In the case of the manufacturing industry, there are different types of product risks that take place. The development of the product is the key to the success of a manufacturing company. In the case of a new product, there are different types of functions are involved like the specification of the product, the standard of the product, etc. Structure management is also helpful for the development of the product; in this case, the management of structure plays an important role in the development. The launching of a new product in the market is not very easy; there are different types of risk factors are involved in it. So the management team has to take great responsibility for the market analysis for the new product. In this study, the FMEA analysis is taking place for the Rotex Company launching a new model of electric scooter.

2.0 Discussion

2.1 Analysis of the FMEA for a new product

In a manufacturing company, different types of risks have come due to cost estimation, quality of product, and team management. The reduction of those risks is also very much essential for the development. The FMEA tool is used the reduce different types of risk from any organization. This process analysis can analyze various types of failures of the manufacturing company Rotex. The quality of the parts of the product has to be very much efficient so the quality of the scooter will increase (Almannaa, et al 2021). Electric automobiles are very much demanded nowadays, because of their features. The cost of fuel is increasing daily basis so in this case, electric automobiles are too much appropriate. In the case of risk management, different types of functions are coming like the monitoring of risk, avoidance of risk, etc. The process of FMEA is divided into different types of steps:

  • FMEA prerequisites
  • Analysis of system structure
  • FMEA worksheet
  • Team review
  • Corrective actions

In the case of new productions, different types of concerns are come due to this. A huge competition is taking place in the global market, so the production of a new car with affordable cost is very much a crucial factor. The cost of new equipment is also an important concern of any type of manufacturing company (Bozzi, and Aguilera,2021). In the case of the development purpose of a manufacturing company, experience employees are most essential. The growth of the Rotex Company will increase if maximum experience workers are hired for the production sector. In this competitive world, the cost of automobiles has to be minimum but the quality has to be maximum, so the profit will be very much low. Balancing all factors is not so much easy for a manufacturing company.

2.2 Discussion of the “out-sourcing” or “in-house” production

The in-house type production is called sometimes classic production because all the activities are conducted from the same business. If the employees of the same company perform with time as well as effort then it will very much beneficial for any manufacturing company. There are different types of advantages are also take place in the in-house production. In this process, the whole team will work using a roof so the communication wills very much good. The maintenance of a project will be very much easier in the in-house process (Carrese, et al 2021). The communication between team members will improve due to this in-house process. At the end of the day, the deadline will meet and the flow of work will run very much smoothly.

The process of out-sourcing is one of those processes, where an industry hird employees for different types of operation. Nowadays the out-sourcing process is very much popular because it works in a wide range. If the internal team of an industry is weak, then the out-sourcing is very much beneficial. There are various types of advantages are also take place in the process of out-sourcing like, a unique person can hire from anywhere. In this process, work will be done independently, so it is a big advantage of any type of manufacturing company (Crum, and Brown,2019). In the case of a short-term project, out-sourcing is most useful. In this process, the management team has not conducted any types of training, so the cost of training is reduced by the manufacturing company. So the overall profit will increase using the out-sourcing of an industry. If any industry needs any type of expert in its industry, then outsourcing will be very much beneficial.

2.3 Value of engineering on the design of a new product

The value of engineering is used to reduce various types of costs from any manufacturing company. In the case of the design of an automobile like an electric scooter, the value of engineering is very much useful. Daily basis, technology is growing up, to compete with the global world, design is very important. The customers will be attracted by the design of the electric scooter. Value engineering can propose an existing product in the global market. If can reduce the overall manufacturing cost of a production company. The value of the product will increase due to the value engineering. The value of a product depends on the two types of elements (Field, and Jon, 2021). In the case of an electric scooter, the value of the product depends on the “function to cost”. The life cycle of a product depends on the quality of the product and the product quality sometimes depends on the cost. The value engineering, maintain and sometimes increase the product quality at a low cost.

