The product was invented in 1881 in Fawdon and still now they made it as it is very famous among the people.

The flavours of the product comes in different flavours like Orange, Blackcurrant, Strawberry, Lime and Lemon. Hence the raw materials are coming from different sources. Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles have a specific process to produce the product. This product comes under the confectionery industry.
