International Business Strategy 

International business is a significant mode of the business. In order to run the business at the international level, companies focus on the some strategies that are called international business strategy. In this way, the main aim of this report is to reflect the leaning skills an knowledge from this model.

By the studying international business strategy, I learned that in the international business environment, companies have to adopt the significant strategy to become the success in the competition. The term international business strategy refers to the business plan and action of the company. This strategic plan guides on the commercial transactions with the different countries (Wild, 2014). I also found that international strategic business determines blueprint of the business strategy of the private companies. It totally avoids the government business plan and business strategy. During the study of the international business, I also developed my understanding regarding the international business environment in the week 2. In this, I was found that before starting the business at the international level, companies must have the knowledge an understanding of the international business environment. It helps the companies get the benefit of the various business opportunities at the international level.

Furthermore, it is also identified that in the international business environment, it is possible that behavior of each industry can be seen different. In this, it is essential for management and owner of the company to analyze the business environment effectively (Cavusgil et al., 2014).

if a company wants to success in the international business then it should concern on the long-term business environment. It is a strategic process of the business to set the goal and objective for the long-term business profit. In this, it is essential for companies to make the effective utilization of the organizational resources. I also understood that in order to develop the strength of the achieving the sustainable competitive advantage, companies should also focus on the quality and customer service because these both play an effective role in the sales and revenue of the company.

At the same time, the main thing that was I leaned is that a firm that is engaged in the international business then it is essential for this organization to maintain the balance between the stakeholder interests. A company should always try to care the interest of the stakeholder in the business. For this, the management should develop and implement any strategy after the confirmation of the customers (Morschett et. al, 2015). It increases the value of the company among the stakeholders and attracts the new investors. In the same concern of this, in the coursework week 6, I learned the concept of the international expansion and strategic alliances.get a competitive advantage.

In the next week during the study, I learned that concept of the strategic process in the international business. In this, I was found that in the business expansion, companies use the various strategies. In the international business, subsidiaries are established in the different counties. But at the same time, the controlling and main decisions are taken from the headquartered of the company (Meyer & Peng, 2016). I also learned that the headquartered company has all the control on the Subsidiaries companies. In the week 8, I studied that the concept of the innovation and change. In this, I was learned that innovation and change are also considered as the significant strategy that business expansion strategy. During the study in this week, I found various examples of the companies that adopted the innovation and change strategy to get success in the international business. At the same time, I also learned that that innovation and change both are different. In this, innovation is related to exploration of the something new in the business. On the other hand,in a different manner. Therefore, both strategies are significant to expand the business in the international market.

Furthermore, it is found that it is learned that it is also essential for the companies to maintain the interest of stakeholder in an equal manner. For this, companies should take all the decision as concerning the interest of the stakeholder such as employees, managers, supplier, investors, customers, and government. At the same time, the most of important thing that is learned during the coursework is that in the international business environment, companies must evaluate the strategic issue and generating options. It helps the organization to get a competitive advantage. In the organizational success, it is essential for each organization should review the issue in the business and determine the best way to doing the things (Fung, 2014). On the basis of the overall learning experience, it can be said that it was really a great experience for me. By the study of this unit, I learned the lots of thing about the international business strategy. It will help me to develop my professional career in a good way.

Most interesting thing I have learned from the reading, and why

  • The article named Tomorrow’s Global Giants: Not the Usual Suspects is interesting in the reading. It is because it enhances the knowledge on the market segments in the international business environment. From the reading of this article, I was found that authors of this article determine the market three tiers of the market are premium, economy and rural. On the other hand, view of the others authors determined the same market in the four segments that are global, emerging middle class and local and bottom. At the same time, I also learned from this articles is that principle of the international business environment that are important for an organization to follow. This article highlighted the several challenges and issue that are faced by the management of the multinational companies. In this, I also learned that the nature of the challenges and issue can be based on the market and business size of the organization. Therefore, these are some main point that I learned from this article and this main cause I enjoyed this article during the reading.

Most difficult part to understand

  • As the determined that this article is based on the comparison between the multinational companies based on the development of the market. However, this article was interesting in the reading but as well it was difficult to understand. It is because this article contains some difficult language that creates the problem for the reader to get the what is exact mean of the words and line. At the same time, analysis part of this article is also difficult to understand. Even though, it includes sufficient knowledge on the various terminals of the international business environment that is helpful for the reader to develop their understanding. The background part of this article is very effective to understand but the analysis is totally opposite. Moreover, the authors of this articles were tried to presents the comparison bet the different level of the MNC in the international business environment. However, it is unique and concept but due at the same time, it hard to get understand for the readers. Hence, the analysis part and languages of the article are concerned as the difficult part of the article.

Development of knowledge and value

  • The knowledge that I gained by this article can spread among my class friend. It will also enhance their knowledge regarding the international business environment. In order to do this, I would like to prepare the notes that I learned by the articles and that notes will be distributed among the class. In the same concern of this, remaining students will also do the same. This way of sharing the knowledge will be effective to develop the skills and understanding of the students.

 Most interesting thing I have learned from the reading, and why

  • This collaboration in the business environment has become common. In this way, articles named Collaborate with your competitors enhance the knowledge on the collaboration deals happened in the business history. This article is really interesting due to unique information available in this. At the same time, this article is also interesting because it contains the significant information of the business deals. The author of this article spent the 15 years to prepare information to this article. It is most of the interesting aspect of this article. From the reading of this article, I learned what motivate factors that lead to companies to make a collaborative deal in business with the competitors. I was found that the most of the significant and common objective of the companies to get the market share and enhance the sales their brand. This article improved my knowledge on the various other significant topics such as research methodology, how to develop and secure defenses, performance requirement in the business deal as the collaborative. Hence, these are major elements that I learned in this article.

Most difficult part to understand

  • However, the completion of this article as the reading was an interesting aspect for me because it involved the various interesting and significant information. But at the same time, the length of this article is too much that creates the problem to get the meaning of some parts. In this, I was found that one of heading with the name of Alliances should establish and enforce specific performance requirements no performance no technology transfer creates some confusion in the mind of the readers. This part can be counted as the most difficult part of the article to understand. It is because it found that in this section each paragraph represents the different kind of the discussion that makes the difficulty in developing the understanding.

 Development of knowledge and value

  • In order to develop the knowledge of my classmates, I would like to collaborate with them in the class activities. It will help them as well as me to enhance my knowledge on the particular topic. In regarding of this, the group discussion can be arranged among the students of the class and each topic can be discussed in an effective manner. At the same time, the significant topic can be noted in the notebook that can be used as the class note or unit notes. This kind of the activities in the class will help to develop the value and knowledge.

  • To develop my classmates, I collaborate with them in work and activities. This has helped me and other colleagues to refine the ideas and thought processes. The discussion with classmates has led to the better involvement of the classmates in teamwork and enhanced their learning through group work. This has also improved interactions at a personal level and has given me and my classmates an opportunity to share view and opinion, knowledge, experiences and suggestions with each other.
