 Introduction

In this twenty-first century, multimedia networking and wireless mobile is one of the most important and essential networking sections in the data transmission chapter. Wireless mobile network is such type of network where data can transmit sender to receiver via wireless mode. In this report, a topology is implemented using mininet software and also implements a UDP connection between server and client.

Modeling

Mininet is a program emulator that allows users to simulate vast networking on a virtual Computer. Mininet API is the environment in use here. Python is the programming language utilized here, in addition to the framework (Amjad et al. 2018). For implementing a UDP connection, the mininet software environment is used. And python script is used for designing the topologies and server-to-client connection.

Results

This section can describe the design and implementation part of this software. This section can also be discussed about the output and final result. In contrast to TCP, the user does not establish a link with the server and rather delivers a data packet.

Analysis

First, it is observed that the mininet package and module are imported, followed by the class being called. It can be seen that the topology is produced with the system in task 1. The hosts h1, h2, and h3 are being formed in the class (Mishra et al. 2018). Three hosts are being built in total. In addition to the hosts, six switches are being generated: s1, s2, s3, s4, s5, and s6. It is noticed that linkages have been established between hosts and switches. [Referred to Appendix 1]

Task 2 is the outcome of the addition and modification of deployments. Furthermore, the wireless controller is found to be employed for the link between the server and the client. An IP address is supplied, as well as the host’s port number, for this purpose.

Conclusion

After completing all the tasks, here it is concluded that the UDP connection between server end and client end is built successfully. And the data can transmit through this UDP connection from server to client. Also, a python script is implemented for utilized to push the topologies configuration towards the mininet wifi.
