Personal efficacy is critical in today’s environment of intense competitiveness in the employment chances industry. Personal effectiveness relates to how a person uses their talents and how they use those skills to increase their overall success (Covey, 2020).
Personal effectiveness is about realizing your maximum potential by making optimal use of the resources available to you to achieve personal and professional goals. The report emphasizes on Mark Zuckerberg’s abilities and behavior and acknowledges as the best illustration of skill upgrading to achieve enormous achievement collectively and worldwide.
He dropped out of Harvard; however, he never gave up his dreams (Thetimes.co.uk, 2022). Thus, his success came after a lot of patience and hard work. He founded Facebook, the contemporary internet-based world connection. Mark Zuckerberg’s accomplishments and remarkable achievements, including hard work, ruthlessness, critical thinking, and many more, are described in this report (Thompson, 2021).
He believes that although skill and knowledge are important, the path to success must also help others. It also emphasizes personal effectiveness frameworks such as the personal brand features framework.

Skill emphasises knowledge and comprehension of a certain event or of several sectors (Taylor et al. 2020). Good communication abilities are required for leaders. Social media has a tremendous impact on modern human lives, and it has a number of good impacts.

The increasing trend of the number of active facebook users has been possible due to the sharp leadership skills of Mark Zukerberg. Facebook is one of the most important social media platforms for individuals to express various talents and professional experiences, and it can also be used to connect people to learn and build skills.
Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook, which allows us to learn new things and interact with people all around the world. He was a determined person who worked really hard on his specialty for a long length of time, and the result is pretty obvious to the rest of the world (Ronkainen et al. 2021).

The important component at this time is to work hard and continue to try to solve a problem. Mark Zuckerberg’s path of hard work involves the discovery and creation of new thoughts and ideas, as well as the analysis of this new invention.
Critical thinking skills:
The determination to get the greatest possible result is the effect of ruthlessness. Ruthlessness in market strategy refers to unrivalled patience and analytical reasoning (Changwong et al. 2018). Mark Zuckerberg started with Facebook, but he has now linked all of the most popular platforms to Facebook in order to construct a global internet web and invent a new concept of internet connectivity.
Patience and tolerance:
Critical thinking enables us to think carefully and differently about anything by employing various methods and tricks. To increase this cognitive function, it is critical to practise and analyse comparable sorts of objects. To reach the ultimate critical thinking stage, the concept must be beneficial to the greatest number of individuals or nations (Zhou et al. 2020).
To accomplish Mark Zuckerberg’s goal of connecting the world for business with a large population, this practice emphasises that collectively thinking about success is the only way to create tremendous results.
Personal effectiveness framework
As opined by Covey (2020), proper analysis of 7 habits regarding business operations helped a person to become a global leader and manage their business effectively through the proper engagement of employees. In this regard, “Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Successful People” framework can be considered as effective to analyse the skills and behaviour of Mark Zukerberg.

