Change Management Approaches
The Change management of the organization is focusing on different approaches for technological advancement to influence customer experience and growing demand. Change management reduces the uncertainty of individual employees and their productivity. As suggested by Domingues et al. (2017), and effective communication approach helps to improve the information flow in the organization and influences technology adoption for mobile applications in the banking sector. The organization is focusing on a technology acceptance model to influence employees as well as customers for a better understanding of the change process to enhance organizational productivity. Employee participation is the core factor of Change management which develops management opportunities and influences supportive activities.
Mutual interpretation and shared responsibilities of customers and higher management are needed for changes in the business based on the technology adoption. In the opinion of Bousquet et al. (2019), change management mainly focuses on the strong vision of the organization to implement the technology in mobile applications for enhancing customer motivation and satisfaction. Customers and changing their need and demand constantly is the change that has been announced for effective and flexible mobile applications for customers in the pandemic of covid-19. Individual employees are focusing on business participation and a new strategy for technology and productivity.
Model of Changes
Kotter’s Change management model is focusing on the organizational changes to influence technology adoption for better business transformation and execution. The model is focusing on the following eight different Change management step:
- Create a sense of urgency: The step is mainly focusing on the sense of urgency for technology adoption in the business organization to influence mobile application models for enhancing customer satisfaction. The effective approach helped to influence the communication between the higher management and employees to increase the concept of online mobile application in the pandemic of covid-19. The model has focused on avoiding the complex process of financial transaction as well as the physical presence of customers in the banking organization (Kang et al. 2020).
- Creation of powerful coalition: The step has been present as effective team management and staff collaboration help to focus on technological adoption and commitments. Individual employees are focusing on team supporting activities for addressing employees concerned about technology adoption and the scalability of a mobile application. As opined by Mohiuddin and Mohteshamuddin (2020), the powerful qualification of employees, as well as training managers, help to influence the adoption of technology for mobile application and influence business activities.
- Create a vision for change: The main vision of the change is to use the right platform and right people for customer satisfaction in this global pandemic situation. Social distancing is a major protocol for reducing the outbreak of covid-19 hence technology adoption in mobile application influences the experience of customers. In the views of King et al. (2018), individual customers operate their financial transaction in an isolated place without a physical presence in the bank that may create social touch.
- Communicate the vision: The change is good which is focusing on the customer as well as employees benefit for developing online mobile applications and the presence of social media. As argued by Jones et al. (2019), the strategy helps to improve the market share as well as return on investment of the banking organization by making more transactions by the effective customers. Customers feel satisfied and motivated by using the online platform which is helpful for their well-being and safety.
- Remove obstacles: The main obstacle for the changes is going to be the software infrastructure of the banking organization and lack of knowledge of employees about technical skill. The banking organization needs to focus on software development and employee training for a better understanding of online platforms to use mobile applications for better use in a flexible and scalable way. However, there is a need to focus on most resistance as a business for reviewing the customer concerns about the new platform (Sekarwinahyu et al. 2019).
- Create short term wins: There is a need to motivate individual employees and customers for adapting to the changes for influencing business perspectives. Individual research has confirmed that organizations will get success and competitive advantage by adopting the technology up-gradation for a customer as well as staff motivation. Reward management has been forecasted to influence employee productivity and manage the overall progress of the business (Li et al. 2020).
- Build on the change: The changes have been analysed based on the business as well as customer needs. There is a need to focus on an acknowledgement of individual employees for the early success of the change in the future. Weekly meetings will be managed by the higher management to discuss the change process and reduce overall complexity.
- Distribute the change in corporate culture: The changes need to focus on the organizational culture as well as changes in lead time and corporate development. Human resource needs to focus on technology development and influence in a business opportunity for orientation process and successful business plan. As stated by Ahmed (2020), the corporate culture helps higher management and leaders for ensuring delegation and practising the change approaches to enhance business development.
