Personal development is considered to be a lifelong process that helps in accessing potential skills and qualities of a person. This helps them to develop and implement certain goals and objectives for utilizing their potential in maximum limits. It has helped me to develop an improved focus along with motivation and empowerment to develop a positive attitude towards work that is being done by me. The study here helps to focus on my personal development skills and competences so that I am able to bring about an improvement in it.

Temperament, personality insights, personal resilience, assertiveness and sound decision making are vital for developing leadership qualities. Temperament test consists of accessing four major components that are associated with it. Tests that are conducted are very sensitive and intuitive and help others to develop a specific insight that is associated with it. Taking this test has helped me to understand my intuitions in a better manner so that I am able to look into future possibilities in a better way and enjoy while I am learning new skills. It has also helped me to develop a better level of interaction with my team members so that I can coordinate with them (Sleep et al. 2019). I am able to make decisions and come up with conclusions so that I am able to effectively tackle difficult situations.

Taking up a personality insight test has helped me to establish a necessary balance between teamwork and individual work that is an essential part for developing leadership skills. This has enabled me to come up with a harmonious work environment and ensure that I am able to create a good working environment for my colleagues (Henkel et al. 2019). I am able to voice my opinions in a better manner and actively participate in group discussions. As opined by me, I am able to deal with pressure and stress effectively while maintaining my efficiency. According to me, I have become proficient, tidy and highly organized that has helped me to understand key areas in leadership.

Conducting a personal resilience test has helped me in coping up with necessary changes and developing better problem solving abilities. I have gained a high amount of self confidence that has enabled me to deal with situations in a positive manner and build up a good rapport with my team members. I am able to discuss my concerns and stress with others and come up with a better progress scope for my organization to effectively develop leadership skills. Taking help of a sound decision making test has helped me to develop confidence so that I am able to come up with better decisions (Anderson et al. 2017). I have been able to develop a formal framework so that important factors can be taken into account for coming up with timely decisions. Through assertiveness testing, I have become more aware of my own needs so that I am able to avoid conflicts which are a disadvantage because others might take an advantage for this. I have also been able to control my aggression that has enabled me to have a better control over my emotions.

The Barrett value test has also helped me in identification of seven areas that are vital for understanding motivations to understand key areas of leadership, team working and communication. This test has helped me to come up with more supportive and productive relationships with my team members so that I am able to develop a deeper purpose. Seven areas that need to be addressed here include survival, relationship, self esteem, transformation, internal cohesion, making a difference and service. Through this test, I have been able to achieve a certain level of growth and development by satisfying seven needs mentioned above. Dedication towards my endeavours has helped me to successfully accomplish my goals and come up with positive changes in others lives. It has also helped me to reach to a top level and strive for better performance. I make sure that information that is given to me is clearly understood and expressed so that I am able to pardon wrong doings. I strive towards maintaining harmony by ensuring a level of holistic balance and appreciate freedom catering to autonomy to ensure that I am not being reliant on others. Thus it has helped me to focus upon certain areas so that I can opt for future developments.

Emotional intelligence tests have helped to develop a deeper understanding about myself awareness, self management, social awareness and relationship management. Self management has helped in adapting to changing situations so that I am able to reach a certain level of excellence for seizing opportunities and acting on it. I am also able to build decision networks in order to recognize and meet customer needs (Elfenbein and MacCann, 2017). Feedback and guidance has effectively helped me to strengthen and support abilities of others for initiating new ideas and leading people. Simple personality test has helped in identifying my potential strengths and weaknesses so that I am able to identify potential people management strategies and procedures (Xia et al. 2017). It has also helped me to come up with better choices so that I am able to develop better future prospects regarding personal development needs.

