5.1 The Competencies of Mental Wealth

Increasing one’s level of education opens up more doors for one’s professional life. Activities and pastimes with the intention of supporting future generations (or any educated person) in the acquisition of vital skills and knowledge are referred to collectively as “mental wealth,” and the phrase is used to describe this concept. Reading and writing are abilities that are useful throughout a person’s life and should be practiced from an early age. It is vital to continually extend one’s knowledge and talents in order to grow mental riches, raise one’s productivity, and increase one’s level of pleasure. These three goals may all be achieved by regularly expanding one’s knowledge and abilities. Both the capacity to handle issues creatively and having a rich mental life go hand in hand with each other. Students have the opportunity to put their intellectual abilities to use by reflecting about their employability in the future, how they will respond when confronted with challenging situations, and the skills they will learn while working. Helpful? This statistic is used to assess a person’s level of success in various endeavors (Kaslow,2019).

The brilliance of brains is equal to the depth to which they think. The extent of a person’s technical proficiency is not a sufficient indicator of the scope of their thinking. Components of mental wealth include an understanding of digital technology, emotional and social intelligence, physical, cognitive, and cultural intelligence, knowledge of economic and entrepreneurial endeavors, and the ability to develop and manage networks. Although it is difficult to accumulate mental wealth, if you have even one of the attributes listed above, the sky is the limit in terms of what you are capable of doing (Shippmann,2018).

Digital Proficiency – (DP)	Intelligence social-emotional Recent occurrences suggest that everyone should make plans to stockpile their mental resources in the event that there are other shock waves in the future (which I know for sure is not the last of its kind). It is very necessary for us to get ourselves ready for shock waves that might be comparable to the outbreak of the Spanish flu in 1918.	The world that we live in is now going through a period of rapid transformation. When one examines how far we’ve gone and how much has changed over the course of the years, it’s not hard to comprehend how dramatically different the past was from the current day since the differences are so great	. There was no such thing as a cell phone, laptop computers, or tablet computers when I was younger.
		When I was younger, the world seemed to have less complexities. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) in the digital era ushered in a period of great technological advancement. (Coll,2018)	It is ludicrous to believe that all of humanity will someday get to the same level of technological expertise as we have now. The only modes of communication available to us in the 1990s and 2000s were desktop computers and landlines (Krueger,2019).
		One of the most significant talents a candidate may possess in today’s extremely competitive job market for fresh college graduates is the ability to deal with artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. This is one of the most critical skills a candidate can possess. (Matacz,2015).	Students in high school may be given smartphones, and they would then have to learn how to properly handle various forms of technology. The use of computers is second nature to anybody between the ages of 7 and 15, even adults.

Social & Emotional  Intelligence (SEI)	. It has had an effect not just on employment in the public sector but also in the private sector, as well as on industries, and tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, of people all over the world (Holmberg,2017).	.         By the year 2020, it is expected that the rate of unemployment throughout the globe will have increased from 5.39 percent to 5.42 percent from its current level. The epidemic that was brought on by the Corona Virus was primarily responsible for the bulk of the rise in unemployment. The outbreak of the Corona virus led to a pandemic.	In recent years, there has been a rise in the amount of competition for available jobs, which has occurred concurrently with an increase in the rate of unemployment.
		When the number of people without jobs rose, several people reported experiencing greater levels of stress in addition to other health problems. The social defence mechanism was exposed as having several weaknesses as a result of this shock wave. (Vieten,2015)	As a direct consequence of increased worldwide competition, the rate of unemployment has been gradually climbing over the course of the last three years (since 2018 to 2020).
		There has never been such a prolonged period of deflationary conditions as the current one that the world economy is undergoing.	Corona’s influence may be seen and experienced in every facet of human culture at this point. [Civilization]

(SEI) The infection with the Corona virus is evidence that humans have deficiencies in their characteristics. A significant number of individuals who worked in the private sector lost their jobs, which had a detrimental effect not just on their mental health but also on their physical health. Because finding work is difficult for the vast majority of people who look for it, those who are able to should seriously consider going into business for themselves rather than trying to obtain employment in the public sector. This is because the public sector employs a smaller percentage of the working population. It is crucial for companies that wish to be successful to have an awareness of the cultural norms and practises of the people who buy their products or use their services. Education is often required in order to have an understanding of communication and networking. (Askell-Williams,2017).

(Ci) The number of kids who graduate high school successfully increases on an annual basis. In light of the present state of the global economy, education and reading on their own are not adequate. Knowledge and intelligence are very vital in today’s environment because of the breakneck speed at which everything moves. It is very necessary to stay up to date on current events and to have an awareness of the consequences that these occurrences may have. Take Elon Musk, for example. He is the Chief Executive Officer of SpaceX and a prolific innovator. Tesla was able to produce the world’s first automobile that ran entirely on electric power because the business put in a lot of work and was inventive. He came up with the idea for the Tesla by fusing together recent technology advances and concerns about the environment. This eventually resulted in the birth of Nikola Tesla. The creation of electric vehicles was motivated by a desire to mitigate the damage that conventional automobiles do to the natural environment. The generation of greenhouse gases is significantly aided by diesel and gasoline-powered automobiles, which are among the most major contributors to this problem. Elon Musk was successful in establishing both a personal brand and a firm that is worth several billions of dollars by drawing on his knowledge and experience in the fields of computer technology, his personal convictions, and the car industry. In every one of these endeavours, he has been a victorious competitor. Because of this, he was able to achieve success in his own life and inspire other young people, business owners, and new college graduates to pursue their passions and think creatively about how they may overcome obstacles. He has a mind that is full of skills. Musk is a phenomena that may be seen all over the globe. When I use Elon Musk as an example, I am not trying to persuade anyone to follow in his footsteps; rather, I am pointing out that different people have different goals in life, and not everyone will obtain everything that he or she wants. Throughout their lives, individuals focus their attention and energy on achieving a variety of goals. Throughout their lifetimes, diverse people work toward the achievement of a variety of different goals.

Summary of Report

In order to acquire mental riches, one must possess a variety of traits such as inventiveness, initiative, cultural sensitivity, strong social and emotional talents, and other characteristics along these lines. To amass a substantial amount of mental riches, one needs more than simply a typical amount of inspiration. If you want to be successful, you need to make sure that you take care of both your mental and physical health, as well as remain up to date on the latest scientific and technical breakthroughs. Because of the environment and the market, it is vital to have patience, relationships, the capacity to develop networks, analytical abilities, and ideas that serve society as a whole.
