Managerial skills should also be developed; various reviews and recommendations help to neutralize the errors to become more efficient in next.

 

Task 2: Theme 2: People Management Processes (Day 2)

In the 21st century maximum employment is possible after learning leadership and managerial skills. In this section we know about factors and abilities that should be required to become an extraordinary leader. It also encourages individuals to build a growth mindset in their workplace. They also learn about managerial skills of diversity in an organization also. Leadership and management skills took a cyclic process containing specific ideas and theories that should be taken by leaders and managers it (Sutherland, N. and Little, R., 2017). The process transfers knowledge based skills and resources to a uniform direction among stakeholders, managers and executive officers also. It is necessary to learn managerial skills and leadership skills for any business purposes to grow morally as well as economically in this competition of market.

According to me, Vacancy procedures in a company are the same for all candidates. There should not be any prioritization and partiality. Sometimes we face different kinds of personality during selection procedures in an organization. Less eligible candidates get selected though their respective sources. Sometimes candidates get priority on the basis of caste and religion. It also happens that vacancies have been filled up with the help of money. That creates unemployment in the society. Less eligible people are getting chances in important places. These things violate the role of equal opportunities, diversities and inclusion in a workplace.

In the field of direct selling marketing, I had faced several kinds of challenges while performing leadership skills to manage the team manually without having digital media. But the digital media helps out lot of thing to do in managerial purposes in a less time such as:

 

  • Aligning the members of business team

Members of one team are meeting within themselves using social platforms. That helps to generate bonds with them. It is also helpful for their profit related goals.

  • Collecting feedbacks

Team Members sharing their ideas and views managing the team through their daily work to fulfill the targets are helpful for subordinates. Those views also motivate the people to achieve their own goals at times. This boosts up the overall performances of a team.

  • Increasing productivity

Productivity increases based on effective skills and performances on a daily basis. Problem solving skills and ability to take workload and maintain accountability develops the organization to promote higher levels.

  • Communication

A skilled communicator should follow some steps to increase the business over time such as: setting a goal, researching credentials, counseling members, sharing proper information, instructing subordinates in a very efficient manner.

So here we learn that acquiring digital proficiency helps collecting information regarding learning, applying them into work, and helps to live in society through technologies.  Everybody shows interest in learning new technologies in the digital medium for their own comfort (Barr, J. and Dowding, L., 2019). It is also helpful for communication and solving problems to internal employees and external customers. It comes under assuring and supporting people through mentally as well as physically well being. According to me, various things should be required to maintain a well being environment in a workplace such as: Safe components, safe criteria’s should be maintained in work. Hygienic working environment should be created. Employees should provide healthy foods and necessities for their living. That enriches individuals to become healthy and wealthy from work.

As per my understanding of “well -being at the time of covid-19” stable mental health should be increased from time to time and the immunity power should boost up in a healthy body. There are a lot of guidelines generated by governments such as: maintaining proper social distance, wearing masks and gloves, proper uses of sanitizers for the sake of people to maintain physical well being. Employers must obey for their health and safety physically as well as mentally.

According to, CIPD (2021) H&WB report, companies give priority to the health of employees to returning them to work. Various propagandas have been applied to increase the awareness of health conditions and to impact wellbeing on mental state reducing fears from pandemic by the professional leaders. According to me, they have built partnerships to “health matters” to develop the health and wellbeing for their organization. “Champion of health”, an initiative regarding maintaining a sound body, had been arranged by the company for an effective healthy action plan for employees.  According to wellbeing program named “Take Care” by Marriots’s had been implemented also in UK in the year of 2020. The company provides financial education to spread out mental awareness socially for the purpose of keeping the employees.

It is reflected that a positive mentality changes to the work has been raised. This helps to work as a team and give high productivity and at the level of the organisation. It reduces the risks of mental illness to perform more in their respective workplace. This healthcare allows individuals to maintain a sound physical healthy body and increase longevity. These health conscious behaviours create a positive environment in a wellbeing organisation. It is meant that individuals are accepted through their Lives, talent and peculiar ideas and get equal opportunities in organization. Organizations give the same attention to employees and focus on their growth depending on their skills (Harris, A. and Jones, M., 2017.). As per the critical analysis and exploring the situation from multiple real examples and case studies several dimensional servant leadership skills (ethical, relational, and conceptual) has been learnt over here. Individuals can follow various terms of learning and development of managerial skills to get better results in the workplace. The awareness regarding health and wellbeing makes the individuals stay physically fit and mentally sound keeping in mind equal opportunities, diversities and inclusion at the same time to the purpose of growth of organization.

 

 

 

4.0 Recommendations

There is some strategic way to flourish an effective leadership and management skills such as: clear and innovative vision, ability to good decision making, skills of negotiation. These skills help individuals to neutralize conflicts and contradictions in the work field. The ability of being creative is helpful for implementing new ideas into business with courageous way. Continuous process of learning from various sources and owns experiences help to become a good leader in organization.