These behaviours have been considered one of the most effective habits for an individual to manage different situations with proper control (Crowse-associates.co.uk, 2022). Being proactive habits helped Mark Zuekrbehrg to analyse the market opportunities for his company and improve the overall business globally. In addition, proper management of employees and external factors that affect business peromaces can be analysed poorly by Mark Zuckerberg with these habits.
“Begin with the End in Mind”
Proper professional, as well as personal development can be achieved with the help of “Beginning with the end in mind”. Global leaders such as Mark Zukerberg have taken critical decisions regarding business development with the help of smart thinking and long-term vision that helped in achieving goals in their professional lives. As stated by Rider et al. (2019), the long-term vision has been effective regarding being successful in b business by incorporating individual skills.
“Put First Things First”
According to Polin (2019), “Put first, thing first” has been considered an effective habit for individuals to achieve professional goals by prioritising their work with their repetitive dreams. In this regard, Mark Zukerberg has prioritised his work as well as taken initiative regarding business goals achievement.
According to Abdelhaey (2019), “Think win” habits help an individual achieve their professional goals with a positive mindset and clear vision regarding their dream. These habits indicate the overall ability regarding deep thinking and the ability to gabbing opportunities in every situation. In this regard, Mark Zukerberg has grabbed the opportunity to acquire Instagram and WhatsApp which were major social media platforms globally. Therefore, the think-win mindset of Mark Zuckerberg helped him to transform its business and maximise it by the acquisition of major companies.
“Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood”
As opined by Rider et al. (2019), managing proper relationships with co-workers and employees helped individuals to improve their skills and habits regarding leadership. Mark Zuckerberg have the habits to listen to the issues regarding employee engagement, and employee needs that helped him to successfully expand Facebook globally through positive management of inter-relationship with the employees.
“Synergize” habits can be described as work habits that include collaborative teamwork to improve overall productivity, efficiency and overall business performances of a company (Crowse-associates.co.uk, 2022). Mark Zukerberg has habits of “Synergize” that helped him to improve the overall business performances of Facebook over the years by managing team performances and improving productivity.
“Sharpen the Saw”
The final habit of Covey’s 7 habits is the “Sharpen the sea” that helps in the overall development of personal and professional life by practicing previously explained six habits of Covey’s habits (Hoffmann et al. 2018). These habits helped Mark Zukerberg to improve his overall physical and mental strengths that support the overall development of his professional and personal career. Practicing good habits also enhances the overall leadership ability and becoming a successful global entrepreneur.
Task 2: Different learning styles
The main purpose of learning style analysis is to ascertain the effectiveness of the learning strategy while ensuring that performance and business objectives are completed on schedule. Evaluating one’s learning style is another term for a summative review to develop a personal ability for personal progress.
Examining one’s own learning styles is a continual process that begins with assessing performance needs through various learning designs in order to objectify the plan on time. In this context, evaluating one’s learning style involves evaluating many ways presented in this study using “Honey and Mumford’s learning styles questionnaire,” which also identifies the strengths and limits of learning styles.

I feel that in order to develop personal effectiveness for personal growth, I must focus on the right things rather than the incorrect ones. I believe that putting in the effort is the best way to achieve success in life and leave a better future for future generations. I believe that we must all confront difficult situations and think critically in order to overcome them.
I prioritise long-term success over short-term gains because I know it is what will allow me to build a stable future. I also think it’s important to pay close attention to alternative viewpoints and techniques. Then, when we navigate challenging circumstances, we may decide critically important things that aid in objectifying the objectives in a timely manner.
Instead of grabbing better ideas without any understanding that could allow me to make better judgments regarding the plan, I believe I should take ideas from the second or third plan. In order to grow personally, I firmly think that self-awareness is a prerequisite for confidence and efficient communication with others. Suppose that we may borrow concepts and information from others in order to create a clear mental picture of the notion.
Recognition of one’s own learning preferences and justification of its advantages and disadvantages
The two main learning styles are “to gather information from others to make crucial judgements,” as stated in the learning styles mentioned above, and “to consider a second time to cope with the unpleasant condition instead of quitting the problem easily.”
These two learning techniques are crucial for me to be able to demonstrate my knowledge and to use critical judgement in difficult situations. However, there are a variety of benefits and drawbacks based on the distinctive learning styles that are stated below.
I am able to handle difficult situations because it provides me the power to make a decision virtually. I choose to thoroughly consider an alternative strategy before making a choice that offers me moral support and enables me to address the plan’s possible risks before they have an impact. Along with giving me the ability to handle challenging circumstances rather than avoiding them, the second learning style.
The first learning method’s key flaw is that it takes a long time to conduct a suitable discourse with others about the issues. The third limitation based on the second learning style is the lack of confidence and patience to consider things a second time instead of giving up on obstacles (Winell, 2019).
The self learning aspect can be illustrated in light of the connectivism theory. This theory opines that all the integral thoughts, information and other theories should be combined in a general way (Herlo and Dorin, 2017). This helps to attain better results.
Task 3: Different strategies for skill improvement
Methods for improving skill
It is crucial for me to highlight various abilities that might aid to enhance one’s own abilities for personal growth. My two most successful strategies for honing my abilities include communication and problem-solving skills. Stressing communication skills is essential for me to be able to talk properly with others and handle challenging situations.
I have been utilising these abilities at work to have a conversation with a colleague and come to a conclusion on how to handle challenging circumstances (Thompson, 2021). I believe that placing a strong emphasis on effective communication with the group helps identify any possible hazards in the strategy and boosts morale to deal with challenging circumstances.
The ability to solve problems effectively is also essential for me to grow in my capacity to deal with difficult situations rather than fleeing those (McKay et al. 2019). I’ve been utilising this ability to help me grow by giving challenges a second opportunity to be solved rather than just brushing them off.

