Get Assignment Help from Industry Expert Writers (1)

This journal makes a thorough analysis regarding the impact of Brexit upon various Small and Medium scale industries of the United Kingdom from an entrepreneurial perspective. As per Brown et al.(2019), Brexit has actually caused a huge number of changes in some of the major areas of business that are currently happening across the United Kingdom. Policy decisions of various organizations have to be rescaled now to fit in with the changes that are going to come up after Brexit. This journal highlights that various major sourcing arrears like that of raw material sourcing, export-import rules have got to be rescaled now. Industries including those in Small and medium scale sectors are trying to find out different innovative ways to properly strategize as per changing requirements of post-Brexit days.

Shortcomings

This journal seeks to understand the impact of Brexit in terms of various policies that are going to see an impact like that of International Policy and immigration policy. But there is a lack of industry-specific data.

Journal 2:

This journal mainly tends to focus on the impact of Brexit upon various manufacturing organizations of the United Kingdom. As per the opinion of Gasiorek et al. (2018), various retail and technological industries are going to be majorly affected after Brexit. However, the hospitality and food industries are going to benefit from this decision. Technologically inclined industries, specifically those who have had close links with countries of the European Union are going to be hugely affected.

Shortcomings

The extent of growth of hospitality firms in the post-Brexit situation has not been properly compared with that of the previous records across different levels.

Journal 3:

Contribution to Knowledge

The current journal seeks to highlight the increasing importance of the English language and culture in the post-Brexit world upon various industries of the United Kingdom. As per the opinion of Holmes (2018), English culture is going to play a more significant role in English industries in the post-Brexit world.

Shortcomings

This study seems to neglect the fact that cultural conveniences seem to play a secondary role in industrial scenarios in most cases. But here this has been given primary importance.

Journal 4:

This journal tends to highlight the impact of Brexit on the interregional level in the United Kingdom. As per the opinion of Billinget al.(2019), the Brexit decision is going to create an unequal impact upon the economic scenario across various regions over the United kingdom.

Shortcomings

Policy decisions across different parts of the United Kingdom that have been adopted by various regional Governments to implement Brexit decisions have not been given in detail in this journal.

Journal 5:

This article tends to highlight the fact that the automobile sector is going to be majorly affected by the Brexit decision. As per David Bailey(2017), Automobile firms of the United Kingdom are going to be increasingly marginalized in the European Union in post-Brexit days. The automobile industry is one of the most technologically-driven industries of current times. Most major automobile industries operate in an alliance across different parts of the European Union in a network. As per this journal, the Brexit decision has created such a situation where most firms currently need to realign most of their major operational policies to continue their operations.

Shortcomings

This journal does not however analyze from the perspective of various subunits of the automobile sector.

Journal 6:

Contribution to Knowledge

This journal seeks to analyze Brexit’s implication on the banking sector of the United Kingdom. As per the opinion of Cazan (2017), the banking sector initially has gone through negative phases after the Brexit decision. But this industry is hopeful of better days in the future.

Shortcomings

In this journal, major stresses have been given upon detailed analysis with the application of economic theories. A more comprehensive market data would have probably better suited this research. A major use of calculative methods has been done in this journal with a little exploration of varied business scenarios. This thus has left out some of the major areas that are currently impacting Brexit decisions.

Journal 7:

Contribution to Knowledge

This journal criticizes the major area that has been given upon just the implication of the Brexit decision upon the British Economy. As per the opinion of Jessop (2018), Neoliberalisation is the key word of the current times that is affecting the economy of the United Kingdom, specifically in the post Brexit world. Neoliberalisation of post-Brexit days has created a huge impact in generating inequalities across the United Kingdom’s economy, which is discussed in this section.

Shortcomings

Too much emphasis has been given in this journal just for Neoliberalisation and unequal development. An emphasis upon other areas would have been more helpful.

Journal 8:

Contribution to Knowledge

This journal has given up a detailed discussion on the background for Britain’s Brexit decision. This research mainly tends to focus upon various factors for convenience in the economic scenario that have made Britain go forward towards adopting the Brexit decision. As per Somai (2017), balance of power across European countries has influenced the Brexit decision as well.

Shortcomings

This journal has focused mainly only upon the United Kingdom’s position post Brexit. There have been no huge reliance from an inter-county perspective.

Journal 9:

Contribution to Knowledge

This journal has found out various different modules through which the relationship between the United Kingdom andEuropean Union can get shaped in the post Brexit situation. As per the opinion of Hix (2018), the relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom can take up a turn towards a softer direction, a harder one or stay in the midway. But this is going to depend upon the strength by which Brexit policy decisions are going to be implemented.

Shortcomings

The United Kingdom’s own cultural and political scenarios are going to be hugely influential in shaping various policy decisions across the United Kingdom. These areas have not been touched in this journal as focus has been mainly upon cross country comparison.

Journal 10:

Contribution to Knowledge

This journal mainly tends to stress upon the impact of the Brexit decision with cross comparison with various past data related to that of past performances of various firms. As per the opinion of Thissen et al.(2018), the impact of the Brexit decision is going to create different implications across different sectors. The extent of this implication is going to vary from region to region as well as across industries

Shortcomings

There is more stress upon a data specific study of various factors that play an influential role in the United Kingdom’s economy. A detailed analysis from the point of view of suppliers and other such stakeholder’s perspective could have increased knowledge base.

Research gap

Researches as given in the various journals have mainly differed between an industry specific analysis and that of a country wide regional analysis. This has been mainly done to find out the differential impact that Brexit is posing and is going to pose in future as well across different sectors. However there is notmuch data that is available about inter-country comparison across various sectors. This could have helped locate actual performance of various industries spread out across the United Kingdom. Besides performance comparison data with that of past partners of various firms across the United Kingdom could have been of lot help in finding out the actual effect of Brexit decision upon that of various different industries of the Small and Medium scale sector.

Part 3:
