Literature Review

From the research of Del Carmen Rubio et al., (2013), it is determined that there is a vital role of the nano composite in the road construction because it increases the effectiveness of the road and make it more durable as compared to the without use of nano composite on the road construction. In the research of Fu et al., (2011), it is illustrated that there are different materials that are available in the market and use in the road construction but at the same time, the use of all these materials are not effective for the firms related to the road constructed as compared to the nano composite. In the same concern of this, from the research of Jamshidi et al., (2012), it is illustrated that asphalt mix also quite effective in the development of the road and the road construction. Experimental Design

There are two types of material are used to produce the base and modified binders in the laboratory. These materials are asphalt binder and Nanoparticles etc. The mixture of these components give rise to the base binder as this base proves to be effective for the construction industry. This base binder was 60/70 penetration grade and it is obtained from the Port Klang Factory in Malaysia. The combination of both the above material gives rise to the best Nanoparticles in the form of physical properties, temperature susceptibility, rotational viscosity, storage stability etc. At the same time, the Nano composite will also help in the emission of less toxic carbon component. Thus, the Nano composite plays an important role in the construction industry especially when it comes to road construction.

The sample preparation is prepared through melting the Al2O3 Nano particles. It is developed to produce the three modified asphalt binders. However, the asphalt was over-heated until it becomes the fluid as desired (140–150°C) and the Silverson high shear mixer is used to mix the material at constant temperature of 150 ± 1°C at 3000rpm for 60 min for ensuring the production of homogenous mixtures. Hence, this process creates the Nano particles.

In the views of Zhao et al. (2017), there are various significance with the experimental procedure are arise. These are the physical properties, temperature susceptibility, rotational viscosity, storage stability; Fourier infrared spectroscopy etc. from the testing of physical properties, the softening, durability and relevancy will be gained. Thus, the study shows that Nanoparticles are quite important for the construction companies.
