Learning outcomes form self-perception by attaining this session

During the entire session, I have learned about creativity and various problem-solving skills in regards to managing or being a leader in an organization in future times. In this regard, professors helped me to understand various structures of business or organization by showing recent business models, their strengths, activities, strategies to survive in market competition and profit competition.

As per my perception, these activities can help to develop entrepreneur skills, especially to form a start-up on my own. Professors also mentioned the brainstorming method, which is useful to innovate and bring creativity to make unique products. I have also learned that in this advanced age of technology how to use digital tools as a part of business, for instance, AI, augmented reality is useful.

These tools can save cost and time, as I can find ample time to create strategies to stay ahead in market competition. These tools also can recognize consumers’ demand and forecast future sales as well. In this session, I have also learned to think without any bias or make constructive assumptions about consumers’ demands. Additionally, this module helps me in finding my solution to unexpected problems and using pros and cons to implement a decision.

Method on understanding and organizing this task, between me and the group

The entire assignment and presentation were constructed minutely with proper system and structure. In this regard, me and group members. Primarily we divided the whole work into ‘input’, ‘throughput’ and ‘output’ formation. Here communication and group configuration were part of the input, as based on each member’s positive aspect the work was divided and several tools, such as communication apps were installed for cooperation.

Secondly, in throughput, there were various activities included. For instance, understanding and accepting the goal by everyone, commitment and openness in performing this task, making honest communication, necessity decision-making activities and other activities like agreeing, planning for next steps etc. Lastly evaluating task performance, whether these tasks have met criteria was established in output.

Positive and negative activities from the learning module

This module has helped me in developing various positive and effective skills. These can be mentioned below. These positive traits can help to understand the importance of creative things, the skill of problem-solving, leadership and managerial skill in Business or startups.

Forming and developing habits: Throughout this session, I have learned that developing and forming habits is important in business and entrepreneurial environments (Bouwman et al. 2019). This trait itself is a good phenomenon that can help to increase work efficiency, risk assessing and respond to criticism to compete with business competitors (Bouwman et al. 2019).

As per my perspective, I can develop various skills by habit formation, such as writing skills to send a good email, or enhance communication skills for my personal development. In this respect, building good habits within company ethics, such as weekly meetings, sharing and gathering feedback from clients and employees can create effective work as well (Bouwman et al. 2019).

Problem-solving skill: I find problem-solving skill is an important skill that a leader and managers must have to enhance their business efficiency.  In this regard, I think that problem solvers can judge, observe and act accordingly when a new kind of difficulty arises (Homayoun and Henriksen, 2018). In this regard, it can also help to build trust among employees, as well as investors and other stakeholders. toward myself or a leader.

I have also learned that having problem-solving skills can help to make decisions, based on previous knowledge and experience (Blomsma et al. 2019). As it directly mentioned in gathering potential knowledge of risk and problems to escalate my entrepreneurial ability (Blomsma et al. 2019).

Creativity: In this learning session I have learned that creativity itself is an independent phenomenon that can create effective strategies and add a positive aspect to problem-solving abilities (Harris and De Bruin, 2018). As per my realization, creativity allows us to develop innovative and new ideas as well as challenges in new ways based on traditional or old perceptions (Harris and De Bruin, 2018).

In this regard, creativity can help to think outside of the box. As per Sjödin et al. (2020), creativity and success are both connected and dependent on each other. Therefore, I think creativity on a task, especially a complex task, can provide a simpler way to perform this, which also can save time and money as well.

Managerial and Leadership skill: managerial and leadership skills are both important aspects as thesis units are the center of a business (Sjödin et al. 2020). In this entire class, I have learned that good management and leadership can create effective strategies, create good motivation amongst employees, as these can enhance the work productivity to achieve the organization’s goal (Laguía et al. 2019).

