According to me, self-awareness has been in citations as the most important capability for leaders of development as per various researchers. Leaders who are successful seem to be having knowledge where their inclinations happen to be lying and using the specific knowledge for boosting the inclinations as well as compensating for them. More often than not, people shall have the same merits when asked regarding the skills of good leadership. They often seem to be including the likes of brutal honesty, effective skills of delegation commitment to the job, creativity, attitude with positivity, and most significantly the self-belief, and self-awareness, which you are in possession of the things that it takes. Without any doubt, it can be considered significant when it comes to better management (Hallinger,2019).

According to my strengths, I completed the tasks of puzzle well, as I love doing puzzle. It felt quite nice to be with someone who shall guide the team on the side of the puzzle. I do not happen to be comparing myself with others, I am not sure about the advantages I have with other people. I like the Diana’s Diary and I am also in search of the big picture. As a person who is reserved, I think I cannot speak on those parts much. According to my Belbin roles, trust is the best value of a person that served the best. I am also keen on exploring and developing new ideas and thus, I prefer to work in a specific environment that offers scope for innovation.

When it comes to my weakness, I do not dislike any kind of tasks or avoid them. Every task is great. I have the tendency of being quite unless I get to the comfort zone with the people I am working with. I have to overcome it and I have been trying to do it for quite some time now. I have been struggling to be in the open scene, and I do not have knowledge behind my pointing down. I seem to be lacking confidence in my English, and if I speak on constantly, I think I shall have overcome it and be fluent. I usually depend upon constant stimulation and be inclined for leaving the details to other people, and I am also consistently reluctant for both organizing and challenging others.

My opportunity is that I can improve my weakness by overcoming inferiority, fear and with some amount of confidence. I can also develop my strengths by having conversation with others.    I have been fighting with my fear for making it my weakness into the opportunities.

 

Part C- Areas of Development

As per my weakness in my self-analysis, the three areas of my development shall be talking to people with confidence, overcoming my English language, and being open to my colleagues.

Talking to people with confidence.

It is a certain situation that every person has been within. I want to talk to people, but I cannot do it. My palms become sweaty, and heart starts pounding. I cannot concentrate on the person who has been talking to me, and I keep having distractions. My eyes keep scanning the room for catching a glimpse of them even though they are trying of being discrete. I am struggling for mustering up the courage for going over there along with striking up a conversation that is witty and charming as well. I am someone who has been struggling with confidence for a while, it can be considered taking the time for reading articles on guides on building confidence as there can be usage of strategies side by side. Having self-doubt is quite common in stressful circumstances. The voice within the heads seems to be getting the better of people like me. I seem to be holding back and subjecting myself to the personal analysis with negativity that can stop me from approaching. The way I feel about myself seem to be impacting directly on the way I can interact with other people. If I feel happy, along with being at ease, the conversation shall have the opportunity of flowing freely (Sobratee,2018).

Speaking English with confidence

There is availability of challenges and difficulties while learning a new language, yet none of them are perhaps more harmful than lacking the confidence. With hesitation and doubt hampering the ability of improving, my journey to be confident in mastering the language can be specifically frustrating. There is availability of tips that can help us in building the confidence in speaking the language (Beauchamp,2021).

We all seem to be having a favourite television show, movie, or any kind of YouTube channel. However, rather than watching them in silence, we can listen to it carefully to what the characters are saying, along with repeating the dialogue, which might be of interest to us. So, we have to step ahead and pause, listen and rewind to the lines various times if it must. Turning to the setting of English subtitles along with skills of speaking with the materials that are both entertaining as well as enjoyable. It is also considered to be quite difficult for practicing by myself, specifically when it comes to the improvement of the skills of speaking. Hence, finding a group of friends who are likeminded, and shares the goal of having more confidence while using English language. Getting together and implementing the rule of “English only” while hanging out, leading to the fact that every one has to speak the language for the next couple of hours or so. With the specific system of support, I can surely feel more secured for opening up along with speaking the language without any hamper by the insecurities.

Having confidence while interacting to people

According to my Belbin report, I appear to be someone who is considered to be ready for the development of new ideas on my own as well as in conjunction with other people. My best line of work is among those people who are in requirement of the possibilities and for taking advantage of new opportunities. When it comes to the development of the career, there is requirement of steering myself up in the direction where change is in higher value, since this most likely to be providing an environment where I can have the opportunity of flourishing.
