In this concise reflective essay using Rolfe Reflective model, the learning styles as well as professional reasoning and critical thinking about these two organizations such as Trendy Fashions as well as Loving islands are going to be discussed precisely.
Reflective discussion of learning styles using Rolfe Reflective model
Trendy fashions is an organization which offers a whole host of clothing to support the development of the Fiji community while the Loving Islands is an organization focused on developing organic farm communities for the people within Fijian communities. I have learned by following Rolfe Reflective model to lend a huge hand in the economic growth of the Fijian community while working as an intern in the Think Pacific organization by using and selling Fijian made products to the locals as well as to abroad. On the other hand, it may be mentioned that this organization solely focuses on using Fijian distributors, products as well as other locally owned companies during the manufacturing of Fijian garments which will in turn lead this community towards economic growth. Furthermore, it needs to be stated that I learned how to effectively employ people from the Fijian communities to solely serve the purpose of helping Fijian community to develop. On a contradictory note, it may be argued that the process has been quite smooth as proper knowledge based training had to be provided to each and every member of Fijian community as most of the people did not have much knowledge regarding the process of manufacturing cloths.
Moreover, it may be stated that there are few learning styles which need to be incorporated by all the employees in order to get the best outcome of a particular task and such learning styles are visual, auditory, reading or writing and kinaesthetic learning style. It may be mentioned that each of these learning styles is incorporated with the help of Rolfe Reflective model inside any organization in order to make a thorough plan before expanding its market in any particular region (Huang, 2019). Moreover, I learned under the guidance of the Think Pacific organization to communicate effectively while providing guidance to the people of Fijian community and I also incorporated those four learning styles to me for my personal growth along with the organizational growth. On the other hand, loving Islands is an organization which is focusing on developing organic farming communities which will turn income opportunities for the people of the Fijian community. On a contradictory note, it may be stated that I learned under the guidance of the Think pacific organization that the development process has not been quite smooth as there has been a lack of human resources currently which hamper the development of the organic farming community.
I learned that the management of any organization as well as the Trendy fashions along with Loving islands need to be specific about all the aims and along with that the management of the organization may also need to be strict in accomplishing a task before deadline in order to witness organizational growth within a short span of time. Moreover, it may be stated that I learned that every organization needs to have a tangible aim in order to grow and move towards the accomplishment of respective goals. This tangible aim is also termed as SMART aim such as specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely which enables an organization to make a proper plan regarding any particular task before executing it which in turn ensures better outcome of a particular product or service (Settineri et al., 2018). Moreover, there needs to be proper as well as different learning styles for the people of the Fijian community to learn different languages as these people may need to communicate with other people as well as different language speaking people in order to make a particular task quite easy.
Apart from that, it may be stated that I learned how to stay motivated as well as make others feel motivated in order to work harder to see organizational growth as well personal growth. On the other hand, I learned in the Think Pacific organization a few strategies to cope with any negative outcome which may hamper organizational growth as during the year 2019 this organization had to go through a rough patch because of COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, it needs to be mentioned that I learned how to use influential words in order to inspire the Fijian community in order to work harder towards the achievement of success. On the other hand, I incorporated social learning style to explain my understanding to a group as well as to understand the thought process of the Fijian people by becoming a member of a group. In addition to that, it may be stated that a combination of learning styles which included few separate learning styles such as visual, verbal, social learning styles in order to have a better understanding of the whole process towards the development of the organization along with the development of a particular community (Ramirez et al., 2017).
Reflective discussion of professional reasoning and critical thinking Rolfe Reflective model
In this scenario, the main purpose of the Trendy fashions is to expand its market by using Fijian products, distributors as well as local companies during the manufacturing process which will in turn lend a big hand in the economic growth of the Fijian community. Professional reasoning as well as critical thinking of the working process of Trendy fashions as well as Loving Islands holds a huge significance as it enables to single out the strong areas as well as weak areas which may be honed in order to reach towards success (Armitage et al., 2017). On a contradictory note, it may be argued that the management of this organization is having a hard time due to the COVID-19 pandemic situations as Trendy Fashions is hugely reliant on the tourism industry such as Cruise Ships which is on pause. In order to do professional reasoning, it may be stated that the organization had to restructure its plans and put focus on all the individuals by using Rolfe Reflective model in providing clothing which the people of the Fijian community they may afford. On the other hand, I learned that in the case of Loving Islands the people of the Fijian island are able to receive more income opportunities due to development of the organic farming communities.
On a contradictory note, I may state that most of the people of the Fiji community are uneducated thus, most of them do not possess any particular knowledge regarding organic farming therefore, it was a time taking process to make them knowledgeable regarding organic farming. Moreover, it may be stated that due to lack of proper skill of the Fijian people the outcome of the products may not be of top notch quality which may lead the management to witness a significant loss in the number of prospective clients. Furthermore, in order to do critical thinking I need to mention by using Rolfe Reflective model that lack of human resources with strong digital marketing capabilities is making a huge negative impact on the overall organizational growth of the company. On a positive note, I need to point out the factor that the Fijian people are quite talented and fast in acquiring a particular skill required for the manufacturing process as well organic farming which is certainly leading the Trendy fashions as well as the Loving Islands towards the much awaited success.
Furthermore, I learned under the guidance of the Think Pacific organization that the management uses a combination of different resource management strategies inside the organization such as soft, hard, flexible, high commitment and empowerment to keep all the employees stay motivated. On the other hand, I need to mention that the management of the organizations using Rolf Reflective model are putting its focus on building up networks of new entrepreneurs and businesses inside the Fijian community which is helping the community to receive more income opportunities. Additionally, It may mentioned that the management of any organization need to introduce few significant policies such as work-life balance policy, anti-discrimination policy and anti-harassment policy which will ensure the perfect environment to work towards the much awaited success (Leslie et al., 2019). Along with that, I learned under the guidance of the Think Pacific that the management of the Loving Islands is ensuring proper education as well as training regarding organic farming which will positively move the whole Fijian community towards a healthy economic condition.
On the other hand, in the case of Trendy Fashion, the management is aiming to expand its business widely across the country which will offer more scope for unemployed people to get job offers. On a contradictory note, I also need to mention that due to COVID-19 pandemic the management is having a hard time in providing support to the Fijian community as the management is significantly reliant on tourism. On a positive note, I need to mention that Fijian Garment Industry has been in the market for over 40 years therefore, most of the Fijian people working in this company are undoubtedly experienced which will lead the organization towards success within a given frame of time. I am doing my internship in the Think Pacific organization which provides training to every employee as well as me with great care to learn all the necessary processes to increase education, equality, opportunity and promote sustainable development for the Fijian community. Furthermore, it may be stated that there is a huge importance for any management of any organization to do professional reasoning as well as critical thinking in order to achieve all the sustainable goals in the near future (Alshahrani, 2019).
Considering all the information mentioned above in this reflective essay it may be concluded that the combination of various learning styles using Rolfe Reflective model under the guidance of the Think Pacific organization have helped me in my personal growth as well as in the overall growth of Fijian community.
