1. Introduction

Introduction of the dissertation topic

In this research proposal, the difficulties and challenges which are faced by the workers of an association and the solutions for mitigating the organizational issues will be briefly discussed.

Importance of the research 

The following research will be conducted to give a clear vision of the current work culture of the associations along with that the research may be helped to know the difficulties and issues which are faced by the workers of the organizations. The workers of the association faced several conflicts within the organizations such as low motivation and lack of job satisfaction, lack of training, gender discriminations, communication issues, therefore, the workers became de-motivated and did not perform well. More specifically, by improving the functions of the leadership, an association may easily motivate the employees and maintain the work discipline (Hersona and Sidharta, 2017).

Reason to choose the topic

This following research will be conducted in order to address the various challenges the employees are faced with and the research will help to find ways for mitigating the challenges or the difficulties. Moreover, without effective solutions the associations may never be able to mitigate the issues which occur within the association which may become the main hassle for the association.

Explanation of the connection of subsidiary research questions with the main research question

The workers of an association may face difficulties which create a barrier to their performance, specifically, for the organizational challenges the workforce of the employees may decrease. The challenges which are tolerated by the workers are communication issues, low motivation and job dissatisfaction, lack of training, gender discriminations which are the reasons for the dissatisfaction of the workers. However, with the help of effective communication the employees may share the issues or the difficulties for which the employees are becoming de-motivated. Moreover, effective communication is the most vital levers of the association which may be implemented for establishing teams and achieving the required performance of the workers (Bucăţaand Rizescu, 2017). By effective training the management of the association may train the employees for enhancing the work performance as without proper training the employees may not be able to perform well.

3. Literature review

Discussions about the difficulties and issues looked at by the workers of an association

The main difficulties the workers face within an association is workplace harassment as the workplace harassment is the huge theatre for the employee’s behaviour. Furthermore, the harassment of the workplace may content various types of discrimination and different types of acts which decrease the self-confidence of the employees of an association. Gender discriminations reduce the motivation and satisfaction of the employees along with that the gender discrimination also decrease the enthusiasm level commitment of the workers towards the association which may become a huge barrier for between the employees and the management of the association. Moreover, gender discrimination at a workplace influences the job satisfaction and the job performance of the workers of an organization which is not good for the future of the organization (Arshad, 2020). The other challenge the workers face within an association is the communication issues as without effective communication the workers never be able to discuss their problems which are occurring within the association.

Effectiveness of communication to solve the issues of the workers

Effective communication may encourage teamwork and good communication may lead to better collaboration of a project which is extremely necessary for an association for achieving the primary goal. Communication in a workplace is extremely beneficial for efficient internal communication and maintaining good communication confirms that the employees and the higher authority are on the same page. Moreover, with the help of effective communication the management of the organization may understand the difficulties or the challenges faced by the employees during work. Similarly, the workers also discuss their problems or the work issues with the management which helps to create a healthy bond between the employees and organization. Furthermore, the communication makes it easy to interact amongst the members of the management and the employees which build a bridge between them. Through effective and careful communication, the activities of an association may scroll correctly, therefore, the associations need to create an effective communication. Communication helps to mediate the relationship between employee involvement and organizational change which is extremely beneficial for the organization (Presbitero and Attar, 2018). The effective communication between the colleagues is also important as the communication with the colleagues may help to work in a team without any problem.

Necessity of employees’ motivation within an association

The workers are the most vital resource of an association, thus the management of the association needs to motivate the employees as motivated employees help the association by increasing productivity. Motivation is extremely crucial as with the help of the motivation each worker is willing to work hard and provide surety to increase their productivity. The motivation of the employees is the key to the success of the organization as the motivation increases the level of commitment and it also drives the energy of the employees. More specifically, without proper motivation the workforce of the employees may reduce and the employees feel dissatisfaction, therefore, the association may fall short of reaching the important goals. The motivation of the workers is an economic factor which the organization may not be underestimated as only the motivated employees help the organization to maintain the workforce by their skills performance. Additionally, the workers motivation helps to achieve more, which also helps the organization to increase the revenue along with that the motivation is related to the commitment of the workers to the association. The most vital influential motivation factors are the increment of money, personal growth and the work life balance which helps to retain workers at work (Nguyen, 2017).

