Extraversion

I am an extrovert and I am very much open to people. According to the test score, I am in the lower range of the test score on extraversion that is I have scored 21. I do not have the habit of mixing up easily with people as in such circumstances there is a need for personal space while I am conversing or interacting with individuals. Hence, the test score of 21 has surprised me because it shows that I am required to work more on improving my communication skills and there is a need for more collaboration from my end. Kuśnierz et al. (2020), stated that if there is a low level of extraversion then it usually hinders people and keeps them away from collaborating and participating in any event or activity with other individuals. However, a high level of extraversion requires good communication skills and it gives the ability to mix up with people. For example one I was not open to participating in a concert in the earlier stages and the result was that it obstructed me from participating in the concert and learning from my experiences. Hence, there is a need for performing and learning through experiences which would enable me at strengthening my skills and ability and at becoming open to people.

Openness to experience

I think I am an open person and am on the lower average in the opening of new ideas. The test results it does not depict as such. I showed lesser than my expectations. My score in open to experience is 25. According to the test results, it shows that I am not keen on opening up but on the contrary, I think I am open to new ideas. The entrepreneurship factor is a parameter for measuring the openness to experience as it would provide the taste of failure and experience for new experiences (Anýžová, 2017). This factor also provides the idea of whether people are open to approaching a new situation. If the score of openness to ideas of mine were high then it would have indicated that I am a person with having “non-traditional” approach to the external factors and I am open from all sides. In the case of leadership, if I am not open to ideas and experiences then I do not possess the leadership qualities. When I was in college there was a group tournament performance. I was stuck in the traditional activity which led to losing the match.

Natural reactions

In the neurotic category, I thought to possess more than the average score as I have a natural way of controlling my fear, anger, excitement, happiness, and all kinds of emotions. The test result on the natural reaction was 52 and it was by my expectations. For scoring high I need to be more consistent in controlling my emotions. A low score in this category shows that I lack control over my own emotions such as becoming upset and irritated in bad or adverse situations (Bano, Shah and Ali, 2019). I in college sports I was in an important position that required patience and calmness in the face of adverse or unfavorable situations and my calmness and patience helped me take the advantage of the match and I won. However, there is a need for empathizing with others and being consistent even after scoring high on this parameter.

Agreeableness

I think I am more in the agreeable score. I always make an effort at presenting myself in a friendly manner with other people. My score on agreeableness is 43 which is considered to be less than the average score. Moreover, it shows that I am not always complaining but am friendly and is open at expressing myself to the members of the team. It shows I always gently approach everyone (Moshagen et al. 2020). Hence it is surprising why my test score on agreeableness is less than the average. That shows that I need to put more effort at the time of expressing myself in a gentler and warm manner. People having less score on the agreeableness index tends to have less number of friends and usually show less friendly behavior. The only way in which I can strengthen by score in this category is by participating more in different events and activities and by interacting more with people.
