I follow transformational leadership theory that helps me to stay motivated and stress-free as well as I can motivate and inspire all employees to work more better. My personality test will be performed with the help of the OCEAN Model and the OCEAN model helps to understand my openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism (Purwanto et al. 2018). It is analyzed from my personality test with the help of the OCEAN model that I have scored 56% in my openness test which helps me to communicate with people as well as all employees without facing problems.

My openness nature helps me to understand other people’s problems very easily and I can also solve these problems within a short period of time. Besides that, I am 62.5% conscientious and this helps me to finish my work with full of concentration. As suggested by Choi et al. (2017), conscientiousness is contemplated as a good source of success in life. Therefore, it can help me to get success in further personal and professional life.

My extroverted nature can help me to make more friends in my professional life and it will complete my job happily as well as cheerfully. My introverted nature can act as a barrier in my professional life to get success.

Improvement of extrovert nature can help me to make a good leader and I can motivate all employees to improve production. I am 52% agreeable in nature and this is considered an extra advantage of mine. My agreeable nature helps me to understand the problems as well as it can make me more cooperative.

On the contrary, my ability to do teamwork will be enhanced by this kind of nature. At last, it has analyzed that I am 58% neurotic, which can help me to show my friendly nature in my professional life.

One of the major advantages of this nature is that it helps me to decrease my frustrations along with my depression level. It is said that I can well manage my mental stress level by this neuroticism nature. Therefore, it has been estimated that I have a positive nature that helps me to be a good leader in the future as soon as possible (Dirani et al. 2020).

Mentoring activity is closely related to leadership style and it is said that improved mentoring style helps to improve one step of leadership style. As opined by Andriukaitienė et al. (2017), mentoring activities help to restructure and strategy of leadership style as much as possible.

Evidence has suggested that mentoring involves four stages such as preparation, negotiation ability, enabling growth, and closure. The preparation stage helps to achieve the goals and objectives of mine as well as is enhanced by this strategy. On the contrary, a mentor needs to have awareness of closure in order to improve the growth and strategy of business. In addition, it can help to get success easily. I have to improve this type of mentoring style, which can help me to get more success in our business and make me a good leader.

Evaluation

I have two mentoring styles such as I have ability to improve my skills and knowledge and I have ability to maintain the entire work efficiently. Both of my mentoring styles can help me adopt a good leadership style and I can manage as well as motivate all employees through these mentoring styles (Fowler, 2018).

Analysis

Leadership competencies are considered as one of the major skills and knowledge that is needed to have by a leader. In the words of Sinha and Hanuscin (2018), managing the conflict of the organization, solving problems are key features of leadership competencies along with growth and development of the organization. I have various types of leadership competencies such as leading, developing, and networking.

Leadership competencies help me to develop my confidence level along with self-esteem. I have been improving my interpersonal skills as well as decision-making skills including management skills. Besides that, it has helped to enhance my experience level. As stated by Shum et al. (2018),

leadership competencies allow people to discover good leaders for the organization in the future. Now, I came to some leadership competencies that have helped in self-development.

Leading is considered as one of the major leadership traits that have aided to improve my business strategy in order to improve the goals and objective of business as soon as possible.

This leadership competency has allowed me to focus on the right direction to enhance growth and development. Teamwork is very beneficial to finish work and it has helped me to improve my ability to teamwork. As opined by Andriukaitienė et al. (2018), various types of challenges and issues have been overcome by this leadership competency.

 On the contrary, developing is another important leadership competency that has helped to improve my communication skills including management skills.

Conclusion

I can motivate people as well as I can improve work experiences through this kind of leadership competency. Self-enhancement has been made by developing leadership competency and evidence has suggested that it is one of the major sources of success.

My time management skills have been developed by this leadership competency and I can finish my entire professional work within the given deadline. Networking competency has helped me to get success in networking roles and my behaviour has been improved along with this.

I have to develop my technical skills through networking competencies, which will help me to make them more feasible as well as more suitable to be a leader.

Action plan

The action plan will help to develop my skills and knowledge more and I can develop more suitable goals and objectives for organization. As stated by Sinha and Hanuscin (2017), it can help me to enhance my positivity level along with improving my experience. I have both short as well as long-term goals that will aid to improve my leadership skills more.

I have to improve my awareness skill because I can easily believe all people and employees. I will try to add this feature to my life within 2 months. I will join more seminars, more meetings in order to improve this skill. Besides that, I will handle more projects in order to develop this skill as soon as possible. On the contrary, I have to develop my communication skills.

As I am very introverted, my communication level is very low. I will join various types of seminars and public meetings in order to develop my communication skills within 1 month (Scott, 2017). My technical skills are very low and I have to develop these skills by taking admission in a course for 9 months. In addition, I will join seminars and various types of learning classes that can aid to improve my technical skills as soon as possible.

In recent days, the demand for digital work is high and I have to develop my digitalization skills within 6 months in order to improve my handling capacity more. My decision-making power will also be improved by developing digitization skills as soon as possible. Moreover, I have to improve my problem-solving skills within 6 months by handling more seminars and more projects. It can also help to improve my risk management skills in a significant manner.
