7COM1076 Wireless Mobile and Multimedia Networking

Introduction

In this vast world of technology, wireless mobile networks are the advanced level networking system that can be used in any communication system to transmit data from server to client. The visualization of the constructed topologies has been done concurrently with the construction of the TCP protocol in this project. This is accomplished through the use of the mininet architecture and the Python programming language.

Modeling

Mininet may be applied to rapidly establish a realistic artificial network on a computer by executing a genuine kernel, switch, and custom program code (Trestian et al. 2018). Mininet enables the developer to easily develop, connect with, configure, and distribute a software-defined network (SDN) prototype to replicate Openflow network architecture. To implement this task, the mininet platform and python script are used.

Result

This section might discuss the software’s design and implementation. This section might also include a discussion of the output and end outcome. In this result part, the pingall and links code are implemented using mininet software.

Analysis

This section can discuss and analyze all the outputs and their topologies of TCP connections. In this part, the TCP connection between server and client is analyzed (Zhang et al. 2018). The TCP packets, TCP flagged, and TCP traffic is also analyzed in this section. Along with the construction of the TCP connection, the built topologies are illustrated. [Referred to Appendix 1]

In the above image, it is clearly seen that switches and topologies are implemented using python script (Zhang et al. 2018). In this list, the switches and the host are added. The data center, where data is exchanged between client and server, is being built in this task.

Conclusion

After completing all the points of this task, it is concluded that the TCP connection between the server and the client is established successfully. This whole task is completed using python script language along with the mininet software. A python script is also built to push the topology settings to the mininet wifi.
