This is considered as one of the most important sustainable development goal as because it helps in minimizing the impact of disease within the people and help them in leading a happy and healthy life.

Lack of proper medicines, treatment facilities and poor medical infrastructure has led to premature death. Based on the data gathered by CSOs it has been identified that the mortality rate in under developed countries has increased by 37% which is a growing concern in terms of achieving the goal of sustainability.

Moreover, it has also been noted that the rate of infectious diseases has also grown by 2.28% which is also increasing the death ratio in global scenario(Un, 2019).

CSOs role in terms of maintaining good health and wellbeing becomes essential as because they are the ones who arranges for medicines and treatment facilities so that better treatment facilities can be provided to the people who are in great need.

Furthermore, the CSOs also promotes the concept of sustainability through good health and wellbeing by arranging medical camps where poor people are being treated freely apart from informing the people about eating healthy along with maintaining good health.

Through the medical camps the CSOs tries to inform the inform about living a better standard of lifestyle so that they can spread the benefits of good health and wellbeing and led a better lifestyle(Unesco, 2019).

Moreover, CSOs along with collaborative effort of the local government has also taken up the approach of investing $ 1.5 billion dollars in rural areas of Africa so that better treatment facilities along with care services can be provided to them in order to improve the overall health system of African country.

Henceforth, evaluating the role of CSO it has been identified that they plays a vital part in terms of maintaining sustainability within the society by identifying each goal and performing activities accordingly to retain sustainability within the society.

Coca-Cola for the same purpose has invested around $ 1.4 billion where they are looking to store the waste water from the industries and household and store it to the reservoir.

Evaluating this essay it has been identified that the role of Civil Society Organisation becomes very important in relation to identify the sustainable activities that needs to be performed early in order to grow the society.

The role of CSOs are very broad and definitive as because they acts as the median where they rise the common issues of people in national and regional level.

CSOs also arranges for PR campaign and seminars where they educate the people about the importance of conserving and utilizing the resources efficiently so that sustainability can be retained within the society.

CSO are dedicated towards providing clean and sanitation to the people in order to resolve the issue of water scarcity. It has been noted that people in the world do not have access to clean water as a result of which they are facing infectious diseases.

Therefore, the CSOs along with local government authority takes up action in order to resolve the issues of water scarcity and provide better health condition to the people to promote the concept of sustainability.
