REFLECTION

During my learning, there are different things that I faced and learned by me and these all things played a major role in my life as well.  It is learned by me that there are different information system such as ERP, CRM, etc that are used by the firm for the better management of the business and the customer segment also. I also got the in-depth information regarding this and finally, I learned that the use of the information system is not only useful for any particular segment but it is also better for use to manufacturing, medical and education sectors. I also found out and learned that in manufacturing, medical and education sectors, it is needed for the firm to manage all business operations and the customer also and due to the increasing level of the competition; it is not possible by the firm to manage it manually. So, the firm looks to use an information system that can be better for the firm to handle all business task and can manage all record of the business. I was not fully aware that the use of the information system is better for all firms.

During the study, it is also stated that I also learned that there are different information system that firms use but at the same time, the use of ERP is also one of the better techniques for the firm to use.  The reason in this is that the use of ERP is better because (enterprise resource planning) is one of the best techniques (Ada, and Ghaffarzadeh, 2015). The reason in this is that the used ERP is better for the firm to handle the different things such as customer resource management (CRM), accounting, and HR management and supply chain management that is not possible by the firm by using the other information system techniques. But at the same time, I also learnt that although there are different advantages of ERP system but at the same time, there are also some issues such as cost of ERP, training for the employees, huge functionality, etc are the major issues that are raised and create the issue for the firm in the successful management of the ERP (Boella et al., 2016).

I also learned that SAP is also one of the major applications of the ERP that firms use in the better business handling and the management of the business as well as the major use of the SAP is to make digital enterprise with cloud business solutions. I seen it in a practical way because during my internship in a firm, I observed that that firms were using the SAP and that was effective for the firm to handle the all issues and the business operation also. It was also effective for the firm to take business decisions and business forecasting. Apart from this, I also learned that Artificial intelligence (AI) systems are also better for the better management of the decision-making the process and to handle the all problems also (Laudon, and Laudon, 2016). AI is the development of the technology that makes easy for the firm to improve the business decisions and I can also state that for the better business management and the handling of the customers, Artificial intelligence (AI) systems are much better. 

In the same concern of this, it can be stated that I also learned that there are different techniques of using the Artificial intelligence and in this, it is learned that the most useful techniques are heuristics, vector machines, artificial neural networks and many more that are used by the firm as per the business and the customer base also. Nowadays, firms are able to handle them all working and to manage the customer base also. During the learning process, I also learned that the knowledge management system also has a unique importance in the business and to manage the work also (McDonald et al., 2016). The reason in this is that during the learning process, different firms are visited by us and it is observed by me that for getting the success, the use of knowledge management system is better for the firm creating, sharing, using and managing the knowledge and information that is necessary for the firm to run the business effectively and to handle all challenges also. 

In like manner, I also observed that one of the serious issues that are also faced by the firm is monitoring the behavior and activities of the employees for managing the work and the working environment. In this, it can be determined that to spy the employees and to check all activities of the employees is better for the firm to manage the work and to reduce the risk in the firm but at the same time, it is my personal opinion that to check them all working and the activities of the employees all time is the major reason to de-motivate the employees and also push the employees for no doing the work in the firm that is not effective for the firm as per the business perceptive (Müller, and Bostrom, 2016). So, I think, there is no need for the firm to use this type of way for monitoring the employees. Besides this, if in case, I will a leader in the firm then I will also avoid spying on employee’s online activities. It is because it will affect my leadership and the morale of the employees but better than this, I will try to motivate the employees that will overcome the need of spy and will also help the employees to put their best efforts in the success of the firm. I will also use different leadership styles that will be better for the firm to manage the employees and the tasks also. In a similar way, from the training period, it is also determined by me that some of the employees were under the CCTV surveillance due to their negative behavior in the firm so, manager of the firm install the CCTVs around their cabin for measuring their all activities (Saifulina, and Carballo‐Penela, 2017). But if I was in that situation then I would like to take one decision from two like fire those employees in the firm and the other one is to motivate these employees for a time and after that monitor their performance.