Additionally, good leadership skills can also inspire to do great and create good working ethics as employees can enjoy work-life balance and consumers can get satisfaction as per their needs and demands. Following up, Good managerial and leadership skills inspire others and prevent employees from doing wrong activities in an organization.

Whereas bad managerial and leadership skills cannot only hamper the working efficiency but create work stress, motivation amongst workers. This can also affect productivity and consumer dissatisfaction.

On the other hand, there are several things that I find as a negative trait in overall the lesson learning, such as-

Blending study method: As the situation was in a pandemic situation, there was the blended and online mode of studying as I am used to traditional or offline study in this regard.in addition to this, using technology as an online learning model, there were chances to fall in hacking, issues related to data security etc. Overall the learning session was enjoyable, as I have learned effective measurements that I can practically implement in my future.

Lack of student coordination due to pandemics: In online sessions, I find difficulties in coordination with my teammates, as we all had to complete this assignment and submit it virtually. As per myself, I rather enjoy face to face communication on completing a task, which can complete this work more effectively as I can understand each other starter and weaknesses. Also, in the online platform, I found myself procrastinating in completing this task.

Lack of practical implementation or real-life simulation: As there were restrictions due to the pandemic, and I have participated in the class online, I felt an urge to participate in several managerial activities or stimulation like real life.

Alternative ways to organize and perform this task

The professors were overall helpful and it is an effective study to implement for my future purpose (Romano, 2018). Although there are some procedures, I can achieve such learning sessions differently for future betterment.

  • For instance, I find myself struggling from the initial stage of this learning session, although the professor was helpful, I believe that thinking and starting with a ‘big picture’ by breaking down each section as short term and objectives-based units (Cherry, 2022). Therefore, I can understand what I need to accomplish and learn the outcomes of each lesson (Rachinger et al. 2018).
  • Additionally, procrastination tends to hamper activities and can delay the schedule. I can create my strategies along with my professors (Care et al. 2018). Engaging with other small activities like assembling notes and studying reference journals beforehand, can help to understand the professor’s lecture (Wrahatnolo, 2018).
  • In this regard, I can apply this module to my practical daily routines, for instance, making creative solutions on time management such as breaking down the schedule of gym activa and learning times. Therefore, I can use both of these effectively by putting in extra break time too (Tejedor et al. 2019).
  • Following up, I can study several business journals and CEOs’ stories and their coping mechanisms on problem-solving and creative thinking (Gutiérrez et al. 2019). This can help to brainstorm and I can be aware of reality by being motivated, gaining trust and positivity from their stories (Harris and De Bruin, 2018).

Recommendation to use this module for future purposes and on self-improvement

The variety of learning sessions based on creativity, problem-solving and innovation regained business and entrepreneurial skills can provide important lessons as per today’s demand and business world. In this regard, I have participated in assessments that also help to understand the teamwork or rather say real-life simulation on actual business performing scenarios. Therefore, I can position myself at a suitable place for a startup by gathering positive traits from my professor, peers and teammates.

In this regard, I can follow the phrase, ‘Charity begins at home’ by implementing this study module in my real life. Therefore, I can also notice where I am talking of, what are my negative and positive traits and how to find a solution to mitigate negative traits as much as possible. In this aspect, I can take help from my teacher and teammates, on improving my communication skills, learning other skills such as digital marketing skills, risk-taking skills along, handling critical situations etc.

Conclusion 

On the basis of the overall study, it can be concluded that the proper outcomes have been gained from the sessions organized on innovation and creativity. The professionalism enthusiasm has been attained with the execution of workshops on business creativity. The tasks organized for the evaluation of business methods have been beneficial in obtaining proper knowledge of the maintenance of business decorum.

Moreover, the sessions have been helpful in understanding the proper identification and utilization of the business resources. It can further be concluded that desired communication skills have been developed throughout the session which will help in future assassination of the target customers. Along with these, proper strategies required to evaluate customer demand with respect to brand image preservation have been analyzed from the sessions on business creativity.
