Context

Background of study

Innovation and creativity in the business management of India are one of vital aspects in its successful performance. Innovation and creativity are going to describe a new definition of management of the business in the organizations of India. These two factors are increasing in the workplace and are important determinants of the performance, successful business and long term survival of an organization. According to Abhishek and Sinha (2016), the suggestions and ideas of employees are going to be connected with the organization. It is obviously true that the process of implementation and generation of ideas is the source of separation of competitive advantage. Creativity and innovation are emergent and complex phenomena that is expelling over time in this business sector. This will require the abilities and skills of better leadership for maximizing the benefits of improved and new working ways in business management of India.

Few specific approaches such as multi-level, teamwork, individual and organization are the disciplined ways within the management of business. As cited by Bajpai and Dixit (2017), the main purpose of this proposal will be to review the comprehensive integration of these findings between cultures and business. Exponential growth is going to be seen especially of innovation and creativity in the place of work. Popular typologies and the definition of creativity and innovation in place of work are going to be determined. Theoretical perspective to the workplace of innovation and creativity in business management of India is going to be explained in this proposal. According to Gupta and Shukla (2019), creativity is introduced as generation of useful and novel ideas. Innovation is explained in two steps, in first step it is considered as the production of ideas and in the second step, it is defined as the implementation of creativity.

Literature review

Componential theory

The most significant factor of the theory is that the environment of work is going to impact the creativity of business by affecting its components. According to Nair (2019), the components are going to contribute to the creation of creativity at the workplace which will represent basic sources for innovation in the organization. The three major components will contribute to the creativity of a small team and individual and these are intrinsic motivation, the skill of creative thinking and expertise. The environment of the wider work of main components is factors that influence the creativity of employees and it is going to be considered as innovation for organizational motivation. As cited by Verma and Singh (2016), this model is going to support the motivational components of the organization.

The other components of this theory are not going to receive the much attention as this component of motivation has received. As cited by Sharma (2018), componential theory is an innovative approach and comprehensive model of psychological and social components. This model is necessary for team and individual for producing creativity in work. This theory is going to be grounded according to the definition of innovation and creativity, since production of outcomes and ideas are going to be helpful for achieving sustainable goals. The four components of this theory are essential for the response of creativity. According to Sharma (2019), this theory encompasses innovation and creativity of organization and this carries the implication for the environment of work which will be created by team of management. The entry of this model is going to define components of the creativity and the process how the creative processes will be influenced while describing the modification of this theory over the time.

Taylor’s theory of scientific management

Fredrick Taylor was one of earliest theorists of management who pioneered the management of scientific theory. The philosophy of Taylor emphasized those facts which force people to work hard however this was not the way for optimizing the results. Tasks of work are going to be simplified under the theory of scientific management. According to theory of Taylor money is going to be the key incentive for the work. The concept of “wages of fair days for the work of fair day” has been developed with this concept (Fletcher, 2017). After this concept, this theory is going to be practiced worldwide by the management of the business. This theory is going to increase the environment of collaboration between employers and employees. This theory will revolute the concept of work among the teams at the place of work that will be beneficial in reviewing business management.

System management theory

Theory of system management is going to offer an alternative way of approach for building management plan of the organization. Such business plans will be proposed by system management concept which will act as a human body. According to the theory of management of the system, the success of organization is going to depend on many elements of keys of management. As cited by Graneheim et al. (2017), the keys of business management are interrelations between many subsystems, synergy, and interdependence. Employees of an organization are one of most important elements that increase the efficiency of work at the workplace. Other components of a company such as business units, groups of work, and management department are crucial factors for a successful business in the organization.

The managers are going to require to practice this system management concept for the evaluation of events and patterns in their organization. These practices are going to determine best approaches for the management of a business. This theory is going to be helpful for the organization to collaborate with different programs. This approach of an organization is going to make the employees able to work as a collaborative unit instead of an isolated unit. The theory will bring durability in the workplace of a company and innovative ideas will be applied by the management unit to improve the performance of employees. This theory will enhance the efficiency of employees and to perform their tasks in a better way (Habjan and Pucihar, 2017). Alternative ways of systematic management are going to relate with clan and market culture as this theory is going to provide many ways to the Indian market to expand its business and to achieve success in business.

Theory of contingency management

The main motive of contingency management theory is to determine that every approach of business management is going to suit all the organizations. There are many internal and external factors which will affect the chosen approach of management ultimately. Suitable approaches for the business management are going to be determined with help of this management theory. Three variables are identified by the theory of contingency which is going to influence the structure of the organization. According to Kennedy (2017), the three variables of this theory are leadership style, size of the organization, and technology for being employed. Fred Fiedler’s theory has explained the concept of contingency management that underlines traits of leaders that will directly relate the effectiveness of his leadership.

