportunities for the employees that help in acquiring knowledge and learning contributing to their skill development (Muninger, et al., 2019). As remote jobs are becoming increasingly popular social media platform provides online classes to employees working remotely that enables them in learning about the organisational values, ethics and corporate governance practices that help the employees in growing their professional development along with contributing towards achieving the organisational goals in time.
Poor use of social media platforms in the organisation distracts the employees from performing their responsibilities in an organised and coordinated manner. Spending a lot of time on social media decreases the effectiveness of employees and fails them in accomplishing their responsibilities which affects the overall organisational effectiveness (Leidner, et al., 2020). Misuse of social media affects the cognitive and learning ability of the employees as they fail to take responsible decisions and read the situation properly which makes it challenging for them in being responsible employees and grow their professional development. Social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp are being used to perform live streams of the lectures and host discussions (Olsson & Bernhard, 2021). Using the Facebook page to broadcast updates and alerts that help the employees in learning about the current activities within the organisation and develop their skills accordingly to accomplish the goals and contribute towards organisational development.

Personal SWOT Analysis
Strength
My strength is that I am a good communicator which makes it easier for me to develop relationships with my team members helping me in exchanging ideas and thoughts among each other (Benzaghta, et al., 2021). Being a good communicator also allows me to make my viewpoints clear in front of others which increases my value among the team.
Weakness
My weakness is I lack the skills of managing time and have poor negotiation skills which make it difficult for me to manage my activities on time and negotiate with clients. Poor time management makes it challenging for me to present results on time (Vlados, 2019). Whereas, my poor negotiation skills of mine also make it challenging for me to understand the client’s perspective and manage their emotions.
Opportunities
Opportunities that lie in front of me are learning about situational-based thinking and analytical skills that will be helping in resolving issues and determining the best possible solution that help me in achieving the desired results (Quezada, et al., 2019). Situational-based thinking also allows me to analyse a particular situation and then devise strategies accordingly. Whereas, evolving analytical skills will be benefiting me in determining solutions to numerous problems and making actual decisions.
Threat
The threat that I face while growing my effectiveness is a lack of proper resources making it challenging for me in acquiring the best knowledge that contributes to my overall development. I have also noticed that failing to accomplish my personal goals in time also turns out to be a threat to me as a result which decreases my ability to grow my skills and competencies.
Based on the results of your self-assessment, analyse methods for enhancing your effectiveness using social media platforms in a professional environment
The analysis of self-assessment has helped me in identifying the limitations that I am facing making it difficult for me to perform the activities and accomplish goals that contribute towards my personal and professional development. Social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Reddit help me grow my effectiveness such as it allows me in taking courses and joining regular classes and lecturers that assist me in improving my listening skills (Farrell, 2020). During the seminars and lectures, I am also told to manage my time efficiently by prioritizing my activities accordingly and then performing them subsequently which aids me in acquiring knowledge and learning contributing to my effectiveness. Growing my time management skills and listening skills also benefits me in listening to the lectures helping me in growing my listening skills and also helping in growing my decision-making abilities (Thompson & Thompson, 2023). LinkedIn is a social media platform that helps me in acquiring resources for learning to help me in gathering useful information that assists me in applying it in practical life that contributes towards my professional development. Social media platform helps me in developing my professional environment by creating a class blog for discussions that allows me and other as well to discuss their ideas and share their knowledges that assist me in growing my thinking and knowledge contributing towards my personal development (Rolfe & Freshwater, 2020). Social media also allows me to share links and documents with my collogues that help me in growing my knowledge through peer-peer learning a result which positively contributes towards my overall development.
Conclusion
The overall analysis of the report has explained the test result of the CEO Genome project that explained the behaviours of the leaders such as adapters, architects and relaters. Examples of different leaders associated with the identified behaviours have been explained within the report. The skills and behaviours of the employees helped them in managing the employees and contributing towards organisational development. Assessment of task two has explained the role of social media platforms in learning that help in growing skills and easy access to learning materials. Moreover, social media platforms in enhancing learning for professional development have also been explained within the report. YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit assist the employees in accessing information and documenting information for future usage. Task three explained self-assessment through SWOT analysis and analysing the methods for growing personal effectiveness using social media in a professional environment. The main context of the report was to develop professional effectiveness through the help of social media platforms.