A function ratio to cost indicates the product value can increase sometimes by improving the function of the product or cost decreasing. The cost is very much an essential factor and different types of functions are related to these functions like the production of electric scooters, the design of electric scooters, the maintenance and replacement. In the Rotex Company, value engineering is involved very carefully. In the Rotex manufacturing company, added value is created with the maximum function of the product at a low cost. In this process, low expensive materials are used in the electric scooter which reduces the overall manufacturing cost, so it will be very much beneficial for the Rotex Company (Glavić, et al 2021). The money of end customers will reduce due to this value engineering. In the case of the new design of a product or changing the design of a product, value engineering is very much useful. There are different types of parts reductions process that also take place in the Rotex company von the electric scooter. There are different types of new assemble processes that are also takes place in the manufacturing company.

2.4 Discuss all the risk of the electric scooter

In the case of electric scooters, various types of risk are involved due to the new technology. Sometimes new technologies are responsible for different types of risks in the manufacturing company Rotex. The Faults due to brakes, faults due to tires, sticky throttle, flawed baseboards, etc is responsible for the different types of risks. To reduce different types of risk from the Rotex manufacturing company, there are different types of maintenance is required like checking the quality of the battery, tightening the braking system of the electric scooter, flow of lubricating oil in each and every part of the electric scooter, tightening fasteners, etc (Glenn, et al 2020). The lubricating oil is essential in each and every moving part of the electric scooter.  The launching of a new product in the market is not very easy, there are different types of risk factors are involved in it. The quality of the parts of the product has to be very much efficient so the quality of the scooter will increase.

There are different types of risk reduction process is involved in the Rotex manufacturing company. The preventative maintenance is most essential for the electric scooter (Heumann, et al 2021). All the parts have to be genuine, so that any types of risks do not takes place in the productions system. Sometimes, due to new technologies, different types of risks generate in the electric automobiles. The risk mitigation process is also requiring reducing all types of manufacturing risk from the automobiles.

2.5 Development of the product for Rotex manufacturing company

Design analysis is a very important function for the electric scooter; the dynamic load also depends on the design of the electric scooter. The balance of the moped is also involved in the designing portions of the electric scooter. The different types of terrains are involved in the safety purpose. There are different types of 3-D modeling instruments are used in the design of the electric scooter. In the accurate design of the electric scooter of the Rotex Company, the fabricating process is used. There are various types of features are involved in the electric scooter, like the pad, Mirror, rectangular pattern, solid of multi-section, shaft, and rib (Moreau, et al 2020). In the case of adding materials of electric scooter normal part to cross-section area, the pad is used.  To create another body, in the opposite location of the rider of the reference plane the mirror is used. The rectangular pattern is used to make a duplicate to measure the linear direction in a rectangular way.

The model of the electric scooter can develop in the ANSYS software. There are different types of analysis that will be possible like load analysis. In the case of design, the weight of the electric scooter has to be less than 65 kg. The shaft part of the electric scooter is used to develop a cylindrical view of objects through the axis line. The rib is also an important part of the electric scooter; it is used to add different types of materials with the central curve and the sweeping profile. The Rotex Company is a multinational company so the model of its automobiles is also developed. There are different types of modern technologies are used in this company (Pandya, and Mehta, 2019). The electric scooter of this company is also very much modern. There are different types of analysis taking place, like design analysis, electricity consumption analysis, quality analysis, and so on. In the case of new products, there are different types of responsibilities are take place in the manufacturing company. The analysis of the market is also an important part of the new manufacturing company.

3.0 Conclusion

At the end of this research, it can be concluded that there are different types of factors are takes place in the case of new model automobiles. The electric scooter is very much beneficial for the environment as well as the user. The Rotex manufacturing company proposed an electric scooter. All the design analysis models and risk is discussed in this research. In the case of new products, various types of risks will take place. The proper maintenance of the electric scooters is the most essential factor. In the case of the development purpose of a manufacturing company, experience employees are most essential.  In the Rotex manufacturing company, added value is created with the maximum function of the product at a low cost. There are different types of modern technologies that are used to make the electric scooter very much modern. The design of automobiles is very much important to grip the attention of the customers. All the risk mitigation process is also describe in this research very careful and successfully. There are different types of tools are used to make this company and the product of the company very much smart. The value engineering also is used to make a modern design with a low cost. There are various types of cost reductions process that is also used in the research, and the multinational companies also use different types of strategies for the reduction of cost from any types of product.