This can be connected to cognitive theory. This refers to the process that states the manner of people’s thinking. This contributes to the development of emotions and help in the evaluation of studies.
Differentiation between two methods
Both methods focus on developing skills for personal development. Without good communication, Berman et al. (2021) contend, we are unable to decide how to address the problems. The ability to clearly communicate helps to paint a clear image of the plan. After that, we might have to decide how to address the problems.
According to Laurillard et al. (2021), effective communication promotes the growth of self-awareness and self-confidence to confront difficult situations and make quick judgments to resolve problems. Problem-solving skills contribute in the development of the capability to deal with challenging conditions and effective communication, claim Merghadi et al. (2020).
Alternatively, Pei and Wu (2019) rely on the knowledge, advice, and information of others, which makes it difficult to stick to the optimal course of action and find a solution for personal effectiveness. Prioritising communication with others often leads to a range of opinions and points of view as well as interpersonal conflict to resolve the issues, according to Perry et al. (2021). Effective communication and problem-solving strategies are also crucial for improving one’s own personal talents.
Effectiveness of methods to develop personal skills
Put an emphasis on successful communication skills, which are crucial for my personal growth, in accordance with the two ways for strengthening abilities for personal effectiveness outlined above. In order to convey my views and thoughts with others and to create a clear picture of the strategy for practical applications, it is important for me to prioritise excellent communication (Akhtar et al. 2021).
I think that improving interpersonal communication considerably contributes to the development of self-confidence in challenging circumstances. I believe it is essential for me to pay close attention to other people’s points of view since doing so can help us come up with new ideas and formulate plans for choosing the best course of action.
I have been utilising this talent for my own personal growth to express my emotions to my parents and friends in order to acquire suggestions and information on how to handle challenging circumstances. Instead of ignoring the issue to effectively communicate with the others, I think it is important to take into account the second and third plains.

I think I can use 70-20-10 model. This illustrates 70% of the knowledge is attained from on the job, 20% from interaction and 10% from self learning. This can be further illustrated in light of the covey model as it states that the internal change starts inside each one of us and navigates through the situation. Linking the 70-20-10 model with the covey theory can help to harness positive self evaluation results.
In conclusion, the study also emphasises the need of using a variety of skills and abilities to increase personal effectiveness. The report places a strong focus on a variety of learning techniques, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and work ethic. The study provides extensive evidence of how learning preferences impact one’s capacity for personal growth.
The results of this study demonstrate that asking for guidance before making significant decisions and giving something another try are the two main learning methods. The study emphasises how critical it is for individuals to develop their interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities. In order to make the decisions essential for personal development, better interpersonal communication may help generate new ideas, thoughts, and knowledge.
Critical thinking abilities must be used to identify any potential hazards associated with a plan to expand for personal progress in the real world. Furthermore, focusing on successful interpersonal communication generated a range of opinions on the subject, making it difficult for me to choose how to resolve their issues in the end. The research emphasises the value of learning preferences and personal growth skills for overcoming barriers to one’s capacity for personal productivity.
