Question 3
Innovation is the most important objective to run a business successfully. There are certain advantages to using innovation in business. These include:
Profit maximization: Using innovation in the business process reduces the rate of error and increases productivity. This leads to hiring benefit of the organization from the product and thereby increases the profit of the organization (Wright et al., 2019).
Reputation: With the constant upgrade in the use of innovation within an organization, there is also an increase in improving the productivity of the organization (Grol and Wensing, 2020). The organization games competitive advantage, and the competitors cannot meet with the productivity of the organization. This, on the other hand, helps in improving the reputation of the organization to the customers and attracting them towards the organization.
Scope of partnership: There several organizations who cannot afford regular innovation because it requires a huge investment. However, when an organization is constantly innovating its processes, the other organizations get attracted and always look for an opportunity for partnership (Sivam et al., 2019).
However, there are certain drawbacks of innovation in business.
Cost: Innovation is a costly process and is not always budgeting friendly. It requires several trials before innovating a product. It becomes too costly for several organizations, and hence they cannot afford it (Richard et al., 2019).
Time: Innovation is a time-consuming process and requires a lot of time to be implemented. It also takes a long time in executing innovation within the business process.
Risk: There are major risks that are related to implementing innovation within the business process. The major risk includes the failure of a product where the organization has usually invested a lot. In such situations, the products that feel become a huge problem for the organization as the money that is invested in the product gets stuck (Lokuge and Sedera, 2020).
To mitigate the problems that are stated in the assignment regarding a human resource, there are several solutions that organizations can take. These solutions work for more than ten years, and their effects can also be seen. Envision of using the solutions in 2030 have been discussed below:
Chat bots: Chat bots are the most useful innovation in the sector of alternative Intelligence. Chatbots help in providing customer service 24×7 with a human-like experience. While managing clients who are critical, or are facing serious challenges, the chatbots who are already program to with various solutions can provide them with the answers that they are looking for.
All this can happen at any point of time despite any situation. Using chatbots will reduce human error while dealing with clients and also increase efficiency.
It will help in developing human relationships and therefore help the human resource management to focus on other services that they can provide to the customers. They can leave the trouble of answering or attaining customers who are online and can engage themselves in vital decision-making processes of the organization. Chatbots help in replacing repetitive tasks, and therefore, this will increase the efficiency of human labour as their work of replying the clients shall be mitigated.
Monitoring the online behaviour of customers: Several organizations require the data to understand the behaviour of the customers. With the increase in the customer base and the total number of customers who purchase and Organization daily, it is impossible for humans to keep in track the expected behaviour of the customers.
Using Artificial Intelligence in this area will help in analyzing the data when the customer’s visit the websites of the organizations. This will improve the online experience of the customers as the organizations would be aware of what the customers are looking for and can provide them with better deals according to theirs. With the use of AI, the organization can also perform customer segmentation and based on their choices, provide the solutions that they are looking for.
This will help the human resource management of the organization with lesser efforts on analyzing the behaviour of the customers. Instead, they can focus more on product development that can meet the expectations of the customers (Kohli and Melville, 2019).
Conclusion
The use of artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management is a significant change in the history of Management. Human resource management explains managing of humans; it becomes an odd idea to implement artificial Intelligence.
However, the fear of replacing human labour should not be encouraged with the use of alternative Intelligence in business processes.
This is so because implementing alternative Intelligence in the business will provide the employees of the organizations to take part in better deals of work like decision making. Implementing artificial Intelligence will save time, and the employees can focus on their skill development while artificial Intelligence will perform their work.
