The decision of Britain to exit from the European Union is mainly a decision of the British Government from an Economic as well as Business perspective. Britain’s decision to exit from the European Union is such a decision that has touched almost all sectors of British Industry. However, this decision has got some mixed responses in terms of an industry’s sourcing and distribution channels as well as manpower position. Numerous articles have been written about the impact of this decision upon various Multinational giants that operate across the globe. However, research work from the perspective of small and medium scale industries has been quite a few. This research thus seeks to shed some light upon these sectors that include the majority of the firms in the United Kingdom. This research is thus going to be helpful for various firms that operate in this sector to understand plausible economic scenarios that they may be facing before entering into business contracts. This research seeks to make an understanding about various methods that contribute towards the performances of various Small and Medium Scale enterprises of the United Kingdom. This research can however be expanded in the post COVID times when various primary data can be quite easily collected through organizing various surveys. These surveys are extremely helpful to find out the impact of the Brexit decision directly from that of the market. Integrating these data with primary ones is going to widen the area of this research in the future.
Research Significance
This research is going to be extremely useful in terms of analyzing the impact of Brexit from the perspective that of various small and medium scale industries. The expanse of Small and Medium-scale industries is less internationally but is more from a national perspective. This research is going to bring the previous and post-Brexit situation of these industries to the spotlight. Shortcomings

This article tends to highlight the fact that the automobile sector is going to be majorly affected by the Brexit decision. Research Design
In this research a descriptive research design has been followed to understand Brexit’s impact upon various Small and Medium scale sectors. This research design has been selected in this part because it is relatively cheaper and easier to conduct research through the usage of this method. Besides, this design is also helpful in understanding interrelationships of various data. Descriptive research design is also best suited for a comprehensive topic like that of Brexit where there are numerous associated areas that tend to get impacted because of the Brexit decision.
Research philosophy
Research Philosophy tends to form a basic guidance for a particular researcher in order to conduct a research. As per the opinion of Mohajan (2018), positivism philosophy has been chosen for this particular research because it seeks to help test various hypotheses that are formed in a research and understand the deeper meaning that are embedded within them.
Research approach
In this research there has been a stress upon deductive research approach in order to understand in detail Brexit’s impact upon small and medium scale enterprises. This project has been done by dividing up different associated tasks of t5his project into numerous phases. This project will start on 1st january,2022 and it is going to end by 18th December 2023 the initial phase of this project includes meeting up of various different stakeholders to draw up a project plan. The next stage is associated with reviewing literature, the time limit for which is set out for 90 days. In this phase researchers tend to analyze different journals as well as that of other literary sources that are available relating to this particular topic. Methodology section comes in third phase; w3here researcher tends to describe a general method that has been selected to conduct this research. This is going to take around a period of 60 days. In the fourth phase there is going to be a general discussion of various results that have come up through this particular research. This is to take around 120 days where various key findings of this particular research are to be sorted out. The fifth phase is associated with submission of a project proposal that has been generated after a thorough discussion. This is going to take around a period of 30 days.
Tutor’s approval is to be sought out in the sixth stage which is going to take up a period of about 30 days. The main part of this project comes up in the 7th stage where a student is actually going to write up this project. This is going to take up a long time of around 120 days. The 8th stage is concerned about drawing up the final draft for this particular project work. This is scheduled to take around a period of 45 days. The 9th or the last task is concerned mainly with that of final submission of this project work. This is going to take around a period of 30 days.

- Variation of impact of Brexit decisions across different industries has also been highlighted in this research. This is going to be helpful for finding out different specific policies that are going to be helpful in solving problems that have been faced by certain industries.
Potential risks of the project
- This project is going to be done upon a self-financed platform thus, there can be risks associated in those scenarios when any financial source backs out in last minute.
- The issue of Brexit is quite comprehensive as it includes various different industries that are spread across numerous different sectors. The Small and Medium scale industries are spread across various actors of the United Kingdom’s economy. Getting hold of various authentic data for so vast a subject is very challenging as any faulty data can mar entire research procedures.
- This research is going to be time consuming as it focuses upon a vast topic of Brexit’s impact upon various small and medium scale industries. The researcher needs to make a proper plan for ensuring timely completion of this research.