Conflict handling tests are conducted so that I am able to develop a personal conflict resolution style of my own. Through conflict resolution, I have been able to come up with an effective strategy that has helped to ensure better team working capabilities and ensure better social interaction and communication. Analysing a survey that is based upon conflict management has helped me to determine barriers that are causing interference for ensuring effective teamwork and establish a set of common goals (Graham et al. 2018). It has also helped me in coming up with effective ways for resolving potential barriers by acknowledging an effective solution. It is necessary that certain personality traits are developed by me so that it becomes easier for me to handle conflicts. Results obtained showed me that I am 82% extrovert, 64% intuitive and 83% assertive. I have 67% capability of judging that reflects my approach to work, planning and decision making ability. Thus this has helped me to develop a better attitude towards my work.  It has helped me in effectively controlling my stress and ensuring a better level of control over my emotions and behaviour. This has also helped me to come up with effective tools in order to effectively manage my personal development.

Locus of control tests have helped in determination of attributes that are related to outcomes of actions that have been performed by me. Through this test, forces that are responsible for success and failure can be easily determined and this has a significant impact upon motivations, expectations, self esteem and risk taking behaviour that are important aspects catering to people management (Heywood et al. 2017).  I have a mind presence of 82% which needs to be improved so that I am able to better interact with my surroundings. My thinking capability refers to 61% which needs to be improved so that I am able to come up with better decision making capabilities. According to tests conducted on personality development, I have 83% ability for taking vital decisions.  There are two types of locus control that are responsible for determining success or failure. External locus control helps in coming up with a belief that success and failures are not in the hands of an individual and are determined by outer factors. Internal locus has helped me to understand that I am responsible for my own success and failure. Thus I am able to identify key components of leadership and team working.

Tests that have been conducted above, I have been successful in understanding my strengths and weaknesses that would help me to cater to my personal development needs. Taking these tests have helped me to come up with better decision making capabilities and learn new skills to develop key competences in the areas of leadership, team working and ensure effective communication and social interaction. Data that has been obtained from tests conducted above has helped me to identify areas of improvement with reference to my temperament, personal resilience, personality insight, assertiveness and sound decision making capabilities (Hasanzadeh et al. 2019). Tests conducted above have been successful in fulfilling my expectations by making me aware of my strengths and weaknesses and helping me in identifying potential areas for improvement.

I have been able to develop a better control over my emotions and come up with conflict resolution strategies to ensure effective leadership management. I am able to make a value of its significance based upon scores that I have got while undergoing these tests. Another major significance that it has is it has helped me in identification of strategies that are related to people management. Certain areas have been identified like coping up with necessary changes, understanding information clearly, achieving a certain level of growth and development and managing stress has helped me to come up with better strategies. There is presence of commonalities regarding experiences that I have gained while ongoing through these tests and this has helped me in sharing my experience with my team members (Okere, 2019). My thinking capability refers to 61% which needs to be improved so that I am able to come up with better decision making capabilities. According to tests conducted on personality development, I have 83% ability for taking vital decisions. I have been successful in motivating them to take these tests so that they are able to identify their areas of improvement.

I have understood that I am responsible for my own failures and success and come up with strategies so that I am able to effectively manage existing barriers. These tests have also helped me in utilizing essential opportunities so that I am able to achieve a certain level of growth. There are surprises in accordance to self esteem and transformation that I have undergone that have helped me to develop more self and social awareness. I have also been able to become self reliant so that I am able to achieve my goals and objectives. Data that I am referring to is Barrett’s Value Test that has helped me to become more aware about my emergent needs and potentially developing skills that are necessary for satisfying needs that are related to it. I can opt for proper coaching and training and based on learning’s ask my seniors for feedback so that I am able to learn certain techniques that would help me to grow and ensure personal development and people management. I would also be able to find personal fulfilment leading me to a deeper understanding of my needs.

Above study helped me in concluding that I can develop effective strategies for catering to my own personal development needs. I have taken certain tests like Barrett value test, emotional intelligence tests, personality insights and personal resilience that have helped me in exploring my potentials so that I am able to overcome them in a better way. I have developed capability for getting adjusted to every situation and developing a better level of self esteem that would be essential for handling teams and developing effective strategies for social interactions and communications. I am also able to develop strategic planning procedures and develop employee engagement surveys so that a better relationship management can be developed for improving my existing skills and competences.