Effects of the lack of training on the workers of the organization

The workers of the employees tolerate several challenges within an association such as lack of training as without providing an effective training an association may lead to frustration, wasted time and unhappy workers. More specifically, the management of the association is in an influential position to make effective decisions to provide proper training for establishing the employees of the association (Gayed et al., 2018). Lack of training is the main reason for the weak performance of the employees which also causes a negative outcome for the association. Neglecting to train the workers may reduce the performance level of the employees which may affect the safety and the total well-being of an association and it also decrease the productivity level of the association. Proper training is extremely essential for the fresher’s who recently joined the organization as the fresher’s have no idea about the work culture. Therefore, proper training helps the freshers to improve their skills or work performance as without training the fresher may not be able to understand the work process.

4. Research Methodology

Research philosophy

Research philosophy serves as an important part of research methodology which provides a proper direction and guideline to the research which is considered to be immensely effective for completing the research successfully. In this particular research the difficulties looked at by the workers of an association positivism is used as the positivism is considered as a more significant process to collect and analyze the information. On the other hand, the interpretivism research philosophy proves to be ineffective as the personal views of the research and biased views may affect the research in a negative way, therefore, in this research process the positivism is implemented.

Research approach

The research approach is a concept of selecting multiple or single processes through which the research may be brought to conclusion with the added help for the data analysis and data collection. The deductive approach has been followed in the particular research to improve the overall research and research approach is preferred by most of the research process. Moreover, the deductive approach helps in forming a theory from the available source of knowledge and also provides benefits in approaching a particular topic from various viewpoints leading to the related theory (Pearse, 2021).

Research choice

In this particular research, the research process uses the mono method for collecting the required information as the mono method comprises only one method for study, therefore, in this method the options or choice list are quite large. The research process uses the mono method as the mono method increases the variety of research tools.

Research strategy

In this particular research the research process uses the case study as the research strategy and with the help of the case study the research process collects information for conducting the research. The case study as a method secondary data collection which is a well known research strategy and the case study allows the research process to collect information by doing deep investigation.


It has been observed that the particular research process uses the secondary data collection for sampling as in the secondary data collection method there is no need to select respondents instead of that the required data are collected from the secondary sources.

Data collection

The data collection is defined as the process through which the data has been gathered and measured by stating research questions and evaluating the outcomes and testing the research. In this particular research the research process uses the secondary data collection process to gather data for the research as the secondary data collection process is time consuming and cost effective. On a specific note, the primary data collection is more expensive than secondary data collection and takes a huge time as for the primary data collection the research process has to conduct a survey and interview for a certain time, therefore, the research process uses the secondary data collection method. Furthermore, in the secondary data collection the research process may collect data from the existing sources such as journals, books and the websites and this data collection process is a crucial method to use in the process of investigation when a proper process is followed.

Data analysis

Data analysis is one of the crucial parts after the data collection as in the data analysis process all the collected data have been analysed in a proper way which gives a correct result to the research process. In this particular research process, thematic analysis has been done to evaluate the research objective as thematic data analysis allows a highly flexible approach which may be modified for the requirements of the research. Moreover, it may be asserted that thematic data analysis is extremely effective to interpret qualitative data analysis even though it is one of the most innovative processes and the research process implements thematic data analysis as it is extremely easy and simple.

Ethical consideration

This research has been conducted following all the ethical principles which are extremely essential in carrying out a research successfully and there is no intentional harm has been done during the research process. Additionally, no extra information has been taken from the resources during the research and only relevant information has been gathered in the entire research process.


In this particular research the research process uses the secondary data collection process to collect data for conducting the research. There are some limitations on the secondary data collection such as the information or the data which is gathered by using the secondary data collection may not be accurate, thus, the research process may face obstacles during this research.

5. Conclusion

Finally, it may be concluded that, workers are the main key for the organizations for achieving the organizational goal and without the satisfaction and motivation of the employees the organization may never sustain in the market.
