In concern to it, the manufacturing sector of Kerala is not that attractive because there are no government laws which are restricts them (Joy, 2016). Due to shortage of labor, firms and industrial sectors focused on migration of labor from the other states of India in which women are also included. In other words, migration of labor is an old phenomenon which is followed in India.

In India, the structure of employment in rural sector has changes from 2009-10 i.e., in agriculture sector, there is higher percentage of the men who works in the agriculture sector in comparison to women (Joy, 2016). Through this, it can be depicted that the decline in the workforce ratio of women in comparison to men is because of the feminization workforce at agriculture sector.

But at the same time, it is also identified that Kerala economy is facing issues in agriculture sector for which they need to migrant the labor from other states. This article helps in understanding the importance of migrants of labor workforce in India and in that also mainly in agriculture sector (Thomas, 2015).  In Kerala economy, the emergence of migrant labors is declining in the market as all migrant workers and their activities are engaged with a native workers and market demand.

There are several factors like socio-economic profile, employment and income patterns, working condition, developing standard of living in the state, positive relationship with employer etc helps in segmenting the labor market through migration of the labor from other states for working in the agricultural sector (Joy, 2016).
