Using technologies will certainly prove beneficial in mitigating the various risks and threats associated with management of construction companies along with achieving sustainability in carrying out projects. Increase in urbanization and globalization has profoundly impacted the growth of construction industries where adopting sustainable strategies have become a vital part (Govindan et al., 2016).
Rationale of the research
The research will definitely prove effective in reducing energy consumption which will eventually assist in achieving sustainability in various operations and activities associated with the construction industry. In other words, it may be asserted that the research will also prove beneficial in managing the employees and staff associated with construction projects where implementing advanced technologies will definitely provide an added advantage in tracking the performance and productivity of the employees. Changes in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM) needs to be done in order to align the sustainable projects with organizational goals by implementing green management approaches (Nejati et al., 2017). Focusing on adopting sustainable technologies in the construction industry will also provide an added advantage to companies in gaining competitive advantage in the global business context. This research will provide a clear perspective on the various aspects related to sustainable construction in the modern construction sector by managing the employees in an effective way. The research will also prove immensely effective in finding possible solutions in order to confront the threats and risks in a strategic way associated with the construction sector.
Aim of the research
The research aims to achieve optimum levels of performance and productivity through implementing sustainable technologies in the construction industry in order to enhance the quality of the projects along with managing the employee and staff in the most appropriate way.

Research Methodology
Research philosophy
Positivism research philosophy will be followed in this research as it becomes immensely essential in understanding patterns and trends which becomes beneficial in analysing various aspects related to a research. Positivism research philosophy is based on empiricism as well as on foundationalism and helps in proving or rejecting a hypothesis in a proper way (Ryan, 2018).
Research approach
The research will follow a deductive approach in order to provide a clear understanding of the various concepts associated with the construction industry and will certainly prove effective in generalizing the findings. Deductive approach will also be effective in saving time which begins with a theory and usually moves towards a hypothesis based on logical facts.
Research strategy
The research will be done by collecting primary data through interviews where open ended questions will be asked to the respondents and qualitative data analysis will be done with utmost care and precision. Additionally, it may be stated that following a particular research philosophy and approach provides a strong foundation to any research and assists in developing a reliable theory or conclusion (Saunders et al., 2015).

Data collection
Interviews will be conducted for data collection where open ended questions will be asked to the senior leaders, managers of companies associated with the construction industry in order to understand the views and opinions in a clear way. Furthermore, primary data will be collected and focus will be given towards maintaining privacy of the respondents.
Data analysis
Qualitative data analysis will be done with extreme care and precision in order to generate reliable results at the end of the research where attention will be given towards an unbiased data analysis process. However, during the data analysis process, special attention will be given in order to analyse all the aspects in detail to generate most appropriate results at the end.
Ethical consideration
The research will be carried out following all the ethical considerations in order to avoid any sort of legal complexity which may hamper the progress of the entire research process and focus will be given towards maintaining the privacy of the respondents. Moreover, any type of breach of law and regulations will be strictly avoided and all the important protocols will be followed during the research.
Research limitations
The research may face issues and difficulties related to availability of the respondents of the research as the senior managers and leaders remain extremely busy in their work and finding out time for conducting the interviews may be a challenging task. Availability of financial resources may also impact the research in a negative way.