The leadership of a leader plays an effective role in the creativity of the work of employees. According to this theory, the set of traits of leadership will be useful for each situation in business management. The leader and senior management of a company need to be flexible in nature for adopting new changes in the working environment. There are no specific techniques provided for managing the business plan within an organization such that the organization needs to search for different and new approaches for a successful organization (Löfsten, 2016). A leader must be a quick learner for the identification of management style which will be suitable for a particular situation. Variation of approach is going to establish a relationship with the culture of the Indian market as it will provide various approaches to the clan of this market for successful business expansion.

Research methodology

Research philosophy

There are three types of research philosophy which are used under research methodology. The three types are positivism, interpretivism, and realism. Positivism is going to be used for the research of business management and Indian culture. The philosophy of positivism only addresses the factual knowledge which is obtained through proper observation and includes trustworthy measurement. The role of researcher will be limited to interpretation and data collection in studies of positivism (Saleem et al. 2019). The research of business management is going to depend on positivism as it will provide the quantifiable observations for leading the analysis. The other two factors of realism and interpretivism are not going to be applied in this research as these factors will not help determine business management correctly since they may limit study to great extent.

Research approach

Three kinds of approaches are used in research and they are inductive, abductive, and deductive. Among this, the deductive approach is going to be used for the research of business management and culture of India. The deductive research approach is going to be applied as this will be concerned with development of hypotheses which will be based on existing theory. This approach will explain the possibilities of relationship between variables and concepts (Mir et al. 2016). Hence this will provide an appropriate explanation between business management and culture.

The deductive approach will also measure quantitative concepts regarding management of business. This approach is going to provide useful research findings to this extent. Besides, abductive and inductive approach of research will not be used in this assessment as these factors will not provide the possible explanation, measurement, and research findings regarding the relationship of Indian culture and management of business.

Research design

Exploratory, descriptive, and explanatory designs are usually involved in a research. In this study, descriptive research design is going to be used for establishing the relationship between business management and Indian culture. Descriptive design of research will be aimed for describing the concept of business management in systematic and accurate way.

Descriptive design will answer almost all the questions regarding this concept as it will determine effect and cause of this proposal with required experimental research. According to Löfsten (2016), a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods can be used by this research design for investigating the variables of this proposal. The two other research designs are not going to be used for establishment of relationship between culture and business management (Pillai and Kaushal, 2019). Since these two factors will not control and even may limit measurements and observations of the study.

Data collection tools and techniques

There are two types of data analysis techniques and they are primary and secondary research methods. Out of these two types of techniques, secondary quantitative technique of data analysis is going to be used for determining the evidence of this proposal. This technique is going to be used as it contains less problematic situations and actual collection of data (Graneheim et al. 2017). This technique is the proper source for the comparison of accessing required data. Relevant websites, articles, and authentic journals are going to be used as tools for data collection for investigating the relationship between business management and culture. These tools are going to be used for capturing the qualitative evidence which is going to allow this analysis, thereby leading towards formulation of credible and convincing answers to questions of this proposal.

Sampling technique

The purposive technique of sampling is going to be used in this proposal. The main motive for using this sampling technique is to provide the easiness for generalizing regarding the compared samples of this proposal. The purposive technique contains a wide range of data which may be used across the qualitative design of research. The range of this sampling technique is going to lie between homogeneous sampling to sampling of the critical case, expert sampling, and many more (Saleem et al. 2019). This technique is going to provide the overall data which will be required for collecting the data of the relationship between business and culture. Inclusion and exclusion criteria will be intended while collecting secondary data for this research and PRISMA model will be adopted while evaluating the data.

Ethical consideration

The secondary data of data collection techniques need to meet few ethical considerations. The data of this research technique needs to be identified before the release to research (Saleem et al. 2019). The data that is going to be collected for the proposal of business management and Indian culture will be genuine and are going to fulfil the ethical requirements. No new manipulation of data will occur while collecting data for this study.

Expected outcome

Based on overall analysis, it is expected that study is focused on the analysis of the management of business and Indian culture. Background and research problems have been described under the context of this proposal. Theories of scientific management, system management, and contingency management are discussed in the proposal. Positivism is going to be used as research philosophy for this proposal.

Deductive research approach will be used for collecting data on the relationship between business management and culture. Descriptive research design is going to be used here for establishing the data of this proposal. Authentic journals, articles, and relevant websites and secondary data techniques will be used here. Purposive sampling technique and ethical consideration are going to be used for collecting data regarding the relationship of business and Indian culture.
