7118SOH Evidence-based Practice and Research principles Assignment Sample 2023

1. Project Summary

The maintenance of ethical principles and appropriate treatment or diagnostic procedures for a successful recovery from urinary continence is important. The study will focus on analysing multiple aspects and consequences of clinical practices for diagnosis and treatment of stress urinary. The major focus area is analysing the benefits and associated risks of using AGREE II instruments for the diagnosis process. Improvement of treatment procedures associated with stress urinary in order to reduce disease burden is a prime focus area and intention of the study. Development of appropriate research methodology for creating potential innovative strategies to initiate a successful diagnosis process AGREES II is also targeted.

2. Project purpose

The purpose of this project is to identify characteristics of AGREE II instruments for a successful diagnosis of urinary problems for reduction of disease burden and improve the Healthcare Management process. The study intended towards understanding possible threats and taking required measures for successful treatment with this procedure by analysing multiple areas for the risk reduction process.

Research question:

Are AGREE II instruments appropriate and safe for urinary continence diagnosis and treatment procedures for early recovery?

3. Objectives/desire outcomes

  • To understand the capabilities and characteristics of AGREE II instrument for treating a person suffering from urinary issues
  • To identify a potential advantage and associated risks off diagnosis urinary problems implementing AGREE II instrument
  • To develop appropriate clinical practice guidelines for recommending medical professionals in the decision-making process towards using AGREE II instrument

From this research work understanding the associated circumstances and benefits of using AGREE II instrument for an increased success rate of recovering from urinary continence is a potential expected outcome. According to the view of Yao et al. (2017), the development of quality and appropriate guidance and recommendation for improving Healthcare practices is also expected.

4. Research design

Research philosophy

Positivism research philosophy will be used in this research work for analysing multiple characteristics and significance of AGREE II instrument from the development of clinical practices associated with the treatment of urinary problems. As influenced by Ruszczyński et al. (2021), consideration of positivism research philosophy will help in focusing on factual data that represent scientific evidence to understand the positive and negative outcomes of AGREE II instruments. This process will also help in the development of a complete understanding regarding the necessity of appropriate clinical practices guidance for treating urinary issues with the identification of appropriate instruments. In the words of Zhang et al. (2019), positivism research philosophy will help in maintaining transparency by implementing research principles and ethics appropriately.

Form of Methodology

Identification of appropriate methodology based on the research area is highly necessary for justifying research objectives and fulfilling desired outcomes. As influenced by Snyder (2019), the qualitative methodology will be implemented for analysing multiple areas and the impact of AGREE II instrument for diagnosing urinary problems. Based on qualitative methodology multiple clinical studies associated with the implementation of AGREE II instrument will be analysed based on the case study analysis framework. All the data will be collected from secondary sources by identifying appropriate databases such as medical journals and medical reports on urinary treatment. As argued by Mohajan (2018), consideration of qualitative approaches will help in analysing logical and evidence-based circumstances of implementing the instrument in order to ensure reduction of disease burden with successful treatment and diagnosis.

Data Collection method

The case study analysis method will be used for the data collection process by following secondary techniques. As influenced by Zangirolami-Raimundo, Echeimberg & Leone (2018), the PRISMA model will be implemented for the collection of appropriate cases relevant to the topic of implementing AGREE II instrument in the urinary continence diagnosis process. Four different stages of this model including identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion will be considered for identifying quality that can provide insight towards medical practices and clinical guidelines for using AGREE II instruments. Identification of quality cases that are highly relevant to selected topics is necessary for collecting quality data for intermediation and the development of key findings and conclusions. Consideration of the PRISMA model will help in identifying the most appropriate cases by analysing their eligibility, methodology and outcomes for contributing towards developing appropriate recommendations for using the instrument in the successful treatment of urinary problems (Basias & Pollalis, 2018).

Cluster sampling will be implemented for the selection of cases based on urinary treatment procedures. Based on cluster sampling, two categories of cases will be listed; cases using AGREE II instruments and cases using other methods. As influenced by Zangirolami-Raimundo, Echeimberg & Leone (2018), multiple cases will be selected from two categories in order to compare and contrast both the categories for understanding multiple aspects and consequences along with the benefit of the AGREE II instrument. Consideration of cluster sampling will help in the development of quality findings with appropriate evidence and medical records. Therefore, it will contribute to increasing the validity and reliability of the research findings and also help in creating potential future scope.

The study will focus on reviewing existing literature associated with clinical practices, urinary problems, and diagnosis process by using AGREE II instrument. As influenced by Basias & Pollalis, (2018), random sampling will be considered for selecting multiple journal articles regarding clinical practices and treatment of urinary continence from data sources including Google Scholar and ProQuest. In the words of Zhang et al. (2019), a number of journal articles will be selected from the database based on research objectives in order to maintain boundaries and limitations of the research functional area and literature discussion process. Thematic analysis method along with conceptual and theoretical framework will be the major literature search strategy for this research work in order to understand existence work by previous research on AGREE II instruments. According to the view of Zangirolami-Raimundo, Echeimberg & Leone (2018), a conceptual Framework will be used in the literature search strategy for the representation of relationships between dependent and independent variables and to understand available literature effectively. The theoretical framework will be used for representing the relationship between medical theoretical practices and urinary treatment procedures for identifying risk and helping in the decision making process.
