Design

Interaction Design

It is one of the most important parts of the all digital products because it assists the firms to get the attention of the customers towards the digital products. In order to make more effective the design and to attract the customers through the design, different software such as material.io, etc are used by the firm and these all software makes easy the firm to have the best interaction design in the digital products (Rogers et al., 2011).  At the same time, there are also different types of theories such as cognitive load theory, dual coding theory and constructivist learning, disability theory, vygotsky’s theory, psychological theories, cognitive flexibility theory, component display theory, etc that are used by the firm during the interaction design in the digital products. It is because theses all theories provide advantage for the firm to make the attractive design of any products.

Design

This is one of the important tools namely MS word that are used in the interaction design. In this, different options are given such as font size, name size, colour, page layout, margin of the page, etc that makes easy the designer to  make the best design of digital products and get the attention of the customers (Shank, 2011). This software also provides the advantage for the firm to use the different shapes and the angle of the product. Due to this, this software is considered as a specific tool for the design of the moodle.

Design

This is also designing software from where the user manages the heading of the products along with reading time, characters, words and the sentences. In the research of Stolterman, & Wiberg, (2010), it is stated that due to increasing level of the competition in the market and increase awareness of the people towards the design of the digital products, deigning of the products bounds the firm to make the attractive design. Due to this concern, the use and the importance of this software is quite high.

Below are some examples of interactive designs:-

Above is the example of set the clock and in this, it is defined that five buttons are given that are used to set the time in the clock. The above clock shows that for setting the time, the users hold the two buttons simultaneously and along with this, it is also needed to hold the last button also (Tidwell, 2010). It indiacates that user faces so many errors to set the time and also prove that the design of the clock is not adequate.

The above pictures shows the XEROX 8010 star information system that is used by the firm to design the layout of the products in different shapes and the angles as well as it also provides the benefits for the firm to design the different software and the programming software.  There is continuous change in this XEROX 8010 star information system like Xerox Star 1981, LisaOS 3.1 (1984) by Apple, etc that makes more easy the user to use the different designing software for design interaction (Wiberg,. 2014).

Change process through interaction

From the above interaction process, it can be determined that due to the interaction process, at initial for reading the news, the newspaper is used by the users but with the help of different software, apples make it more easy and in the iPhone of the apple, the news can be read easily. But at the same time, over the time, the change continuously happens and foe better convenience of the users in the use of digital media, the news section is design along with iPad to read the news effectively (Williamson et al., 2009). Because of this, it can be stated that along with change in the technology, there is also a change in the design of the products that makes easy the firm to target the maximum customers and to garb the market opportunities.

USER EXPERIENCE

From the above diagram, it can be determined that the experience of the user can be determined on the basis of three aspects such as form, content and the behaviour. It is because these are the major ways that are considered by the user at the time of using the products and evaluating the design of the products (Wiberg, 2014).

Redesign the Module

In order to redesign of Moodle, there are different steps from sketching the module to finish the module that are followed. In this, first of all, identifying persona expectations because in this, there are different factors such as attitudes, aspirations, experiences, and other social, cultural, environmental and cognitive factors that influence the personaʼs expectations are considered. It makes easy the process of redesign the module (Tidwell, 2010). At the same time, in the other steps, the constructing context scenarios will be created for indentifying that what types of data are required to make best design.

In addition, the requirements will be identified related to the Moodle. So, these are the major steps that will be followed for redesigning the moodle (Shank, 2011).   Along with this, Complexity involved with the selection of the design practices is integrated with the system. It assists in examining the design practices suitable for his analysis of the information process. The tasks to be followed for the analysis is used for overcoming the challenges involved with the fact collection and its analysis. The strategies are prepared based on the everyday basis (Tidwell, 2011). In the interaction design the designers uses the understanding process to be used for evaluating the challenges involved with the information collection process. This method requires the researchers to design the right method that is used for the analysis of the information.

Reflection

From this module, there are different things that were learnt by me during the module. In this, I learnt that there is a vital role of the interactive design in the success of the firm and to get the attention of the customers towards the firm. It is because due to continuous change in the need of the customers and the technology, there is different software and the tools that are available and used by the firm to make the design attractive of any products. At the same time, from the module, it is also learnt by me that there are different issues related to the interaction design that are faced by the firm. It is because sometime it is not possible for the firm to design the products as per they required and the change in the design is the continuous process. I also learnt that before 15 years ago the remote of the TV was quite different as compared to the present remote. In this, there are different functions that are available in the same size and the shape of the remote. Along with this, I also learnt that use of interaction design and tools is the best way for the firms to get the success in the market and to design the products effectively.
